Hello guys, I kinda need some advice. I’m starting school soon (12th September), and I’m a bit worried. At my school, people really like stealing others’ stuff some even openly admit it. Last year, in 8th grade, my whole pencil case was stolen, it didn't fall, I didn't forget it, it was stolen...

Today, when I bought new school stationery, I got some name tags for my pens and other items, but I’m worried it won’t be enough to protect my belongings. During two-hour classes, the teacher usually gives a 5-minute break around the middle of the lesson. Some students stay in class, but others go out, and sometimes people sneak in during that time and rummage through backpacks.

I can’t really tell the teachers because, while they acknowledge the problem, they just tell us to “keep our stuff safe” and “keep an eye on them.” The real issue is that there are times when we’re forced to leave our belongings unattended—like during swimming lessons or the 15-minute breaks.

i have a high sierra! its 37L, off of amazon if i remember correctly. fits a computer + charger, 4-5 notebooks, 2 binders, and a lunchbox (bulky stuff), then obviously the more trinket-like things. it has i think 5-6 pockets and the main compartment has a laptop sleeve, another sleeve (i stick notebooks in there) and then the main part where i put folders and my binders.
jansport used to have eh quality bags, but i've heard they've gotten better (the ones that are around $55), and they also have a lot of space, but kind of flimsy
north face is always a good option, but more on the expensive side, lots of organization

My parents won't get me a gym subscription, because they think I can "make do" with the small weights we have at home. 😭

The problem is, I only have 2 pound weights, 5 pound weights, 8 pound weights, 10 pound weights, and one 10 pound medicine ball.

How can I improve my ability?

I feel like I'm weaker than most other guys my age....

I'm not really into being masculine and muscular, but it's honestly embarrassing not being even strong enough to lift the lowest bench presses and deadlifts.

If it is easier for you to remember things then to understand them then you should go for law esp I think. I am the opposite (easier understanding than remembering things) so I want to become an aerospace engineer. In the end it's better that you are thinking about this now instead of later as I know multiple people who decided to switch their major while already studying.

I’m multimodal so I just apply certain things for certain subjects wherever it fits best

But for some reason conditions need to be met for it to actually work

Idk what the conditions are but I will randomly just lock in and be able to instantly understand anything

think you should do both. read the corresponding chapters in the barron’s book so that that the added detail and structure will solidify your understanding and cover any specifics not mentioned in the videos

huh well if youre passionate about it then you could basically just like, kind of change it, because it seems mostly focused on opinions, so we need to find something a bit more fact oriented that still correlates to your original topic

something a bit easier to find studies about, like the amount of people who watch sports movies that actively participate in sports, and relate that to how people view sports. for example, if you find a study that says 1 in five people who play sports enjoy sports movies/ or 4/5 people who play sports don't, you could infer that they might be a bad rep for sports. you could also find a study about mental health and bullying in athletics

maybe you could add to that (because its more opinion than fact) by relating it to how this affects they're mental health, or peoples view on athletes. for example (again lol): there's a lotof prejudice against female football players because football is perceived by most as a "masculine" sport, and this can negatively effect female football players mental health.

of course, if you have any ideas of problems that need fixing, you should use those, these are just examples that I think of when i think of problems in sports.
