Round 1 - Bahrain.
A disappointing start to qualifying.
Bottas gets p18 with 132.181
Zhou gets p19 with a 132.672.
Cut off time to get into q2 was a 131.953.
Will make it look nice to show you guys the rest of quali results tomorrow.

Ah I see. I just sim practice sessions on x16. Not too bothered by that side of things just not letting ai ruin the tyre strategy beforehand. I have 2 sets of mediums for the race

I use 1 set softs and one see of hards in p1. One set of softs in p2 with a set of mediums.then p3 I use 2 softs @pale rover

And pace on conserve same with fuel and harvest on ers

I’m going to focus on bottas more with parts as Zhou was so far away already in the first session 😂

I’m focusing on medium and low speed for now with the upgrades I’ve started. Gone intense on underfloor and intense on front wing with just one engineer

Bahrain…..
Race.
After a disappointing qualifying we made an aggressive strategy work climbing from p18 and 19 on the grid. By starting the race with 5k less fuel it helped make early progress. Temporarily zhou was as high as p11, unfortunately he spun when I changed his tyres. So dropped down to p18 but a solid comeback to finish p14. Meanwhile i did a soft medium medium strategy with bottas and pit lap 10 due to wing damage from the alpha Tauri, which resulted in them getting a penalty.

Albon in p15 has a 1:29.222. Progress.
Unfortunately Zhou is p20 with a 1:29.845.

Qualifying : Bottas p16
Zhou: p17.
Closest Zhou has been in all the qualifying sessions so far.

Race: Knowing rain was going to drop just after lap 30. We opted to start on medium on both cars and then pit lap 22 on softs and go maximum attack, bottas was sitting in p12 on lap 29, unfortunately he spun, promoting him down to p16. The rain arrived, and bottas climbed to p15. Zhou had a few too many spins and finished p19.

🇦🇿 : first upgrades arrive, should be substantial gains. Will do it this evening when home from work.

Qualifying:

With a big upgrade package bottas makes great use of it and finishes p13.
Zhou disappointed again, only p18.

Sprint race bottas had great pace throughout and finished an impressive 9th.

Zhou had a decent race as well and finished 15th.

Race….
We had a MEGA START with bottas , got up to p7. Where we ran majority of the first stint, we went for an earlier stop in order to protect the position as the cars behind were gaining have used the tyres to the maximum to keep ahead. I was pumping in great lap times, however, on lap 19 there was a vsc, which benefitted the alpines and Norris. So we lost loads of time. After the vsc screwed us we were down in p15. However good tyre management meant we had loads of grip left at the end. We got up to p11, 1.2 seconds behind ocon.

Zhou had a quiet race and again disappointing. P17.

Qualifying

Getting blocked on every lap with bottas was frustrating.
Bottas p17
Zhou p16.
Should have a car capable of moving forwards in race.

Race Our first points!!

Bottas with great pace maximum attack an aggressive two stopper. Soft medium medium. We managed the softs very nicely and then after being stuck in drs train I decided to change strategy and got a massive undercut and then pushed like crazy, catching up on the one stoppers slowly.
Then on lap 54 made the pass on gasly for p10.
2 laps later we got ocon.
P8 for bottas amazing result.
Zhou did okay but finished 25 seconds behind bottas in p15 and on the same strategy.

Not quite as good as yours but getting there. Doubt imola will suit the car. And yeah zhou is worse than piastri😂

Imola
Qualifying Bottas : p15 shocking qualifying he wasn’t comfortable on mediums for some reason. He was p8 in q1 on hards.
Zhou : p18 say no more. Shocking absolutely shocking, with the same package as bottas.

Imola race ;

Bottas p12 after a risky 2 stop we made decent enough gains, just couldn’t get passed the alpines they were so quick in a straight, but decent enough recovery.

Zhou: p19. Was actually as high as 7th doing a one stop unfortunately he decided to crash the car and dnf on lap 61 of all laps!! Frustration.

Monaco : qualifying
Bottas : p10.
Zhou p18.

Race Bottas ; p9. Unlucky safety car Ruined a definite p5. But still good points.
Zhou ; finished p14. Decent enough race but lacks the edge in qualifying which continues to cost him

Also a 8.8 second stop for bottas didn’t help !! Lost 3 positions as a result of this under sc

Bottas p14
Zhou p18.

Wet race from lap 30 onwards, didn’t have great pace. Zhou finished p14. Bottas p13. However Zhou finished 41 seconds behind bottas, Bottas couldn’t have done anymore car was just not working at this track

Yes @pale rover going to start focusing on this year now and just wait to do research now as it’s not working out

Was p6 in fp3 at Canada so hopefully a good weekend. But that’s me for the night now

Rear wing and chassis are researched for next year. Not doing anymore now till sliders fix. And just going flat out on development now.

Théo Pourchaire signed up for next season taking over from Zhou. And also Oliver something 😂

I’m 10th low speed. 12th medium and 19th high. So it’s the high speed ruining me atm

How are you upgrading are you doing just one part per atr period and using everything

So you just use all the time available on just that one part

So all the wind tunnel time and all the cfd time

Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong

Just upgraded factory for 2nd time

I’ve got 1.5 mil. I know Theo won’t be great first year but he was cheap for me. I’m hoping to sign sainz for 2025

Canada……

Qualifying :
Bottas p11. Got a clip of his outrageous blocking from an Aston will post later.
Zhou p18. Just not on pace proving why he’s not staying on next season.

Race:
Bottas : P10. A medium medium soft strategy was working amazingly well, until we had a safety car having just pitted others could now do so with minimal time loss. So from what was going to be p7 it ended up being p10. Decent enough but should’ve been more.

Finished p15. 20 seconds away from bottas again.
