for beginners, GENERALLY it's really hard to make a sound on the flute at the start

especially if you don't have experience with wind/brass instruments already

if you need help, you can always dm me (i've had band experience on the flute and soprano sax, each for 5 years)

it's going to be slightly easier because you already know how to read notes, but be aware that cello notes tend to be lower on the staff while flutes are usually up high (so make sure you're good with ledger line stuff)

Sit in the front of class to limit distractions.
Turn off your phone when doing homework. This limits distractions too.
Talk with your teacher about your ADHD. Some students with ADHD need extra time to take tests. Some need smaller class sizes or a quiet place to complete work. Others need a tutor. Ask your teacher to help you plan and do what's right for you.
Use tools that help you stay organized. Keep track of assignments in a planner or on a phone app. List things you need to bring home. Set phone reminders for classes and activities, or write them in a planner.
Get plenty of exercise. Daily exercise can improve attention and school performance for people with ADHD. It also keeps your positive emotions flowing.

I know that i will never meet anyone here irl (98%), so lemme state my problem knowing that here nobody would affect me irl, i go to a coaching ( or say school ), there the classes are there from 9am to 1:20 pm, the school doesn’t give any bus services and it is located 18 km away from my nearest bus stop, the bus stop is 1.75km away from my home, so every morning whenever there is class, i wake up at 6:30 am and get ready till 7:15 am then i go from my home to the nearest bus stop ( takes me about 10 mins ) the bus system is not fix, so i sometimes do taxi, it takes me about 1 hr to get there, then i have to walk about 1km to get to the coaching, now the time is 8:30 - 8:45, now i attend the classes and then after resolving all the doubts related to the topics i head to the nearest bus stop of the coaching, i have to walk 1km, the time now is 1:30 pm, now i sometimes get the bus to home otherwise i do taxi, takes about 1.25 hours, then i walk to home , now the time is 2:45 - 3:00, now i rest and eat dinner till 4:00 then i start studying from 4 - 9 :30 then i eat dinner, after eating dinner, i study from 10 to 11:30, then i sleep till 12, and again wake up at 6am and the cycle continue,

My problem is exhaustion and less study hours, i am able to study only 4+7 = 11 hours, whereas, if the transport is reduced i can study for 13-14hours, please give suggestions to improve my timetable for more study hours and tips for not being exhausted will be appreciated

For English there's Jekyll and Hyde, Macbeth, an inspector calls, poetry and then language.

Use different and smart techniques to study. U have the whole of April left and also make a revision timetable and stick with it. Try study with friends so they can help fill any knowledge gaps u r missing. Also do practice questions for help. In the end, GCSEs don't matter too much because they only set a foundation for your A levels. Good luck!

Even though I did have a little prior knowledge of English, it wasn't enough for me to completely understand or speak to native English speakers, so my family and I were studying English as much as possible by reading books and memorizing vocabulary during free time. Thankfully, now I am fully capable of understanding and speaking, as well as writing in both languages, Korean and English. I'm 15 and attending my local high school with my supportive peers around me. I wanted to find some volunteer work that I could work remotely while helping people effectively. I found this form in the Khan Academy and to my surprise, it was what I was just looking for. My advantage of biliteracy was finally could be used for helping people. I love using Khan Academy for my academic uses, for it sincerely helps my academic work and lets me understand certain concepts better. I found Khan Academy while I was searching related biology articles, and I specifically remember that Khan Academy's formatting skills were very immaculate, straight forward, and I could see that the articles in Khan Academy made it appealing for the readers to read at ease. I want students to not give up their precious time just because they are not able to read these truly valuable resources due to the language barrier. I was one of those kids once, it is very hard and challenging. I don't want anyone missing out on academic resources just because it does not apply to them. I hope I can make even a tiny positive impact on this community with my very best ability.
