I just found this YouTube video by NeroBax that shows how much tyre wear the option Avoid High Risk Kerbs saves. And the results are insane. It looks like there's over 50% tyre wear saved just from avoiding high risk kerbs, at a very minimal lap time loss. I'm fairly certain this needs to be rebalanced.

No

This is the only way to counter the AI's extreme tire pace

Actually, the lap time loss is relatively significant, it's just that you're saving a pit stop in the long term on a normally 2 stop track. You can see that they started going a notably faster per lap when he took it off at the end.

They are able to go full throttle the whole time and don't gain temperature while they player can usually only go on balance

It's track dependent, you loose 0.5-1 seconds of laptime, but the amount of the effect to tire temp and tire deg does seem out of hand. Since you can just avoid using this exploid I don't think it's a big deal tbh.

It should still probably be fixed, but lower priority

Definitly need to be fixed. Balance between the losed time and gains due the full attack mode and decreased Tyre wear isn’t right.
