#custom knight: failed to call constructor. any help?
16 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i've tried reinstalling hollow knight, reinstalling the mods, and it still says failed to call constructor. I've downloaded multiple more dependencies as stated in support FAQ, and it still will not work. here are my mod logs, if anyone can help lmk, windows and i play on steam. (mod loader is lumafly)
Did you originally try to use Nexus?
Mods installed from external sources from the installers (ie Nexus or similar) will not be compatible with mods that are on the installers. If you install Bepinex in your Hollow Knight install and use Lumafly/Scarab, then you will have issues, and your game may not function correctly.
You can use Steam's Verify Integrity options to remove Lumafly/Scarab mods, but you will need to follow Bepinex's instructions for uninstalling that instead.
