Just a suggestion to anyone suddenly having performance issues in the game (when it ran fine before). I had this happen yesterday, and I believe it was due to a Windows 11 cumulative update. I let windows update, restarted PC, and everything went back to normal. I've also noticed a similar Windows 10 cumulative update as well on my other PC.
