hii ok so i got the nosk sprite sheet yeah but its gonna be hard to just go over everything in the one image and try to get it all placed in the right spots so its not janky,, is there a way i can get all the images for the anims like how it is like this?

You can use GODump (pinned in #art-resources ) to split up the sprites.

ok so im trying to use godump but each time i press f2 it gets everything except for nosk
do i need to fight him in deepnest instead of just the pantheons or am i doing something wrong
Make sure you're looking for 'mimic spider' rather than nosk

hmm. When you hit F3, does it show up in the list in the godump global settings?
If it's not showing up, make sure you're in the scene for a while and actually making nosk do some movements. I just killed him in hall of gods and then hit f2 and it worked for me. As long as you see 'mimic spider' in the text file when you hit f3, it should dump. It does take time though, so let it sit for a bit as it works. Nosk should dump 21 animations total.
I do have the nosk sprites if you can't get it to work, but if you can figure out how to use Godump you'll be able to do this for any sprites you'll need for future skin projects.

aw man i got the mimic spider image but when i press f4 only the hud anim shows up in the folder hsdfsdgwsr
yeah im not getting nosk for some reason, even though i am getting the image. when i do end up killing it i just kinda press f2, f3, and f4 which is probably kinda killing it but i guess im only getting hud and dialogue

When you hit f3, it changes the text file. You need to open the text file after you hit f3, delete the animations you don't want and keep the ones you do, then save it, then hit f4.

It's also with noting that after hitting f2, you should wait a minute and then check that out got the atlas. Then after f4, you'll usually need to wait a few minutes while it works on splitting.
i think im most confused on this part, I've searched in file explorer but it never found this file
It's in your save file location. The same spot as where the sprites go for spritepacker.

Did you rename the atlas at all after it dumped? Does the atlas folder contain a Spriteinfo.json?

The atlas and folder path have to match what is in the spriteinfo.json, so if you did rename anything, either atlas or folder, it won't work.
yep, so that's what happens when you use the goDump from Scarab. It dumps in the wrong location, and the spriteinfo is not spritepacker compatible

Well there are two options.
1 - Try out Italy's new sprite packer (https://github.com/jngo102/sprite-packer/releases)
I don't know if this will work because I haven't used it much yet, but Italy made a new version of spritepacker that might be able to pack the sprites dumped in the mods folder. You'd need to install that, move the Zote files back into the directory that matches the spriteinfo, and tell new spritepacker to find the sprites there.
2 - uninstall the version of GoDump you have, and install version 1.5 (This one https://github.com/magegihk/HollowKnight.GODump/releases/tag/v1.5)
Redump the sprites to generate a new spriteinfo.json (make sure you make a copy of your edited sprites first!)

-this version of godump i put into the mods folder but when i open the game, it’s not there in the mod list + the buttons don’t do anything
-sprite packer wont open past the “choose sprite location folder”
Can you screen shot the godump location in your mods folder?
And you can report that you can't open spritepacker on the new spritepacker thread in #art-general
Italy will probably need your log for it to figure out what's wrong.
Can you include the directory bar with this
it doesn't have a .pdb file, which mine does. Not sure if that is causing the problem.
Try putting this file into that folder too.
Also make sure to delete your current godump global settings file before you launch the game just to ensure you get a fresh install.

⊞+R - Copy and paste this into it
