I would say do both. The psat is like a practice to the sat, but still do your best on it. The ACT scores are part of what colleges look for, but the importance of test scores for colleges has gone down recently due to the circumstances the last few years.

I'd suggest using 2 or 3 reliable sources such as CNN, new york times, insider etc to cross reference info. Make sure to understand the more details too, such as the politics behind it, why the FBI conducted the raid, what was discovered, statements made by officials, etc. Understand the points of both sides. Think of possible ways the opponent can rebut your points and structure your speed so that it'll be hard to rebut

since it's only 1m, get straight to your argument, i've only done 5 minute speeches for debates so I'm not too sure about advice to condense the info into 1m

Focus a LARGE portion of your speech essentially saying "I understand you and I hear your voices/concerns. (of course don't type that, it's the general idea of what it should be).

Since it's a student election, and especially since you're going for a student representative position, saying you have above average grades will make the students who are average/below average feel unincluded and not represented.

Band takes 3 hrs after school every day and one of those days It takes 7 hrs.(But most of those days are Fridays or Thursdays and the ones on Thursday they ask teachers to not give assignments) and I have cricket on a day and carnatic music a da, I feel it hard to do school work without having to work till 1 am

Try bullet note taking. Forces you to paraphrase but add a line in between in case of any needed annotation/clarification. And for vocabulary try Word-Simple Definition

Honestly, the best way to improve your handwriting is just writing. There's no way to magically retrain your fingers instantly, especially if you've been writing for a while. If the mess you're talking about is more in terms of spacing between sentences (not words) or boxes or headers or something like that, then maybe you could plan out where to write everything before you start writing?

try these:

• holding the writing utensil by the tip for better control
• letters that have a main body (a, b, d, g, o, p, and q) must be completely closed (the round part)
• for spacing issues, put a pencil/pen in between each word
• uppercase letters should be bigger than lowercase letters
• all uppercase letters should be consistent
• main body should be consistent
• letter alignment should be parallel with the horizontal line
• ascender (parts with like the top lines) should be clear and consistent in size, along with descenders (bottom parts of letters)
• prevent tangled letters by making sure ascenders and defenders not too long
• don’t mix slants
• slants are leftward, rightward, or upright (no slant), and
• don’t overdo slanting
