Patch 1.6 impossible to launch the game

Apologies for the delay but we are working through all of our Support requests as fast, and as thoroughly as we can. If you try some things yourself, let us know so we can pass on details. If you can make a DxDiag report and send that along to us too, that would help a lot.

No custom content/mods, I just turned on my laptop on the 29th after v1.6 and the game won't boot

Yep no problem, I will put the steps to do it:

1. Open your Game Library on Steam

2. Right-click on your game

3. Select Properties from the menu

4. In the Properties menu, select 'Local Files' from the left-hand panel

5. On the Local Files page, select 'Verify integrity of game files'

6. Steam will then verify your files. Please note this can take a few minutes!

I've just receive an e-mail with a procedure and it works for me : I'm sorry you're unable to access the game. I'm going to recommend that you uninstall the game, making sure to remove your local files too (in case there's something in there which is causing this issue). Please follow the steps below:

First uninstall the game from your computer using 'Programs and Features' (or Steam's built-in uninstaller). Please be aware that this will mean you may have to download all game files again.
Find your game folder, you can find this here- Delete it
If "C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments" exists - Delete it
If "C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments" exists - Rename this folder to back up your user settings (note the _ present in the first directory)

Once completed, please restart your PC to clean up any leftover files. You can now re-install F1 Manager '23 as normal and hopefully you will find this issue no longer appears.

If there are still problems though please get back to us and we'll be happy to offer further support.

Hi all. Anyone experiencing an immediate crash on launch after the update, or getting frozen indefinitely on the first screen, please raise a support request with us here: https://formcrafts.com/a/f1manager
And include a copy of your save file, which can be found here: C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\F1Manager23\Saved\SaveGames

We're passing these along to development to help identifying the cause.

There are definitely some instances of this due to mods, but we're seeing a number without too so we need to get to the bottom of that : )

Hi everyone, since i make the update, i have the same problem than you, I reading approximately all the messages and after try everything like check file integrity, restart my PC, uninstall/re-install the game and also disconnect/re-connect to my Steam account and I deciced to delete the mods I have add and the game re-works, the crash of the game can be provoked by the mods

Yep deleting mods has helped many people

My NVidia card went crazy... I solved it by going to the NVidia website and downloading and installing the most recent update (which I actually already had installed). I basically overwrote the update and it worked.

Delete every file from your “Paks” file and then verify the game files on steam to restore the ones that that aren’t mods, and then only run mods that are post 1.6

and it should be absolutely fine
