@warm rampart so what else is interesting about your school?
hmm
the kids are lowkey racist af
indians?
since its all girls its not sexist granted
Same
oh
Ya’ll ever get bomb threats?
acc the teachers r also lowkey racist
Yuh
nooo lmao not THAT kinda racist
they all talk though
more subtle
Fr
Same
the school don't care anymore
someone said i looked like a terrorist when i wore a black jacket over a white hoodie (im muslim) 😭
What about race wars?
🙏
Is your name Muhammad?
isn't she a girl
im a girl 👍
thank you lmao
Girls can’t be named Muhammad?
Lowkey though it was gender neutral name for some reason 💀
Muhammette
LMAOO
i dont get that a lot
its tazzi
Like Tzasiki sauce?
ive never heard that name
since idk ANYONE w my name if u come to ny and hear abt someone w my name 9.999/10 chance its me
Ok ima stop being racist 💀
Bro is coming up with the most random connections
not a lot of people in usa with my name also
which is why i wont say
its because its very african
Is it Okonkwo?
no
Black Panther?
yes my name is black panther
I’m such a big fan
thank you
Can I have your signature?
sure
Thanks
Btw do your friends call you the “bomb”?
In my school, BC uses AB as fundamentals to more complicated mathematical applications. Whilst AB lays the groundwork. Kinda how Algebra 1 lays foundation for Algebra 2.
BC is definitely harder for sure. Has much harder concepts
Yooooo I did the same thing lol
And doubled up on AB and BC freshman year
Bro is gonna to ivies fs
dang
That would be cool but everyone I know my whole life has been telling me that’s it’s impossible and the odds are too slim idk what to think 😭😭😭
They all haters
With the classes u took u can ez get into ivies
Ez?! Idk bout that
Just cuz I took sum classes early
Bro calc ab and bc is meant for juniors and seniors
Ur way ahead
U can easily take college level math
Which looks rly good on apps
Idk what to ngl. Sophomore year I’m planning on doubling up on AP Physics C Classes but I’m too scared to take those in the same year as a higher level math course like Differential EQ’s + Linear Algebra so I’m just doing AP Statistics
Bro that itself is insanely impressive to colleges
If u dont get into ivies. I bet u still will get into t20s or t30s
Tf 💀
Bro gonna skip 3 years of college
Im actually so confused now
Does anyone know how Duel Enrollment stuff works? Can I take any college courses or is it just a select few? And what is the criteria to join?
Dual Enrollment is u take college courses but its from your community college, you can take most im p sure and for my school u have to be a junior or senior to do it
Same with mine
Is it suggested?
Like does it boost college apps?
Same like AP imo
Does dual enrollment transfer nation wide? Cause I’ve heard that it only transfers to the community college you took the classes at? If so what’s the benefit besides a gpa boost?
Are you talking about transferring from 2 to 4 year college? For most colleges the they transfer the credit rather than the grade.
it only transfers to some schools. you'll have to check your cc specifically to see where you can transfer credits to. other than the GPA boost, it also shows colleges you're interested in truly studying further in specific subjects
is there a difference in taking ap courses vs ib courses if i were to aim for a school within the us
I have a doubt
My school doesnt offer AP Classes but I can take them separately like only the exams
But the Exams also cost a ton so should I take the Exams? If I don't take then will it affect my college chances
Does anyone know what the advanced diploma actually gets you in America? I took standard freshman year but plan to go in all advanced this sophomore year, and I wanna make sure I’m not doing it for nothing
They didn't let me do that sadly.
How did bro get muted 💀
What you tryna major in?
which district you go
nvm bro got muted
hes from india check his bio hes tryna go iit
i say take ib if ur tryna go iit ig but sure if u think u will ace the exam go ahead and take it
ap helps for schools in the us idk abt abroad i think ib is better abroad like in india
To do ap exam here international would be a big budget
true true
if hes good enough tho its worth it
And your international the colleges won’t need you to do American Curriculum but if you smart and have budget go ahead
true
he js needs to have a good jee
and upsc
etc
Is this a good schedule for a freshman??
Dang chemistry toooo
Yeah I’m doing Physics C Mechanics and Physics C E&M 😭😭😭
I’m still trying to decide if I want to take physics C, AP lit, or both
What grade r u going into?
Senior year
its ok
why are you taking geometry and algebra 2
I’m going to be a sophomore
Wants to double up ig
bro how do u guys get your schedules so early
i get mine literally 4 days before the first day of school💀💀💀💀
i dont even get mine till the first day for high school i know college stuff like 2 months in advance
i got my schedule a few days ago
I get mine tomorrow
I don't know when I get mine.
I have my classes already though.
Just not the order.
Hey guys, I’m looking for advice here. I’m an incoming sophomore and I took AP Calc AB & BC freshman year and am wondering what my next step up is. Currently I’m signed up for both AP Physics C Mechanics & AP Physics C E&M but for math I have AP Stats.
