Does anyone else also feel like the Abandoned Hospital map could use some added lighting to all the dark areas? Like yeah I get it that the dark corners are creepy/fun, but when most players literally just camp in the super dark shadows, it makes that map way less fun to play, subjectively. Tumblewood benefitted significantly from them reducing/removing shadows. I think they should do the same thing with Abandoned Hospital. Thoughts?

That's a reasonable point of view, and I don't hate you for liking the shadows. My only issue is when there are certain lanes where one end is completely dark and one end is completely lit up, you simply cannot peak or use that lane at all because the guy on the dark end will win every time. That's my main complaint. It forces you to stuff 3 teammates into the same lane because you're trying to avoid the unfair lanes with pitch black at the end.

I get your point of it being a learning curve, but I have a lot of hours in this game, my rank is #2400. But the Hospital shadows just give me a lot of unfair deaths no matter how I try to learn from it. The only way to beat the shadows is to camp, which I don't like doing.

I’ve recently learnt yesterday how to counter the shadows on hospital by watching someone play them. If you’d like we can link up at some point and I can show you! They don’t always work. But they have given me less deaths. One of them is honestly shooting before you know someone is there. Knowing the three big spots helps with that.

I don't think I've ever had this issue in Tarkov, because Tarkov maps you can literally avoid the dark areas and the flashlights are super bright. The Hospital map is different from Tarkov because there are lanes you have to use, and it sucks having to stuff yourself into other lanes with your teammates just to avoid the black hallways.

In Tarkov you can just avoid any dangerous areas entirely if you want, because it's a way bigger map. I've played like 6 Tarkov wipes, love that game!
