#More Contract Negotiation Options

Look at Football Manager for some inspiration in this area but it would be nice to have some more in depth contract negotiation with additional clauses and things like that. A few examples of what I mean below:

  • Yearly wage rise clause
  • Points threshold wage rise clause
  • Number of Podiums wage rises
  • Number of Wins wage rises
  • Drivers/Constructors Champion wage rise
  • Drivers/Constructors Champion Bonus
  • Non performance wage drops
  • Optional Extensions
  • Wage after set number of races/years
  • Release clauses
  • Teammate Comparison Clauses (Drivers Only)
    - Qualifying Head to Head Bonus
    - Race Head to Head Bonus

These are just a few examples and I'm sure people could come up with a few more. I just think it would be nice to make contracts a bit more interesting and flexible and a lot more realistic. These clauses could apply to Both drivers and Staff.

I think there should be a degree or possibility that our drivers are potentially signed by other teams. Or at least something to consider.

Yes, I think the contract system in F1 Manager is way too barebones and simple. These suggestions might make it more interesting
