iirc there's one on Nexusmod. A lot of SS communities mentioned that as a joke
I thought that was for all double damage? I would be happy to be proven wrong though.
I thought you meant that lol. But actually I have no idea if it does reduce all 2 mask damage. I haven't even completed the game
i tried the one in thunderstore it does reduce all dmg to 1 and gives extra iframes to escape multihit
but it has a bug, if u wear ||fractured mask it doesnt go away if u die to traps. it only goes away for getting hit from npc.||
This is kinda my only issue with the game right now, early game feels too punishing while platforming. The bosses aren't the issue.
Hollow Knight also has an easy mode mod that makes the game slightly more forgiving by reducing damage of enemies and upgrading nail/spell damage. If one like it is added for Silksong, it should be about like that and JUST alter damage values. NOT too easy, not eliminating any of the real challenge, just making it more forgiving.
Easy mode mods should only be used as trainers until a player gets more used to the game, not as a full experience. The rest of the game should not suffer just because of a mod.
And I really JUST think it should alter damage if you say, fall in spikes or if you are at the very start. Nowhere else. Both these games have ENOUGH challenge without needing to also have a sharp learning curve for anyone new to them.
Otherwise, we go too far with the ease of play and we risk losing the game's spirit, as well as part of its storyline and vibe, since Hornet's meant to feel weaker because she was weakened at the start of the game. That only makes sense right?
touching a already stunned boss should only deal 1 dmg same goes for traps and spikes. some casual average player will have hard time playing . they have to nerf dmg for this atleast
This. The game itself is fine, I don't mind it being harder, but surely the game should be hard because of needing to git gud and not because of unfun outdated badly implemented frustrating things?
It seems Team Cherry is patching this request into the main branch of the game with the first major patch - at least the sandworms and gears are getting nerfed. I think the lava is staying 2 damage unless you wear the charm that reduces fire damage.
Lava being 2 damage is fine and makes sense.
But spikes shouldn't be 2 damage.
A stunned boss should not be 2 damage.
BEGINNING OF THE GAME ENEMIES should not be doing 2 damage - you can start to have that around Greymoor and Bellhart I feel, not before. Before that is excessive.
I am fine with some bosses doing 2 damage if they telegraph enough. I am not fine with every boss doing it while also expecting you to dodge things that ALSO do 2 damage.
I could go 5-7 hours straight in Hollow Knight and not feel like I was struggling too hard. I cannot play Silksong for more than about three hours.
Hollow Knight is hard. Silksong feels like a Kaizo mod.
And Kaizo mods are OK, but I don't think most people signed up for Kaizo Hallownest. I think people signed up for Hollow Knight 2.
