scarab not opening

very new to hollow knight modding, for some reason scarab is just not opening. i open it and then it instantly turns off the same second. using latest release (version 2.4.0.0 windows). idk what to do

Im having the same issue, whenever I open Scarab.exe a window opens and immediately after it closes. I also tried opening it as administrator but same issue

This can happen for a few reasons, but most are solved by:

• Resetting the installer files:

?tag reset

Windows .bats to reset things
To use these scripts:

1. Download the file
2. Move the file to your Desktop
3. Double-Click the file
