Yes and no, if you are getting over the frames of what your eyes can physically see and process its just extra work on the PC. Frames play a big role in slow motion video shots tho, because you can break it up individually

i highly recommend to check some resources on how to optomize performance in msfs,
so that you become able to adjust settings to your liking, focusing on visuals, performance or whatever is important to you,
you'll have to find a good point to start from and then tweak the hell out of it 😄

How to optimise graphics to have a smooth fps and somewhat quality gameplay?

i added a mod which scales render distance to keep fps at my target and almost everything else is on max. i get stable good fps and good graphics. i also changed some other config settings

when on low fps the fluid gun movement looks like low latency. are you sure its not that? check with something like shooting and see how delayed it is

I loaded arma with 200-300 mods most of them were realism based, had a good time with the factions and stuff but i deleted cuz the fps was stuck at 110 no matter how i decreased viewdistance

Whne you activate fsr the upscale quality it turns off I think. So it's either one thing or the other. For me at least it locks when I turn on the fsr3 and frame generatiom and I can't mess with the upscale unless I turn off the fsr3

Probably has to do with the 20+ visual effects happening on screen at all times

it might just be less optimised, but that still seems extreme. you are running the game at 756 x 491 resolution (upscaled to twice the size) with an m3 that has 8 cpu cores and a gpu equivalent to a 3080. how much ram do you have?
