me and a friend were doing a randomizer with hkmp and pale court installed. after doing all of the requirements to unlock the pale court bosses, we were able to successfully access and kill ||dryaa||, ||Isma||, and ||ze'mer||, along with getting ||abyssal bloom||. however, some some reason, the hegemol statue outside of city (which, as far as we know, is how you enter the boss) just isnt able to be dreamnailed. if i had to guess why, its because city crest needs to be inserted first, which for some reason, if we try to place it, we just dont lose city crest? we even tried debugging it out of our inventory, to no avail. if anyone knows ANY way we could possibly access this dang fight, or even just tell us a way to debug in there, then please help. (also no, we haven't really broken things with benchwarping into a new area as far as we know) (I also don't know how to get a modlog, but if someone can tell me I will provide one)

Starting Pale Court:
- Install it using Scarab+
- You must have ||All dreamers||
- You must have ||defeated a specific boss:|| ||White Defender||
- Watch the Launch Trailer if you want directions where to go next.
Known problems with Pale Court
- AdditionalMaps, Extra MenuBackgrounds, EssenceAlways (and any mod that attempts to force Essence drops) aren't compatible, and will prevent you from being able to enter fights.
- Using a BenchWarp Deployed Bench in new areas will break the file
- If you accidentally do this, then close the game, disable Benchwarp, then open the file again. Get off the bench you spawn at, and sit down again. Then save+quit, and you should be able to enable Benchwarp again.
- HK Vocalized may prevent you from accessing fights
- (This appears to not be consistently reproducible, but if you can't enter fights, then try disabling it)
- Skill Upgrades will prevent Charms from working correctly
- Hollow Point will not work if Pale Court is installed
- Any mod that adds new Charms may prevent Charms from working.
If you're having other issues, then please read #"Support FAQ | Read before posting!" and create a #1047056433767796766 post with the requested info and any details. Be aware that Pale Court was not designed to be compatible with other mods, and you will usually need to choose between using either Pale Court or the other mod(s).

idk but i looked at your mod list for 4 seconds and i already saw 3 mods that start with charm

Also btw, city crest staying in the inventory after being used is a feature of rando

Yeah about that, the city crest needs to be in the slot for heg to work
...charm overhaul (makes bad charms good) charm preset (basiclaly loadable charm builds), and i dunno what the thrid one is

Honestly I thought it was already in the tag LOL, although I don't think many people are using them together since the pale court items aren't randomizable. (it's like that so that you can re-enter city if you have to benchwarp out before getting other access.)
ok, well now i need to somehow disable that because its screwing us over
and we did randomzier mostly for the sake of wanting to try pale court after doing the randomizer part
You shouldn't open that save without rando if that's what you meant, you'll likely break it. Pale court wasn't really designed to be played with other gameplay/extension mods
do you know what part of rando it is or is it just rando core that adds this feature?

if theirs a way to teleport between rooms like with debug mod or something and i can get the number for the room we might just be able to teleport in which while less fun and slightly more game breaking would let us actaully fight the boss
It is from base rando, the reason of this feature was explained by Colette. If you don't care about completing the rando/already completed it then you could try to play the save with rando disabled but there's a risk that the save will break. Benchwarp allows to warp to specific rooms but as far as I know it doesn't have integration with the new rooms

well i guess the only options are to disable randomizer or just dont fight hegemol or debug unlock the charm or debug into the room of the fight

I think something like "because city crest will not stay in the statue" seems simpler but that's just my opinion.
