This is not a debate anymore. This is mind games.

On top of this mind game, think about your opponent's moves. What moves do you most expect from your opponents? What arguments do you think they will have?

"Math should not be taught in our mother tongue because it will leave students dependent on the language when it is used outside of their home country"

And then you jab in with a statistics "80% of mathematicians found a career within their home country"

BOOM, their argument is invalidated and now they look stupid.

Finally, at the end of your debate, there is a closing statement. The number one thing that people forget is they don't cite their evidence.

The reason for citing evidence is so that your argument seem valid and supported

You want to convince your audience that you're more competent than your opponent

And that you're not pulling things out of your ass

This is comparable to that of a court case. Whenever a lawyer cites a case from previous rulings, they say something like "Kennedy, J.F. 1969"

It makes your argument feel like there are some foundation and it is backed up from researches, philosophers, idealists, students

As Shadow has said, Confidence is key. You don't want to stutter, you don't want to look stupid. Show no remorse to your opponents and make sure that they regretted the day they tried to argue with you about not tutoring students in their mother tongue.