Is it ok for me to go from Calc to Stats? Or should I take “Differential Equations and Linear Algebra” (one class)?
I’m worried I will not be able to handle doubling up on Physics C + DFEQ. Pls help 🙏
calc AB/BC freshman year is fucking wild
There was 5 freshman in my BC class 😭😭😭
Does bro go to Harvard westlake or somethin
I’m in high school tho
doing stats is fine
you have to remember that even though it may seem like an easier class, it's still an AP class meaning it's still advanced
esp since you have both phys Cs, you def want to take something on the "easier" side for math
Thank you I will keep that noted
Do you think I should just take DFEQ Junior Year?
With Enriched Chemistry + AP Bio + APUSH + AP COGO + AP Macro + AP Psychology + AP Seminar?
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
That’s the plan ig
Dawg why you taking all those aps
Also how do yall have so much space in your schedule
literally my question too
my school doesn't let me go above 6
Me 7
What?!
Yall just lucky fr
yeah and for freshman year even though i have the prereqs done i can't do anything above alg 2
I was gonna take at least AP precalc
My sophomore year schedule includes the following courses:
- AP Physics C Mechanics
- AP Physics C E&M
- AP Statistics
- AP European History
- Health Education
- Biomedical Biology
- English 10
- Spanish Language 3
We don’t talk about that 😭😭😭
You prob still cooked
I wish I could have my schedule look like that
Fr
mines literally the easy classes cuz my school limits them
For my school it all depends on your counselor
Some students have stricter ones than others
My state allows people to take an exam over summer to get the cred for the course
That’s how I’m doing ap precalc freshman
What is the last one?
lucky
Bro my school as so many requirements too
my school doesn't allow thst
like rotc but for high schoolers
Ohh
Like fine arts, physical ed, health, 4 years of each core subject, communications, etc.
i was gonna ask if you guys think that'll help or hurt my college apps
My grad req r crazy
mine too
Jrotc?
yea
Wdym
I heard some schools let you take whatever or double math classes or sum
Mine has doubling
Depends if you’re doing it for a grad req , no but if you are pursuing it for a diff reason also no for most possibilities but might be a yes
Yes we get the flex gang
yea but i wouldn't be able to fit it in my schedule cuz my school only has 6 classes a day
Jk I know you not flexing
Same
oh ok ty
Mine only has 4 classes a day
yea but your school alternates between days right
mine doesn't
Nah it’s based on semesters
Ohh
yea so i can't take that many classes
should replace one of my ap classes for student council?
.
I have questions for you all.
I'm currently a senior at my high school and I plan on taking aerospace engineering as my major, I currently take regular pre calculus. There is an option to take AP precalculus but majority of the class taking Ap precal is juniors.
- Should I take AP Precal instead of Prevail?
- Can I still get accepted to college for my course without using AP Precal?
- Could I take Calculus in college?
First I m also interested in aeronautics bcz I m also a rocket science lover
If I were you so I would take a tour of AP Precal and prevail and decide what is better and what is not.
Second you should take calculus in college for more improvement so you could understand better in aerospace classes.
Remember you shouldn't get stuck in Math in college bcz I remember I was reading the famous book called "Rocket propulsion and elements" books there was a whole bunch of Calculus equation and other topics were included so you should be prepared for that.
I hope that helps you😇
So even if I dont take Ap math classes, I can still get accepted to college?
Yup this your choice not colleges
Because they only wanna see how smart you are in your subjects
Or this could be important to learn AP math like in other colleges they look at your performance mostly so be prepared for that.
(I realizes that so soon)
People who are going in engineering have to be prepared than other majors
Best Part : You could get rid of Student debt and get financial aid. If you get much points in AP classes than this your own advantage
When you said about the word "AP" than there is always a positive feedback around students
what’s the difference between information technology and computer science?
Generally, computer science refers to designing and building computers and computer programs. Information technology, on the other hand, refers to maintaining and troubleshooting those computers and their networks, systems, and databases to ensure they run smoothly
You can watch this for more information
Difference between them is :
Computer science is the study of computers and computational systems. It is a broad field which includes everything from the algorithms that make up software to how software interacts with hardware to how well software is developed and designed.
Whereas :
Information technology is the use of computer systems or devices to access information. Information technology is responsible for such a large portion of our workforce, business operations and personal access to information that it comprises much of our daily activities.
You can have their better examples in youtube. They will you about it.
that was perfect thank you
Hi, i want to be a mechanical or aeronautical engineer to then have a job in the f1 industry. I’m looking to plan ahead and I’m unsure what to pick as an undergraduate study. I also want to know if I would need a masters or a bachelor degree and which one would be better
First of all you should know about the difference between mechanical and aeronautical engineering :
Mechanical engineering deals with understanding how things work, from the tiniest micro-particle to the largest spacecraft, and even the human body—one of our most complex machines. It is the broadest of all engineering disciplines, and interdisciplinary work is key to our department's success.
