Yall this is so random but do you think this is a flawed way to test if a substance is an acid , base or just neutral? I just want to know since it seems flawed using the type of litmus paper here because for example if your trying to see if it's an acid or neutral solution using red litmus paper the paper would both just stay red. So how are you supposed to know if it's an acid or it's just neutral? Since you can't touch the solution or well substance because it may be an acid and have corrosive properties which means it could burn your skin possibly etc. I just wanted to know before I go email my Natural Science teacher a very polite and totally professional complaint email and question the methods of the textbook.

Yeah, litmus paper isn't too helpful. It's more of like a rough gauge if the substance is an acid or base. We used universal indicators which are better. Red is more acidic, green is neutral and purple is base

The other one I remember doing is testing with other metals. (this takes longer and you need to use gas tests to confirm)
Like for example ^, when u mix acid with metal, it will produce hydrogen gas. And to test for hydrogen gas you need to light a wooden splint and then put it near the mouth of the tube. if there's that 'pop' sound, it means hydrogen gas is present and that it is indeed an acid. if there isn/t u need to perform the other tests (mix metal with the solution again and test for CO2 etc)

Man Arabic can be tricky, especially learning at an older age when you are not open to a lot of new things, you should write as you read, it will help you memorise the words and it will actually happen unconsciously, you don't think when speaking or reading, right I mean ofc we do but we don't actually manipulate a lot of it, like when we climb the stairs we don't actually have to see the stairs each time we take a step, it's subconscious, same is with language, try to just absorb it, it'll come to you naturally, and that phone idea... that's dead end don't do that, once I did it accidentally it took me days to finally reset my device. Just be natural wirh it and remember, you might think you have understood how to pronounce or write something, you actually haven't. Practice without logic, just recall how many times you did you alphabets before you were able to come here after ages and be able to type and speak and think altogether at the same time,
Just mindless practice, not only help you know a language, but be super fluent at it because if doing something new, be the best at it like you doing it for years.

I mean I learnt 5 languages, only 2 I'm fluent at and 2 I can understand, because they were subjects, I gave it if not less, then as much time as I gave to other subjects, given I was probably 10 at that time, it's mental hassasment, you don't do that mistake, language is something you carry till you die, it needs way more than you might imagine..... For me it's regrettable spending time then, and not having a single clue now, after 6-7 years..... Be real serious with it...

It feels like the mental health of our population is declining. I’ve talked to many people who just internalize their negative feelings because they don’t really have the capacity or energy to really sit down and think about it. My product aims to make it easier for people to get in touch with themselves to make their lives easier.
The invention:
A digital software that lets you record your thoughts daily (or whenever you remember to). You can go to a "summary" tab, where you can be shown an in depth summary of your mood throughout the week or month. You ask staff at your school on what AP classes they offer for freshmen and ask if you can sign up. If they don’t have any, you’re gonna have to self study for it (use resources online+textbooks+YouTube, etc) and take it at an nearby school (you should ask the school at the beginning of the year to see if you can take it bc there’s a deadline in November). On the college board website, there’s a course audit to search up what schools in your district offer the AP course you want to take.

*If you wanna take an AP course and exam as a freshmen, make sure you’re ready bc they’re college level. You have a lot to content to memorize.
*If you choose to self study, reconsider bc it requires a LOT of discipline (check college board for the standards of each AP course).

Suggestions:

• get a textbook for the course (MAKE SURE IT MATCHES IT AND IT’ AT UR LEVEL) or find a pdf of one online
• get a workbook or find a pdf online to do practice questions (PRACTICE QUESTIONS WILL SAVE U)
• do Khan Academy bc it has an international version. If you’re not in the US and can’t access the course, download the app or just search up the course on google (ex: AP Microeconomics Khan)
• Quizlet
• Find some online course programs that give prep or even teach you a course over the summer (for example, in Florida, there’s FLVS). However, make sure they align with course standards and ask your school to see if it can be added to ur transcript)

But generally if you want to take notes quickly and get good effect which is most people, do it while reading first time

if you don’t already, have a ti-84 + calculator. those are so helpful and will last you for years. an inspire is also nice, but i’ve heard of some tests not allowing those so if you want to be safe, an 84 is good. besides that get the basics and just wait until the year starts so that you know what you’ll need and not buy unnecessary stuff

I use lenovo and they are having a huge sale on lenovo laptops right now.

If you want an expensive lenovo you could get the one Gohar Mentioned in his newest short or you could just stick to basic laptop. Stick to basic if you are going to be doing nothing too physically demanding in terms of RAM.

You could go on Lenovo's website themselves or bestbuy.

If you are looking for a touchscreen laptop, the Microsoft surfaces are good or any microsoft laptop in general but these tend to be on the more expensive side. But you get what you pay for when it comes to microsoft.

Yes, but when I buy Iphone I tend to not get the pro because they are huge and I have no reason to spend that much on a phone. The only reason I see it justified is if you are a content creator and need the extra space and camera quality or are doing good and have the money to afford it

I just get like Iphone 14 not pro or pro max

But it all comes down to personal preference

I use verizon. I have some relatives that use t-mobile. I use verizon because it works best where I live.

T-mobile works better in the northeast and stuff but I live in the middle of nowwhere literally

I live in southern Arizona. T mobile doesn’t work as well out here. Well I barely have service anywhere out here even with Verizon. Both sides complain here

Im going to high school here, so do i have to study the other subjects like Physics or can I continue studying what I’ve been studying in my country?
