If you would like some help to make the game experience better for you, you can try a few things in the audio tab, put sound effects and master volume up to 100, turn your gun down to 5, weather volume off. As you play you will realize certain materials make certain sounds, like being upstairs and downstairs have different sounding footsteps, running in the dirt, running over metal. These are the sound cues you need to look out for because they can tell you a lot of info based off where you are, where your team mates are, and where there could be possible enemy's.

IN GAME settings if I change the GLOBAL ILLUMINATION setting and put it on anything other than EPIC it starts lagging again. As long as it is on EPIC its not lagging

After resetting the settings. It worked fine, then I went to tweak my settings after being resetted. But i noticed it lagged after applying the settings again.

So I went through each setting one by one until I found which one was the problem

Which turned out to be GLOBAL ILLUMINATION

Tweaking the other Graphic settings did not have any effect on the lagging problem

First, get used to controls - I found that slowering the horizontal and vertical sensitivities made my shots more accurate, but find what works for you. Second - learn the maps and, as odd as it sounds, the sounds the floor/other material makes when you step on it - this will help for pinpointing where people are, especially in maps with multiple floors.