Aeronautical / Aerospace engineering is an advanced field of engineering that focuses on the design, development, testing and maintenance of aircraft and spacecraft. It encompasses both aeronautical engineering (which pertains solely to aircraft) and astronautical engineering (which focuses on spacecraft).
Now let see what these degrees contribute in terms of getting a job in F1 industry
Mechanical engineering :
Core Focus: Mechanical engineering provides a broad understanding of engineering principles, focusing on the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Relevance to F1:
This degree is particularly useful for roles related to the design and optimization of various mechanical components such as the chassis, suspension, brakes, and transmission systems. Mechanical engineers in F1 often work on improving the overall vehicle dynamics, ensuring that components can withstand the stresses of high-speed racing, and optimizing systems for weight and performance.
Potential Roles:
Mechanical engineers may work as design engineers, performance engineers, or in R&D, focusing on areas like aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
Aerospace engineering :
Core Focus: Aerospace engineering is more specialized, focusing on the design, development, and testing of aircraft and spacecraft, with a strong emphasis on aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and materials used in high-stress environments.
Relevance to F1:
While F1 cars are not aircraft, the aerodynamics of a car is crucial for performance, particularly in how the car handles at high speeds and how downforce and drag are managed. Aerospace engineers bring expertise in fluid dynamics, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), and materials that are often used in the aerospace industry but are also critical in F1 for optimizing the car's aerodynamic profile.
Potential Roles:
Aerospace engineers might work in aerodynamic departments, focusing on wind tunnel testing, CFD simulations, and designing components like wings, diffusers, and other bodywork that affects the car's airflow.
Next up the difference and benefits of Bachelor and master degree in these majors
Difference:
A bachelor's degree is an undergraduate qualification, it's typically the first degree you study after high school. A master's degree, on the other hand, is a postgraduate degree, meaning you typically would have studied some level of higher education to be eligible.
please can someone tell me which is better
computer science or software engineering
Benefits of getting Bachelor degree (by his own reason)
Job Market Entry: A bachelor’s degree is often the minimum requirement for many professional roles. With a clear understanding of your career goals, you can select a degree that best prepares you for the job market.
Practical Skills: You can focus on developing specific skills and knowledge that will be directly applicable in your desired field, giving you a competitive edge.
Networking Opportunities:
Building a Professional Network: By pursuing a degree that aligns with your interests, you’ll naturally connect with like-minded peers, professors, and industry professionals, building a network that can be valuable in your future career.
Financial Independence:
Early Entry into Workforce: Completing a bachelor’s degree allows you to enter the workforce sooner, providing you with financial independence and the ability to start building your career early.
Benefits of getting a master degree (by his own reason)
Specialized Learning: A master’s degree allows you to delve deeper into your field of interest, gaining specialized knowledge and expertise that can set you apart in your profession.
Research Opportunities: If you’re passionate about a particular topic, a master’s program provides the opportunity to conduct in-depth research and contribute new insights to your field.
Career Advancement:
Higher Earning Potential: Master’s degree holders often command higher salaries and are eligible for more advanced positions within their field.
Leadership Roles: With a master’s degree, you are better positioned for leadership and management roles, as the degree signifies a higher level of expertise and commitment.
"Summary"
Both degrees offer unique opportunities for career development, personal growth, and intellectual fulfillment, tailored to your individual goals and interests.
Which is Better?
Computer Science might be better if you’re interested in a broader and more theoretical understanding of computing, with the flexibility to explore various fields within technology.
Software Engineering could be better if you’re focused on developing and managing software products, with an emphasis on applying engineering principles to create reliable software systems.
Ultimately, both degrees can lead to successful careers in tech, but your choice should align with your personal interests and career aspirations.
ok thank you
No problem my friend
Thank you so much bro, i’ve got a couple question if you don’t mind.
If i choose to do mechanical engineering bachelors, once i’ve finished that, can i then do a post graduate for aerospace?
What would you suggest is the better overall job in formula 1 i should do: mechanical side or the aerodynamics side? My main things are that it would be at home although i wouldn’t mind if it was at an office, a decent bit of travel and good pay.
Sure. You can do both mechanical and aerospace engineer both.
If your resume is perfect, then after 5-6 years you can also become a CTO (Chief technology officer) of your job
Second mechanical engineering is a whole degree so you should focus on that particular stuff although you can find some courses on "aerodynamics" in "coursera, edX, udemey (they mostly give paid courses but they are also overrated)" much more.
And yeah you can also self-taught yourself because all of this conclusion is that "DEGREE IS NOT WORTH" if you think you can learn mechanical and aerospace by yourself. If you trust yourself. Because not all degree are useless some of them taught us a really good lesson in class and we learn new things like (Some practical stuff) that can give us a little bit of experience.
If I left something behind please do let me know👍
If I choose to get an aeronautical degree, from what i’ve seen, the course is mainly on stuff about airplanes and spacecraft so would this be of any problem and would i be able to apply the same stuff in f1?
I mean what you have said is correct. So I think your main focus should be on mechanical engineering the other things that include in aeronautical engineering is very less.
