Verstappen extended his points lead by 1 last time out despite finishing 2nd in the race because of Alonsos DNF in the sprint. Fernando Alonso and Verstappen look to be the favourites to battle it for the win though Alonso dominated last time out. Mercedes seems to have found some pace with Hamilton finishing P5 and only 6 seconds off a podium. They would be looking to provide Hamilton a car to get a top 5 or potentially even a top 3 finish around his home race. Norris will also be looking to do well around here with it being his home race, And he potentially could have the car to do so.

Formula 1 is back for the Hungarian grand prix, Fernando Alonso has won the last two grand prix in a row and will be looking to make it three to potentially spark a late season title fight although Aston have said they don't expect to do very well around here but anything can happen. Mercedes seems to be have found some pace lately with Hamilton climbing up 3 positions to finish P4 last time out, This caused 5 different teams to be in the top 5 which is what we like to say in F1. Aston have officially overtaken Ferrari in the constructors championship after Alonsos win last time out if Ferrari hope to take it back they need to outscore Aston by 5 points.

Welcome back to Formula 1 for our 2nd out of 3 Grand Prixs in F1, We have a sprint this time around for the drivers to claim extra points. Aston will really need it if they want to catch Ferrari. After our extremely chaotic race last time out that saw Lewis Hamilton finally win his first grand prix since 2024 at his home race and Alex Albon standing on the podium for the first time in a Williams, We'll see you for our first and last Practice.

The only practice session saw very heavy rain and Alonso topping it by a comfortable 2 tenths.

After the first flyers, It's Russell followed by Sainz followed by Alonso but the important bit is that Hamilton is the driver at risk and Verstappen is in the drop zone.

Verstappen and Hamilton pulled away from them in front and they've pulled away from the chasing pack behind

Drugovich comes out BEHIND Leclerc

Drugovich comes in again for new hards and a front wing change to try and go till the end now.
Meanwhile Hamilton who has been steadily catching Alonso for the past few laps now gets past, So Alonso is now down to P3 and the Ferraris are P4 and P5

Drugovich hits Perez and gets FRONT WING DAMAGE AGAIN
