40 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Remake it or open a save to auto generate it
Ok thank you so much im going to try it
Please don't ping users with the noping role!
Sorry
In the Custom Knight settings menu, there is an option to Regenerate the Default skin
You can do that, which will force the folder to be recreated
Options > Mods > Custom Knight
but when i click on mods there is nothing there
Then you need to reinstall CK
You didn't just delete the skin folder-- you deleted the entire mod
ok thx
thank you so much i am having this problem for like a week
wait i need help with another thing
when i select the skin it doesnt work

Common issues
- If the Skin List is covering up other mods, you can toggle it with
Del(orfn+Delon some configurations). You can edit this Keybind in the Custom Knight menu. - If your skin isn't working, go to Options > Mods > Custom Knight > Advanced > Fix My Skins. After this, you may need to use the Reload option in the previous menu.
- Upgraded Dream Shield (UDS) breaks Custom Knight’s launching correctly the first time. To use both mods at the same time, you must disable UDS, open a save with only Custom Knight and wait until it stops lagging. You can then close the game and enable UDS again.
- If you see lots of White Boxes ◻️, restart your game. You may also need to try applying skins in a small/empty room, like a stag station.
- Make sure that you apply skins from the Pause Menu when you have your save file loaded. Skins applied from the Main Menu will only be used for new files.
Troubleshooting
If your problem isn't fixed from the Common Issues section above, then please create a post in #1047056433767796766 with the following
You must post a screenshot that shows:
- Where you installed the skin
- With the directory bar visible
- With the skin images themselves visible
- Example screenshots (yours should look like this):
your screenshot needs to match the example, show the folder that has the images inside
with the full filepath showing
i cant find something like this in the default folder
?tag ckss
this is all
The file path (circled in red here) also needs to be in it
you have to unzip it
the images need to be one folder up
sorry for taking too long
You need to move the images up a folder, as mentioned already
You can also try using the Fix Skins button
As mentioned here
