Do I need to update scarab to get additional mods?(in general) Will my mods also transfer if update?

I am fairly new so im not sure if i need to update from v.1.34.0.0 to v.2.3.0.0. I also don't know how to do that without deleting the version I have and its mods

Scarab just manages your mods, not store them, so as long as you dont fully delete the game they should stay on,
New mods should automatically appear in the installer but it does look like youre quite outdated
