Only time will tell, the fact that the problem didn't exist on launch leaves me hope that there is a way to fix it. It's clear whatever they changed was for optimization purposes but I just don't know enough about the engine to know how to achieve any of it. Lumen definitely has its limitations especially in scenes like Russian Building with a lot of indirect light cast from the sky in dark cooridors (like the reddit users say as well)

Borderlands 2 has a great story and plenty of content / DLC for it's price. You can play multi-player, and start it and put it down at any time (very time friendly game where you don't feel like you have to invest 4 hours every time you sit down)

Also, in my opinion, borderlands 2 > borderlands 1 > borderlands 3.... idk why 3 just didn't slap the same way

Get to MAX level on all charactersl, you'll be playing for awhile.

Highly recommend all the DLC tho, at least after first playthrough if you like it. DlC adds levels. Locations, bosses, etc