It is like :
Mechanical engineering : 90%
Aeronautical engineering : 10%
So you can find different courses in the internet about "What should we learn in F1 car when we learn aeronautics"
Filter out in google. Search every bit of thing you can.
Remember you should learn mechanical engineering for better understanding in F1 cars and have a deep-knowledge on it
I think it would be a little bit problem to lean aeronautical engineering because what you have said is correct. It is only for planes and rockets not for cars
Yeah
ap psychology or ap seminar
psych
i think for seminar its required of you to take the course before doing the exam
If I wanted to take calc bc before senior year in my school it would require me to take algebra 2 over the summer but algebra 2 hn is not offered over the summer. How bad would this affect my transcript/gpa
it shouldn't be too bad
For me we can just skip the course and just get the credit so the course rigor doesn’t matter
bruh so u can just skip alg 2 and get that free credit ?
Nah
Have to take 2 exams
But they aren’t on a rigorous difficulty
Zamn.
oh ok
Anyone here studying Biology right now in college?
I’m trying to to my VCE exam early but my school won’t let me, I have done a mock exam before and I was fine I’m in year9 btw and VCE is basically like a year 12 exam in Australia
Wdym by how does it affect your gpa?
How does whether or not u take Algebra 2 affect your gpa
Not much
I have the same problem as you but with pre calc
is 9th grade global history honors a hard class
is taking pre-calc-trig honors in junior good?
anythings good man i mean ur gonna find people that take honors calc their freshman year but as long as ur doing all u can ur good
Ok, thanks!
My weighted gpa
As it isn’t honors or ap
its gonna differ by a couple points possibly
yea not here alg 2 is a pre req to precal
Ohh
How badly would it affect my gpa if I took alg 2 instead of honors (only normal course that ill take not as an honor as my school doesn’t offer the honors version over the summer)
unweighted it won't matter
which is the gpa colleges look at
but you' weighted gpa will be affected
so if u wanna be valedictorian or smth itll be harder
nah valedictorian aint my thing i just wanna be able to take cal bc before senior year
put me ahead of 80% of the freshmans
huh
calc bc u will be junior year right
why comparing to freshman then
i’m looking for an extra ap to do in senior year, should I do ap csp, ap cs a, or ap art history
if you have no cs or programming exp, go for apcsp
if you do, apcsa is better
however, if you want to major in arts/humanities, do ap art history
id suggest taking ap precalc as a freshman. thats what i did last year and now im in bc but you could still do ab as a sophomore then bc as a junior
Don't you need to know Alg. 2?
My school makes it a requirement 😔
unfortunately some school don't allow freshman to take AP precalc
Dang that’s tough
mine doesn't allow me to take calc until at least junior year either
Summers almost over…
alr tysm
yes i took that in 8th grade
yea...
thats awful
literally preventing you from being ahead
yea
How cooked am I? How many hours of work would I have? I'm gonna be a junior
AP Pre-calc
AP Chem
AP World
AP Lang
AP Gov
AP Mac
chem will be your hardest class
as for hours of work it will vary by teacher
i took 8 aps as a junior and somehow lang was the one that almost killed me
i just hate writing so i would procrastinate
real
i don’t think art history is for me as i wanna go into a stem field (biochemistry), but between ap csp and cs a; i’ve had some experience with programming, so how much experience do i need to do cs a, at least according to you
I like know much about these stuff 🤣
How do you know so much?
I m really interested in rocket science so I was searching a specific degree for that and I got bunch of different degrees in engineering like (aeronautics, mechanical, sometimes electrical engineering) after a lot of information I didn't realized that I was searching for it like for 2-3 years
That's how I think I CAN learn rocket science without having a degree
If I m focused enough to teach myself
But this doesn't mean college is USELESS
You make new friends and have a party with you make connection with your majors friend your hostel friend or apartment friends
And a lot more.......
So this could be useful in college
Abd if you say about degree so it isn't worth it
Are you in or will go to college? Did you start self teaching yet?
how comfortable are you with basic coding concepts
Oh I m learning this right now first I wanna reach to Calculus so that I could read rocket science books
Hey guys just curious on your thoughts on which is harder AP World History vs. AP European History
Yes I will go to college
Having a bit of experience of that
like if you understand quite a bit and would be comfortable solving easy/intermediate questions go for apcsa
but if you're also willing to put in a little more work, you can still do apcsa without apcsp
it will just be def harder
What resources do you use to teach yourself Calculus?
Oh just take some books to read about their equation
Are you simply studying or is it for the AP test?
Nah just for information
Which is Harder?
AP World History might be harder if you struggle with covering a wide range of content and making global connections.
AP European History might be harder if you prefer broad overviews rather than deep dives into specific topics.
