Lumafly crashes immediately on startup. Judging by the older support entries I have a feeling this has to do with the fact that a very long time ago I used the original HK Mod Installer (not scarab), but when I try to download the bat reset files that are mentioned in the older posts it says that discord is no longer hosting the files.

To use these scripts:

  1. Download the file
  2. Move the file to your Desktop
  3. Double-Click the file

Discord has recently changed how links work so some commands haven't been updated but I think these work?

Using other installers shouldn't really matter, fwiw. Scarab, and Mod Installer 2, specifically matter because Lumafly uses the same memory file that they use(d).

How to fix Installer Errors

  • Make sure Hollow Knight is CLOSED.
  • Make sure that the Installer isn't in your Downloads folder (Desktop or a folder on the same drive as your game install is best).
  • If the installer is in a .zip, then you must Extract it
  • Right-click the installer file, and select "Run as Administrator"
