i recommend checking if you have any driver updates and disabling nvidia experience game optimization, and afterwards resetting ur config (third step in the video), it could help
also check if your antivirus for some reason is blocking the game, its unlikely but still do check :)

I've also "fixed" my game by uninstalling, and deleting the Bodycam folders left over from uninstalling for a clean brand new install. The downside is having the game go through the tutorial. Good luck.👍

Also make sure your game is running on a SSD drive, and not a HDD. Make sure you have plenty of room to install on your SSD.

Myself and everyone I play with has been getting the same bug. People will "be in your view" but yet you cannot see them, then "poof" they spawn in your view.

I cant see them to begin with, they are invisible, then after a couple seconds they will appear.

Am I making sense? its hard to describe on text and I dont record all the time to show video footage of it.

I thought I was trippin at first, but then I started noticing muzzle flashes from open areas where there was no people.. and then I explained it to my friends and then they too realised what I meant.

Sometimes their invisibilty will allow them to cross windows/door ways/open spaces etc.. theyre making sound cues, so you can hear them, but you cant see them.

Then they either just appear right in the middle of your screen or they just spray you down, in which case there is muzzle flash, bullets etc, just no person on the screen.

I'm #30 Reissed so dont think this is me complaining about getting rekt from lack of skill.. its far from that. xD

and afaik its not a "hack" because when its bugging out, I literally I cannot see the whole enemy team.. its like they have to be in my FOV & LOS for 2-3 seconds before they "appear".

it doesnt happen 100% of the time, but it happens 100% of all games.

I can hear them.. if they have flashlight/laser on, I can see that.. but there is no player model.

Its since this file restructure you guys did, I had no issues with this sort of thing before the update.

Many people will be suffering from this and not realise and just think "I dont know where I got shot from" but I can guarantee you it'll be this bug.

Its really fucked up play for me tbh. Playing against skilled players in competitive for example.. not being able to see them for a couple seconds before the game renders their model is 99.9% game over for me.

when this game came out I was on an i9 13900kf system with 64 gigs of ram and a 4070, playing at 1440P. Scored 80-100fPS and players and server were everywhere. I could host a deathmatch game and have it packed in less than a mintue. Because of the intel CPU issues I built a new PC with the new 9950X CPU and a 4080 GPU can't get over 80FPS now. Figured I'd try it. Performance is worse and all my stuff previously that I unlocked cosmetic wise is gone. Player base is gone. waited over 10 min hosting a deathmatch game no one joined. Thx for the fun I had, but obviously this game is done.

They dont have to do much for vr because theirs a ue5 engine stereoscopic 3d vr injector that works tolerably and the only issue is the bullets don’t come out of the gun so motion controls wont work🥺

@pale beacon really appreciate the help but been there done that. I even set up a custom profile in Nvidia control panel and tried multiple settings in control panel to see if that fixed the issue. This is the only game I play on the better rig that I have lost performance. I have even went so far as to setting the in game settings to all low. FSR on off, blanced performance quality, everything. No improvement. I also use NVCleanstall and use the tweak for Enable Message singaled interrupt. I have even uninstalled that and used the native Nvidia driver install for the 4080 and still get lower performance on both ways as compared to the 4070. I'm no noob when it comes to pushing my system for fixing performance issues when it comes to gaming. I currently play HLL, BF2042, Squad, Tribes 3 and a slew of other games, and this is the only game I get worse performance than my previous system.

So I had bought Bodycam and was excited to play it. When I tried to launch it, it asked me to download DirectX runtime. So I did and when it finished I tried to run it again, and it asked me the same thing, to download DirectX runtime. I have tried changing the startup settings, safely downloading files that could help, and this that or the other. every time I try to run bodycam it just keeps telling me to download DirectX even if it is downloaded. idk if specs matter but this is my first built PC and Idk what to do. Yes i have specs to run it, but again it just keeps saying "download DirectX runtime" and I have DirectX 12 and it's downloaded, my drivers and windows 11 OS is all up to date..any advice?

bodycam is difficult to stay alive for prolonged period of time unless you play slow and manage to force enemy to run under your sights

shotguns have a much further range than how theyre typically depicted in fps games like cod and such, and pistols are just pretty hard to use in this game at long range bc you have to have pinpoint accuracy bc of the games aiming mechanics

if you shoot it at a wall, you can clearly see its birdshot not a slug, birdshot is spreading out within 5 feet, meaning it should not be able to kill me all the way down a hallway, that would be a slug round, and yes i agree w pistols they very hard to aim at long ranges

well in that case yea it shouldnt do much damage at that range but ive been killed with a shotgun at much farther ranges than the hallway on russian building. just an oversight by the developers i guess.

I think they finally fixed the rank bug. I've been a rookie for the longest time, and up until the most recent patch, the game wasn't applying rank points with wins, and I was continually losing rank.

Word of advice on maps like airsoft... you can shoot through the plywood walls/floor. Listen for footsteps, and blast people through the wood!

Shoot from the hip when close. It usually only takes one bullet to kill, and sometimes aiming down the sight can take too long.

If you played R6 it shouldn't be too hard transitioning as while it isn't "similar" you have to play tactical in both

Team Death match has respawn, and so does deathmatch. Versus is basically team death match with no respawn. Deathmatch is obviously solo. Every man for himself. It's a good mode to practice

Oh yeah F key turns on flashlight in dark areas, and L key turns on laser sight! Keep in mind that they can both tell enemies where you are, so turn on/off flashlight when you need to.
Keep your left middle finger on W key (move forward) with your thumb on space bar (to jump).
