Pit stops

This isn’t exactly a bug. When your about to do a green flag pit stop why not just select pit this lap. Then while on pit rode make the selections without it needing to pause. Since I am guessing we will always have the #1 stall there is enough time to make selections. Doing while driving is a pain as it stops you then you restart and hopefully don’t crash. Please make this adjustment.

Are you still out on the track or on pit road? I don’t want to be on the track trying to drive and adjust what I want. It’s like in F1 I always mess up when thumbing through

In a full / close to full race, anyone who is at the start of pitlane would not have time to adjust pit options, which is why I'd prefer not pausing the game at all (in single player) and just letting us adjust options while driving, not like every other racing game does that

You have minimal options anyway

Its not like an ACC pit stop trying to put on wet tires and change tire pressures

You would have the entire length of pit road having the front stall

Misunderstood my statement, if you have the last stall, you're at the front of the pits, first stall is pit entry

Just like in Heat 5. You just pull down on pit road having and while driving to the #1 stall you make your selections

Im saying whoever has the pit entry stall, wouldn't be able to adjust options in time

That's why you should be able to change settings just while driving

I would not want to be restricted to making my pit adjustments until on pit road. Im racing on a wheel so it's easy to do an on track adjustment

Yeah I wasn’t attaching you. I haven’t played online so I had not considered that when playing on you would not always be in the #1 stall which makes since. So I can understand that point

I am getting old. Can’t thumb through stuff and not crash at the same time. On F1 I always mess up trying to go through options

It is NASCAR, plenty of time to get something basic adjusted and could mix and match adjustment on and off pit road (If you add my suggestion to yours)

I personally don't see why they didn't do this to begin with since iRacing has had this for ages, pausing the game for a minor pit change is a bit too far imo

At least in single player they could give us an option to disable the pausing

It’s funny because when I first did this I thought cool I can adjust this and not drive at the same time. But then when I came out I almost crashed. Also in another race I was called in way too late. No way for adjustments

I personally just don't want to pause for the sake of keeping focus. So many full length cup races I want to run
