#Substitute drivers

I feel like people would really quickly start hating this feature if it were added
If Motorsport Manager can have it, so should F1 Manager
wouldnt really be hated take fifa for example when u include the fact that drives falling ill or getting injured is quite rare alr anyway
maybe if they have a really big shunt they will require a reserve only for 1-2 races
It should certainly not be common at all, but 1 or 2 drivers per season falling ill or getting injured seems to be the norm recently. Balanced right it'd make putting a good driver in the reserve seat a worthy choice, and if you add a feature where you can borrow other team's drivers within certain agreements or within the engine supplier family it'll be really interesting.
In the hybrid era, I calculated that each race each driver has a 0.5% chance of needing to be replaced by another driver for a reason that isn't performance
Thank you, I'm sure that is very useful info
They may also be affected and have to miss an entire weekend for example.
This is absolutely not true, in fact it would be the opposite! We need to get as close as possible to reality where these things, even if rarely, can happen! It's the same thing I've been saying since the game came out about failures of new or slightly worn components of the powertrain, they happen very rarely but they can still happen and therefore must be implemented!
Rather, if I wanted to have the test driver race a GP during the season, would it be possible?
Motorsport Manager doesn't have DRS, it doesn't have sprint races, the graphics are significantly inferior and it lacks many other things, it cannot be compared to F1 Manager 2023 in the slightest...
