🧡 McLAREN - Taking advantage of strategic mistakes
The second 1-2 in a row for McLaren. It didn't look super promising in the first stint - no matter how hard Norris pushed, Verstpapen was able to keep in his DRS. However, a huge mistake from Red Bull was that Verstappen was put onto Used Softs in the second stint, allowing Norris and eventually Sainz to breeze by. Norris gets P1, Sainz P2. Norris also claims the fastest lap, with a 1:28.881.

🟣 REDBULL - At least we beat Aston Martin
Redbull were hoping for a win today, however as previously mentioned their questionable strategy choices led to Verstappen only grabbing P3, meanwhile Perez gets p5.. however they break the points tie to Aston and are now leading them by 9 points.

🟢 ASTON MARTIN - Alonso regains his race pace
After a long streak of poor race pace from Alonso, after starting P6 he was able to work his way ahead of Perez and up into 4th. However still not a podium.. Stroll was chilling the whole race in 8th. Will stroll be the downfall of P2 for Aston?

🔴 FERRARI - "Where is the pace? - We are checking..
Once again a poor result for Ferrari, with piastri failing to score points down in p11 and Leclerc grabs p7. For such a talented driver, 7th means that Ferrari has definitely fallen off as a team ..

🔵 ALPINE - Goated Gasly ( @small oracle )
Bad luck from traffic in qualifying saw Gasly qualify all the way down in p19. However he didn't lose motivation and crawled his way amazingly up to p9, a 10 place gain to claim some much-needed points for Alpine. Ocon also gets a very good result, finishing p6. These 10 points in total allow Alpine to overtake Mercedes in the Constructors' Championship..

⚫ MERCEDES - He just fully turned into me!
The equally-matched Mercedes drivers once again collide early on in the race, the stewards decided that it was Hamilton's fault and gave him a 5 second time penalty. Both cars suffered damage, however Russell's was more severe. After pitting for a new front wing though, he worked his way up from p18 to p14, but still no points. Hamilton finished p10. Rivalry is definitely brewing in the mercedes garage.. could this be an issue in the future?
