You can also check out this thread https://discord.com/channels/879125729936298015/1206658814871339048 for commissions.
Currently only one skin artist and one non-skin artist have posted entries there, but on both cars I believe that's because they'd rather be messaged than message someone else first. (There are a few others that take skin commissions, but I'm unsure if they are on breaks now or anything)
If you want it to look like this example, most artists would also want to see permission from the original artist to use the OC
It's from one of those doll-making websites where you pick the parts to create an OC.
$500 USD seems like a bit much for a custom knight tbh >.>
Like, I completely understand that it's a a tedious process
I'd 1,000,000,000% do it myself if I had an art tablet and any sort of skill, but I don't
Remember, when you commission artists, you're not just paying for a picture, you're paying for their time to create that picture, and skins can take months to create. Also at $500, that's less than a dollar per sprite.
We are aware of that-- but someone also created the art for the doll. Sometimes those are made so that you are allowed to use their art, and othertimes you are not. If there is no disclaimer, then technically you are not due to how copyright works.

yeah, i understand that payment also takes into account the time spent. i also thought that some animations have overlapping sprites (not diminishing your point in any way, but i'm just curious)
Repeated sprites don't appear on the knight sheet. The knight sheet has over 500 *different * sprites.
To add to this: The Knight sheet is not even all of The Knight's animations (There is also Sprint.png, and a few others iirc)
