#Drivers losing performance + Affiliate System flaws

From launch, younger drivers keep losing performance even though they're 25ish for example.

I want to get these guys up to F1 soon and they lose performance for no reason even when I have level five Race Simulator. This actually makes things incredibly frustrating.

A side note but if I want to get Amna Al Qubaisi to F1 for example, I have to:

  1. Sign her to my affiliates which I have to wait for half a season to do because she "recently started a contract".
  2. Wait until she's good enough to be picked by an F3 team because we can't pay for affiliates to have a seat.
  3. Wait for her to do 2 years in F3/F2 before I can promote her.

This ends up taking around 4 seasons of just waiting around trying to get someone on the grid.

There's a good chance she won't even get to F3 because she keeps losing performance despite doing every FP1 and having a level five Simulator.

Drivers under 30 should not be losing performance at all, even as free agents.

@ruby nacelle do the devs have this on their radar at all? Any updates are greatly appreciated

Some people just aren't destined for F1

This annoyed me too, Drugovich was rated 79 at the start of the season but dropped to 77 by the end of it despite being 25 years old. It should be assumed that just because a driver isn't in an F1 seat they aren't sitting on the couch every day letting their skills degrade.

I think being able to pay to let certain drivers in f2 and f3 would be a cool idea

For example: you have a driver from your affiliate program lets say Gabriel Mini that is currently in F3
After the F3 season is over you can pay a certain amount to get into a f2 seat.
You could negotiate with the teams to get mini in F2