Conclusion: The difficulty largely depends on your interests and study habits. If you enjoy a global perspective and connecting different cultures, AP World History might suit you better. If you prefer focusing on European events and their detailed impacts, AP European History might be more engaging.
ok ty, even though cs a sounds more fun, i’ll have enough challenging classes to take that year so i’ll go with csp, thanks again
AP world covers a broader spectrum of topics while AP euro covers more specific attributes to European history
think about it like quantity of info vs quality of info imo
I would say start with a conceptual summary of the course
Ok thnx bro
yeah fs
Tysm
Thx
I never took apcsp, but I had a friend that took it. He said there was a lot of vocab. As for apcsa, in my school it was Java and it was pretty easy. For background I had a year of experience with Python before I took the class
it's always java
for apcsa
Be sure to watch it will guide you about the AP exams how they are so much helpful👍
👌
does any of you think its possible if i try to do ap chem with very minimal chem knowledge prior
i know it'll be hard but is it doable
Yeah it will be
But I think there a solution if you learn the core basics and a little bit hard questions of them
Yes, it's possible to succeed in AP Chemistry with minimal prior knowledge, but it will require dedication, hard work, and perhaps a bit of extra study time to build the foundation that others might already have. If you're motivated and willing to put in the effort, you can do well.
Pre-study Before the Course Begins:
Familiarize yourself with basic chemistry concepts, such as the periodic table, chemical equations, atomic structure, and basic stoichiometry. There are plenty of online resources, such as Khan Academy or Crash Course Chemistry, that can help you build a foundation.
Stay Organized and Seek Help Early:
If you decide to take the course, make sure you stay organized with your notes, and don't hesitate to seek help from your teacher or classmates when you don't understand something.
Practice, Practice, Practice:
Regularly practice problem-solving, especially in areas like chemical calculations, which are key to mastering AP Chemistry.
since my school has grade limitations set in place for certain courses should/could i ask for an exemption for ap chem?
tysm
Requesting an exemption is certainly worth trying if you’re passionate about taking AP Chemistry and believe you can succeed. Present your case thoughtfully, and make sure you're prepared to follow through on the commitment.
yeah ty
If Approved:
You’ll need to work hard to catch up on any foundational knowledge and stay on top of the course material. Being proactive in seeking help and resources will be key.
If Denied:
Consider taking a different course that you’re qualified for and use the year to strengthen your chemistry knowledge independently. You could then take AP Chemistry the following year or in a summer program.
Understand the Requirements:
Make sure you fully understand the specific grade limitations or prerequisites for AP Chemistry. Know why they are in place, as this will help you make a stronger case for your exemption.
Evaluate Your Reasons:
Reflect on why you want to take AP Chemistry. Is it because of a strong interest in the subject, a career goal, or a challenge you're eager to take on? Be clear about your motivation, as you'll need to articulate this to your school.
Gather Evidence of Your Ability:
Even if you don't meet the formal prerequisites, gather evidence that shows you are capable of handling the course. This could include:
Strong grades in math or other science courses.
Previous independent study or summer courses in chemistry.
A demonstrated ability to work hard and overcome academic challenges.
Talk to Your Current Science Teacher:
Discuss your interest in AP Chemistry with your current science teacher. If they believe you are capable, they might be willing to write a recommendation or support your request for an exemption.
Prepare Your Request:
When you're ready, write a formal request to the appropriate school administrator, such as the AP Coordinator or your guidance counselor. In your request, include:
Your reasons for wanting to take the course.
How you plan to prepare for the course given your current level of knowledge.
Any supporting evidence, such as recommendations from teachers.
Be Ready to Commit:
If your exemption is granted, be prepared to commit extra time and effort to succeed in the course. Let the school know that you are aware of the challenges and are ready to take on the responsibility.
yeah cuz i want to take both AP chem and AP phys but i won't have room if i don't take chem earlier
Interesting
So you have to look both subjects different requirements to study in AP
yea i know
OH Boy .......
This is a really good question you had asked to me😅
yea thx for your help
No problem
hmm, that’s helpful as I have done about a 1/3 of a python course before, so if i can finish it, it should be easy then
i still have 3 yrs until then so i should be good
Yup your situation is way better than me 😅
Yeah idk why but the thought of taking AP classes really stresses me out lol
I am looking to major in Civil Engineering and wonder if it would be better to take APES or AP CSA
I'm confused between Astrophysics and Aerospace engineering
Both AP Environmental Science (APES) and AP Computer Science A (AP CSA) can be valuable, but their relevance depends on your interests and the aspects of civil engineering you're most passionate about.
AP Environmental Science (APES):
This course will give you a strong foundation in environmental issues, sustainability, and the impact of engineering projects on the environment. It’s especially relevant if you’re interested in environmental engineering, sustainable design, or working on projects that deal with natural resources, water management, or urban planning.
AP Computer Science A (AP CSA):
This course focuses on programming and computational thinking. It’s increasingly important in civil engineering for tasks like modeling and simulation, data analysis, and using software tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, and other engineering applications. If you're interested in the technical and design aspects of civil engineering or want to gain programming skills, AP CSA could be very useful.
