so i have this error that says cant launch the game beacuse access is denied and thats not it cuz when i relaunch lumafly all my mods are outdated and when i try to update them it says that HK is openned when i dont even have steam running. I downgraded the game i did everything from the tutorial. I used scarab before and i didnt had any problems plz help me

Just open steam and launch the game from there

That or you can try running lumafly as admin if you really want to run it from lumafly (there is no difference really)

"ModLog.txt" can be found in the same folder as your save files (you can drag and drop the file into discord)

Open Modlog with Lumafly (you should be able to copy and paste it into Discord)
Windows: %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\
MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Team Cherry.Hollow Knight/
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight/
Note: some mod installers such as Lumafly have an "Open Saves Folder 📁" button which allows you to find the ModLog easily. Otherwise, follow the steps below:

To get the ModLog on Windows

Press ⊞ + R

Note: ⊞ is the Windows button, in between Ctrl and Alt on your keyboard

Copy and paste this into it %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight and hit "OK".
ModLog.txt is in this folder.

To get the ModLog on MacOS

From the Finder, click "Go" in the menu at the top of the screen and select "Go to folder".
Copy and paste this into it ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Team Cherry.Hollow Knight/ and press enter.
