first season and pre-season tests?

first season should start from 1st of January, not 11 days before first race
and what about letting us managing pre-season tests?
choosing which drivers, work focus etc?

you cant manage pre season test even with new season so i don't see the point

they will not do it unnecessary tbf

players will select everything and just 16x skip

This is true, IMO we do need pre-season testing as a feature but we also need to make practice more relevant for development, understanding tires, stuff like that. Probably better to put that sort of thing in it's own suggestion though

I understand for newcomers playing they first career ever, starting Feb 20 is better: they wouldn't know what to do if they started Jan 1, but it could be a very good option to let chose the player which date to start from

well if you start jan 1st and use the bahrain performance then you can instantly make your car much more competitive than in rl which i think takes away the experince in s1