"If you're more inclined towards environmental aspects of civil engineering, APES might be the better choice. If you're interested in developing technical skills and software proficiency, AP CSA could give you an edge."
What is Astrophysics ?
It encompasses the study of matter, energy, and their interactions. Astrophysics focuses on celestial bodies and the cosmic phenomena that shape the Universe. Astrophysics applies physics principles to understand the behaviour and properties of astronomical objects.
What is aerospace engineering ?
Aerospace engineering is an advanced field of engineering that focuses on the design, development, testing and maintenance of aircraft and spacecraft. It encompasses both aeronautical engineering (which pertains solely to aircraft) and astronautical engineering (which focuses on spacecraft)
Summary :
Astrophysics: Focuses on understanding the universe through science.
Aerospace Engineering: Focuses on building and improving vehicles and technology for flight and space exploration.
I got the exact same ans from ChatGpt
yeah I copy that
But in my opinion is that astrophysics is more of study of the Galaxy
And aerospace is more of an interest in rockets and planes and missiles
Both have the same job opp
You can do both
Like a Bsc In astrophysics and a MSc in Aerospace engineering?
You can include in your single major it's fine
Yeah thats more a plan-based thing
Like double major?
This is a good plan
Yeah sure you can do both
Like a Bsc In astrophysics and a MSc in Aerospace engineering?
This?
Yup
My plan is to get as many aps done as possible and then focus on Clep and dsst then hopefully get into Vanderbilt university get my 4 year in maybe 1-2 and then focus on my jd law school and get it done cutting a decade of hard work into 4
- bachelors but that’s quick via online
Does it seam like a lost cause
No I watched that guy a long time ago
oh ok than forget about it
I watched it when I was discovering this loophole
It is possible for you
Maybe if u try hard enough
Watch this this can help you
But you don't have to miss a single class on that particular major
exactly
Like you have search this on College board and filter out every single college they accept
It is a website in google
College board
Because the uni he went to was a state college and that’s not up to my mom standards
Ok I will try that this server is sooooooo helpful thank you
Oh so you have to try enough to get Financial aid
This can lower your cost of uni
AP is for getting rid of student debt
And save a lot of money
Always being a pleasure
Yah I plan on not getting any parental help and working in high school so this will lower my load by a lot
Thanks @odd hazel
Or get a small job in your teens
Yah that’s what I was thinking any recommendations
This could also give you an experience
Like McDonalds or mall or target
Your welcome @thick thorn
DON'T GET A JOB IN MC,DONLADS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
What’s wrong they pay good don’t they
You can get job in Wal Mart
Ok that sounds good too
Oop that sounds bad
So you would be crying in the corner bcz didn't go a job
I don't want you to be like that
There won’t be demand for code writers or in person people anymore
It’s a sad future
AGI is coming and I m planning to get over to it
So thats why I m also learning AI to think about future
Ur amazing my guy wanna be friends
That could be good enough for our people and economy
sure
Yup
Yes definitely
I gtg to bed what time is it in ur part of the world
See if AI si too much dangerous than we could make it's opposite version of it
Think about it
Yup
Oh I m form Asia Pakistan
Hindi
Where you from
Ok Namaste
I will also come to America for study abroad
Nice dude
Oh on top of Lahore in Multan I live in
Just 2years later I think
I would have to be insane if I took odds in my favor
Ok so In 2 years I’ll graduate that’s really nice
nice
I have to sleep bhai talk tomorrow bye 😀
Is bio chem good choices if i want to be in the dental program
I don't know about Chem but bio is perfect for that
I had to choose two and i don’t think physics is as nessasaru as bio and chemistry
Yes it is not that necassary
okay thanks
No problem
how will colleges feel about me taking two language classes?
Depends what u wanna study
shouldnt be a problem if youre not studying the language
i wanna be an architect, i just really like both languages😭
Then just go for it
Do classes you enjoy
What rlly matters is how passionate u r about the topic
i think i misunderstood your question
i thought u meant 2 language credits of the same language
yeah 2 languages is amazing
OHHHH NO IM SORRY
if i take both i'll be in spanish and chinese 2, but i think i am
thank you both‼️
😭🤬🤬
yeah its good
AP bio or AP chem wanting to do CS in college
Both kinda unrelated to CS but what topic interests you more? For example, I want to be a Biomedical Engineer when I grow up. Here’s my four year HS plan for Math and Science (I am an incoming sophomore):
Freshman:
- AP Calculus AB
- AP Calculus BC
- Earth Science
Sophomore:
- AP Physics C Mechanics
- AP Physics C E & M
- AP Statistics
- Biomedical Biology
Junior:
- AP Biology
- Enriched Chemistry
- Differential Equations
- Linear Algebra
Senior:
- AP Chemistry
- AP Environmental Science
- (Dual Enrollment Math)
Try to make a plan to meet your interests even if it is only for 1-2 years of high school. This can help show your goals and accomplishments. I hope this helps!
