I don't think there is an Archipelago version that works on 1.4 unfortunately
(all mods are version specific, so you won't be able to use anything from Scarab)

__Common fixes for controller issues __
šŸ”¹ Toggle "Controller Native Input" in the game, found at Main Menu ᐅ Options ᐅ Controller. Restart your game after changing it.
šŸ”¹ Unplug your controller before launching the game, then plug it back in on the title screen
šŸ”¹ Use Steam's controller settings, enable Steam Inputs from the game properties, and check controller configuration support through Steam's Big Picture mode
šŸ”¹ Use a program to map controller inputs to keyboard inputs, either through Steam or a third party program

You can check if that helps. Given the fact that 1432 modding isn't supported anymore and that, as far as I know, you can't launch 32 bit apps on these macs without a virtual environment, downpatching is a lot of work just for that imo

Yeah, to add to this: afaik, all M1 Macs are 64 bit, so there's no reason to be using 1432

Beta is back to "none" and mods are reinstalled. Back to the controller issue... it stops working intermittently

#

not sure what else to try at this point

Is it a wireless controller?

#

"intermittently" messing up is usually a sign of a poor connection, such as a wireless controller being low on power

It is wired

#

It only messes up on HK

There's not really any other common issues that happen "intermittently". It'll usually only work or not work, so I'm not really sure what you tell you tamershrug
