The story of Peugeot Team.

2026. New season, new regs, new cars. The performances reseted, while the liveries, the drivers are changed. Until February 7, 2026, 11 teams were expected to fill the Formula 1 grid this year, including the new Cadillac.

On February 7, 2026, the Formula 1 paddock was unusually quiet. At 04:17 that day, a short, dry statement was published on Cadillac Racing's official channels:
"In light of the current global security situation, Cadillac is withdrawing from the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship with immediate effect."

Under the contract, Peugeot had very little time to build a car suitable for F1 in addition to the WEC.

As a result, their temporary driver line-up was not certain until the second weekend of April, when they announced Théo Pourchaire - who also competes in the WEC for his team, and Victor Martins, who also competes in the WEC like his teammate, Martins, a driver for Alpine.