I’m a senior dude, I already got all my interesting classes out of the way lol
if it's between the two I'd do chem bc you'll prob have a required chem as gen ed so you can skip it with AP
I’m just tired of grinding and want to chill a little bit
^
Oh well that’s good to hear 👍
bio is considered easier overall compared to chem, but it depends on person to person
I was talking to my mum the other day and she was telling me that mechanical engineers are having like a shortage of jobs so would this affect anything?
So you could learn the best UNDER-RATED engineering degree ever !!!!!!!!!!
And I will not say in front of a public group chat
Send me a friend request
Then I will tell you what is it....
Do you guys know how to answer this
you read it and determine the main idea..
how did u manage to take ap cal bc freshman year
my school has so many prereqs you’ll be lucky to take it junior or senior year
what magic are you using
some schools have different systems but you aren’t at a disadvantage by not taking it until junior-senior year
as long as you are meeting/exceeding the standard at your school you’re fine
bro the ap courses at my school each require TWO CREDITS a prep lab and the actual course
and im allowed 8 credits a yr
another thing is
because the fact i took geometry hn freshman year instead of like algebra 2 hn ill have to take algebra 2 (normal not honors cuz virtual class no offer) so ill be able to take precal hn sophomore year
because precal has alg2 as a pre req
no school year
?
ill have to get a tutor and do extra work so ill have a good enough base for pre cal
oh wow
is it fine if i took alg 2 over the summer as they don’t offer honors i could take it over the school year but then ill take ap calc bc senior year and i cant list that in a college app by then
if i took it over the summer
it would ap calc bc junior
well colleges would see you are currently taking calc
also it depends if your hs even offers math after calc
ill take ap stats
senior year
ah
Geometry Hn - freshman
Alg 2 - summer
Precal hn - sophomore
Ap calc bc - junior
Ap stats - senior
i took that at the same time as calc
that sounds good
thank you
also should i take
hold up let me get the course selection papers
should i take ap macro with ap world history
or are they very difficult
i mean u could
i took world it wasn’t bad
my school doesn’t offer macro
so i can’t say for macro
ah ok
but i don’t think it’s hard
i haven’t taken psych but heard it’s easy
apush kinda a lot of work but not too hard
ill have to take it as its mandatory for this specific club im tryna join
also keep in mind to take ap that align with what u wanna do in college
i wanna be a lawyer so any of these social studies class i wanna take
oh nice
yea i wouldn’t be too too worried about your math situation then
just take the government and econ classes
ap gov not available until senior year
same with micro
only macro available for sophomores
does your school have euro
if so i’d take it at the same time as world
overlapping topics
nah sadly
idk what i should take junior year
for science
as i got these options
ap chem ap bio and ap phys 1
what are u taking sophomore year
chem 1 honors or chem 1 only available course
ap chem and ap physics
yes
unless u can take all 3 junior
did i hear that right
?
idk 😭
i took chem sophomore then physics and bio junior
😭
either than or chem and bio
i wouldn’t take chem senior year
ill prob take ap environmental science junior or bio and ap chem senior
physics is a no go
i dont wanna study 24/7
APES and Bio overlap in a couple areas
not too much but like 1 unit
anyways i gtg
good luck
ok thank you
wdym, why would you take 2 AP Sciences
especially those two
take AP Bio and Chem together, physics last
crazy stuff
In 6th grade, I applied to a program in which middle school students could take Algebra 1, Intermediate Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Precalculus at the local state university. In order to get in, you must take a rigorous math exam and score in the top %9 as well as having a compelling application essay. I did both of these and started my first semester at the university in 7th grade. Through 7th & 8th grade, I was able to complete all of the Calculus prerequisites during middle school allowing me to take both AP Calculus AB & AP Calculus BC my freshman year.
My courses for the year
Dang looks like we have similar suffering
What grade u goin into?
Sophomore
oh ok
Here are my courses:
AP Physics C Mechanics
AP Physics C Electricity & Magnetism
AP Statistics
AP European History
Biomedical Biology
English 10
Spanish 3
Health Education
Self studying AP World History
do you have any ecs with that much coursework
i curious 🧐
JV Volleyball
JV Debate
Basketball
DECA
HOSA
BPA
Volunteering
Piano
Planning on starting a business
This is the idea for next year
Planning a business or all those clubs
?
Are u from US?
Holy shit
Calc freshman year
thats what i said
its crazy
and now physics 2 sophomore
bro your gpa is going to be either a 5.5 or 2.3 with how much course rigor your taking
You get a 5 on BC?
4 sadly
Bruh my gpa last year was trash so I need to lock in this time around
Rip
Would child development help as a doctor
Is that a class in your HS?
It seems more psychology based but I think it’s still a valuable course
Yes what help do you need ?
alr
how is it possible to have a gpa above a 5
Take every single class don't ever missed a class
And understand don't write after what teacher says you will not understand the key points of what the main topic was about
Its not
Max is 5
thats if you take 24 aps in high school
all As
It depends on the school
Boys we goin for 20 APs
For my school the max is 5.3
Im going for like 15
Im taking 6 this year and then maybe 3 next year
Nice what are they
What grade r u?
