#Playing a randomized itemsync with friend, we used the previous save file but doesnt work?

We played with the itemsync a few days ago and now we tried continuing it today but its not synced, how do we get it synced up again? We are also using HKMP4 to see each other.

The ItemSync server was (is?) offline for a bit.
Rarely it has a hiccup and needs rebooted.

Servers were running fine, though I received another input regarding connection issues so it might've been an AWS's connectivity issue.

If the problem still occurs, please reply to this message flower

we made a new run last time after it didnt sync up and we havent played in a while but i will notify what happens when we do

Me and my friends have the same probleme. And we reinstalled MultiWorldlib but it still doesn´t work.

ModLog.txt can be found in the same folder as your save files:
Windows: %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\
MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Team Cherry.Hollow Knight/
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight/

To easily get ModLog on Windows:

  • Press + R
  • Copy and paste this into it %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight and hit "OK"
  • ModLog.txt is in this folder.

Note: is the Windows button, in between Ctrl and Alt on your keyboard

My friend and I are having the same problem. Played last night. entered the same save file just now and it won't sync.

@reef geyser If you want to enter an old file now (before Shadu properly fixes the bug), you can do so by following the following steps:

  1. Restart Hollow Knight
  2. Click a new file -> Randomizer
  3. Click Begin Randomization to generate a seed
  4. Click Proceed back abort back back to get back to the profile selection page
  5. Enter the old file
