There's so much modeled outside track limits in Chicago, its crazy
Yeah.. they quite literally just ported everything over from iRacing and called it a day.
Which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but the way they did it is
If they would've simply decreased the LOD, changed some things from 3d models to JPEGs etc,
Introduced anti aliasing, and graphics settings other than vsync.
GT7 does it just fine
Thats crap
It just needs to be more optimized
If other games can do it fine then NASCAR 25 should have no issue with it
Some devs have magic in coding
You just gotta find that magic
GT7 uses a game engine that has been optimized and stable for almost a decade. UE5 is the 'latest and greatest' and is an absolute nightmare when it comes to optimization. Removing unneeded assets like the boot would be an incredibly easy way to boost performance. The more assets you use, the worse it runs.
Yeah, the 'magic in coding' with UE5 is implementing generated frames.
I just believe more can be done without gutting part of the track
Its something i dont wanna lose because i like being able to do stupid things with games because its fun
You're not cutting part of the track... its unused, its out of bounds, its blocked by tire walls and vehicles, its useless
Having fun isnt useless
I like that tracks allow you to enter certain areas you previously never could
Most tracks DON'T allow you to drive around wherever you want. It was quite obviously just overlooked and a lazy port from iRacing assets. I would taking a steady 60fps over a part of the track I'll never use (or even see) any day.
I am on base ps5
And have had no issues
If its because you have a Series S, which is basically a PS4 pro
You should blame xbox for selling you crap hardware
The series S shouldnt even exist
Should have stayed as an Xbox One
Even devs have said the Series S is liks a bottleneck to the Series X because of its lack of power
If im wrong then about you having a Series S then i take back what i said
According to fps/resolution stress tests, both the Series X and PS5 can't run a steady 60fps without comprising resolution. Which I can attest to. As you've said.. "it just needs to be more optimized, if other games can do it, nascar 25 should have no issue with it" Well if Forza, GT7, ACC, etc etc.. can give me a steady 60fps without comprising resolution, then NASCAR 25' has to buckle down and figure it out.
And as you said
Its the latest and greatest
Gotta pick one dude
Base ps5 does reach 60 if you disable the mirror
My guess is something can be done with the mirror or some degree like that
I need to test if the mirror renders all the track
If it does then there is your performance loss
which all those titles achieved a steady 60fps without comprising resolution on the lower tier hardware btw..
tf you mean 'gotta pick one dude'? I want an optimized game, sorry if you want your out of bounds fun, but if it comes at the cost of optimization, i'm out. This is such a pointless conversation
He has a point yua. Its there on iracing and other games because other series on those games run it.
It isnt ran in nascar so therefore really doesnt need to be in the game. Its just more the game is having to render when it doesnt need to.
Yes its cool but its not really needed.
Chicago, theres 0 reason for us to need to go out and see a CVS pharmacy or drive where the haulers are in a straight road.
Dude thats right near a turn wall
You cant remove that part
Im talking about the actual drivable area
Rendering that area solid vs just an image there is more rendering the games having to do
Not saying dont make it 3d but make that area not drivable
The driveable area im not sure does much to performance
Its more or less what it needs to see
Its literally more areas the game is having to render as drivable areas
Any driveable area with 3D models and textures affects performance.......
Old games for example
Will unload things not in your view for example
Doesnt mean you can remove the buildings in chicago course
yeah, that's called a draw distance, which nascar 25 has....
Thats why older games would block off the inner loop of sanoma and just make it a graphic like picture showing where it was for example.
okay im done, absolutely clueless (not you Will)
You can glitch the older games there is detail there atleast in Thunder 04
Yea thunder 04 wasnt nearly as graphically upgraded or hardware upgraded like the new games are
Yea im about done. Guy has no clue how any of it works and just wants the stuff there cause its cool lol
Share the same feelings
If your gonna be that way then whatever
Because your literally arguing every point we try to tell you and dont understand lol
When you have MULTIPLE people telling you 1 thing and youre the only one saying something else....
Nope
Im done
Absolutely pointless
If other games can do it just fine then this game doesnt have an excuse to not do it
Maybe for this year since its still new
But no i dont care and im not changing my opinion
im reposting this thread, what a braindead take
THEY DONT RUN THE BOOT IN NASCAR. what part of that can you not get through your hard headed skull? There is absolutely 0 reason it should be available to run on here.
Chicago there is absolutely 0 reason to drive near the hauler,
Cota 0 reason to be able to run the long course when they dont run it anymore
Sanoma 0 reason to be able to run the inner loop when they dont run it anymore
Just because you dont agree doesnt make it braindead
I can say the same to you if you wanna play by those rules
Enjoy talking to yourselves
Im done
Waste of my time
Difference is through? Yours is actually pretty braindead, where as were giving you actual reasons and facts as to why and you just dont wanna listen
Lol typical cant admit to being wrong so ya dip 🤣
Yeah no, its a braindead take because no matter how many times I have to tell you how shitty UE5 and optimization is, you're more worried about your little out of bounds fun and saying wElL iF oThEr gAmEs CaN dO iT, tf outta here
Doesn't understand how different game engines work
Then buy a damn ps5
Stop playing on an series s
