which are easily editable with the right know-how..but that's getting into ban-worthy territory so I don't want to mess with it

I always turn off fullscreen optimization and overrides on DPI scaling in all games and fullscreen always will have the best feel, screw using borderless if I don't have too lol

Windows has a setting that uses the same presentation model for windowed games, so in terms of latency and performance, it should be 1:1 unless a dev has done something very very naughty.

Have you tried doing a clean re-install? Like deleting all the Bodycam folders/files after you uninstall (even the one that hides in app data local). The downside is having to re-do all your settings bindings, but it has fixed any problems I've had.

Its usually steam itself makes sure you have a push to talk as "V" in steam voice settings, use SHIFT+TAB to open up your overlay and click the settings cog icon at the bottom and go to "Voice" . BC default is also "V" and I have it as toggle mute as in Discord Keybinds as "V" so your voice chat doesnt hear you twice when you go to talk, check your stream voice settings and make sure the input and output is correct then test it

Well I looked and Unreal Engine 5 is available for mac, but don't know about this game particularly. I know it uses that engine, but might not work on mac since I only see windows mentioned on the Steam game page. I also found a post on reddit with a guy who tried running Bodycam on mac, and it would only run the menu before freezing.

Unreal Engine has Mac OS support through UE’s Plugins tab, they most likely didn’t port it in its current state but would definitely imagine them doing so in the future

I think the ranking in this game should use experience as well as personal/team performance. I'm still a rookie, and been playing casually since June. I don't team kill (once in a while if someone runs into my line of fire), usually end up 10-12 kills, 10 deaths on average in TDM, but still rookie. I had a rookie teammate yesterday with -12 score in TDM after shooting anything/everything.

That's a good option, and one of my friends also uses a similar virtual PC service and he swears by it. I always thought something like that would be laggy, but he plays a few different online multiplayer games, and says there's zero lag. Probably a good option for those who can't run this game on their own hardware
