Not able to use bunx

when I am running this cmd bunx --bun shadcn-ui@latest add alert I am getting an error Script not found
Bun is installed in my PC, I have cross check that using the bun --version then why I am not able to use the bunx package runner.

[pearl crypt]

does bun instead of bunx work?
