The game is just really buggy you might want to just lower/raise the settings in the config file

I think everything is 1-5 except the lowest you should put global illumination quality on is 2 since 1 is “illegal” cause it breaks the graphics

Love this game! Just want DLSS 3 support back, the game is rad with FSR and FS3 on it literally doubles frames but a bit glitchy at times. THe sparkle from lights is a bit frustrating at times and also I seem to miss kills even when shooting strainght in the head sometimes. Some of the teased maps look insane, Love hospital for the lighting but its a bit horror and scary style. Would love a train station, also get good frames on closed maps without sky etc etc. Backrooms with weird lighting would be cool

@frank bane I agree it's not bad with the FSR, and they did have DLSS, but it was bugged so they removed it for now. You're right the creepy hospital map is awesome, but playing the Russian building map in complete darkness is awful lol! The one time I played it (while using my flashlight in short bursts) there were a couple guys who were dominating because they modified the game files so they didn't have any shadows, and could see everyone without any problems.

Never ever ever just go for 60 frames if you display can handle more. You should be able to hit 144 165 @ High with 0 issue. Hell, my S/O's system is a 5800X3d with a 2070S and it caps 240 no problem.

I szarted the game for a first time today and got following problems:

1. A lot of white pixels will appeare during ard the game and will increase while playing. I used "high" for graphic settings exept for shadow which is set to medium. This is lower than default and will not change anything regarding the white pixels. The grafik Card used is an AMD RX 6800.
   The in game moving perpormance is also very slow.
   FPS is set to performance.
   Any ideas what the cause could be.?

I highly advise you to look into getting a desktop PC, it's overall much cheaper and often also better

There are plenty good guides, I can recommend Linus tech tip, the even have a quite recent one

But it's basically lego, sorta, it shouldn't be to difficult

Often it's also easy to look at Facebook marketplace or other similar used stuff websites to browse for entire towers (PC without monitor and keyboard etc)

It’s all about visibility in this game. Post processing applies a filter at high , so med works to eliminate that . The other post processing features are not needed (turn them off) save for sharpness - I throw that on high or epic. Otherwise view distance epic / textures epic. Other setting I lower because it makes little difference to me overall. I want frames.

Personally I do set my resolution scale to the highest. Helps overall.

I don’t set a refresh rate either, obviously. I don’t use FSR either. TSA is the AA I use. Just looks the smoothest.

I will say this: Sound travels quite far in this game. 20M for standing up / walking. 15M for crouching (that's alot) and 20+ if you're running. Make sure you TEST players by silent crouch walking ALL THE WAY to other sides of the map / uncommon spots and crouch walking to certain positions. IF they beeline to you and prefire it's beyond obbvious. Though, players like me who take sound cues and move fast to your position - they're out there and there are legit sound players. And I will say, most of the good players have found all the good hiding spots and will check them often / prefire them (I do it as well) But the cheaters on this game are BRAINDEAD and cant hide things for shit.

SHooting through walls is also common, wood can be banged with 0 damage dropoff. I'm NOTORIOUS for wallbanging and prefireing if I even hear a PEEP on airsoft house etc.

Oh dude that's a big mistake. Sound in this game is PARAMOUNT. Headphones are a requirement on this game, and if you have 1k hours (those are rookie numbers in this racket! sorry..had to) then you should know sound is big.