Junior?
But im prolly gonna take university classes senior year
Yea
I’m planning 0/3/4/5(maybe 4) AP’s
Ap pre calc
Ap research
Ap Environmental
Ap french
Ap gov
Ap lang
I did 1/2/6/3 (thats the plan at least)
Only like two
Idk my full plan but something like this
2/6/6/6
I’ll probably drop a lot of em for classes which actually interest me
For me i’m not taking any easy ap’s
Except for comp sci A
It feels useless for me to take free useless AP’s
Eh
Its a big toll on mental health and social life if you only take difficult ones
You gotta balance it
You should always have that backup plan in mind
Btw could u rate my schedule next year
Ngl my sophomore year schedule looks deadly ☠️
Honors Alg II
Honors Eng 9th
PE
Ethnic/Health
Biology
Japanese II
What is it?
Thats really good
I did a really similar thing and im ranked like 13th out of 260smth in my class
Ok ty🙏
AP Physics C Mechanics
AP Physics C Electricity & Magnetism
AP Statistics
AP European History
Biomedical Biology
Health Education
English 10
Spanish 3
Self Study:
AP World History
AP Human Geography
Damn 13th
For sure
Bro i think ur cooked💀
AP phys C in 10th
Wow
Youre gonna burn out
Like my brains gonna explode?
The histories are gonna kill you
Ur gonna feel like doing nothing
Bc ur so fatigued
But I also gotta keep up with the ECCS
Seriously consider not self studying the othet classes
I’ll probably only self study AP World
From what I’ve heard it’s easy to do so if you take AP Euro
Its nothing worth risking your mental health for, seriously ifs better that you get into a slightly worse college than hurt yourself trying to get to a top collegr
I would agree
would someone like to rate the classes im taking this upcoming year (sophomore year)
The Physics C teacher at my school is really nice so maybe that will better me
Sure
My schedule surprisingly doesn’t actually have much homework aside from Euro and English
1st trimester:
Algebra 2
Chemistry
Ap world history
Ela research: greek mythology
Apush
Spanish 3
2nd trimester:
Algebra 2
Spanish 3
Ap world history
Ela argument: sci-fi
Apush
Chemistry
3rd trimester:
Algebra 2
Chemistry
Ap world history
Ela literature: humor
Apush
Computer applications
Fire
sucks i have algebra 2 first hour ALL YEAR
ok i sent it
Seems very doable u got this bro
tons of required courses this year which is killing me
i wanted to take ap lang but they changed all these requirement things and i wasnt able to
wanna see my current plan for junior year?
Yeah sure
My Junior plan is messed up lol
That’s kinda similar to mine
prob put down ap computer science principles as an alternate
wait nvm
ill put ap euro as alternate
cause im gonna take ap euro senior year so
My school only lets sophomore’s take it
if they have to change out one of those classes i would rather have it one i was already gonna tkae eventually
senior year plan so far: Ap chem
Ap calc
Ap euro
Ap lit
College essay
Intro to art
Art of design
Student council
Here’s my Junior plan (many changes may be made):
AP US History
AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Seminar
AP Macroeconomics
AP Comparative Government
Enriched Chemistry
Differential Equations + Linear Algebra
dang
very rigorous
Idk if I can handle it so sophomore year is a test
my school doesnt even offer psychology, seminar, or macro
Oh
my school offers these
Ap chem
Ap calc
Ap euro
Ap lit
Ap lang
Apush
Ap world
Ap gov
Ap bio
Ap stats
Ap computer science principles
Literally me except im taking ap Environmental and ap french no stats
the only way im able to take the classes im going to is because i took advanced classes in middle skl so im ahead
so after this year i have no more required math classes
Thats really good
well i still gotta take math but i get to choose what math
I could be done this year, i would just need to take two english and gov and econ
oh wow
im pretty sure im gonna have way more credits than i need to graduate
but its alr
should i take ap exams for both world and ush??
Yes
Theyre both difficult but very similar to eChother
Real
well
only 100 bucks
cause my whole state gets free lunch so we get the reduced ap test prices
No AP Physics classes?
In my school AP Calc has AB & BC
so you only have phys 1?
yeah ig
Current courses are
AP Calc Bc
AP Chem
AP Lit
AP Stats
AP Comp and U.S gov
Coding
I want to do stem at a selective college, but I don’t have an interest in lit. I already took lang. how bad would it look if I took on level English?
if there's any other advanced English options, you can take that instead
otherwise id say just take lit
yeah cause the skills you learn in it can be helpful in college even if you arent taking something related to english
yep
My school offers almost 30 aps… how many should I take
The APs that benefit your major or gen eds
take the one that aligns with ur major
On level English would hurt that much. Have you checked how many courses of English your lang score completes?
Also have you checked how many English courses you need?
Like 3 credit hours at state schools
Do they accept your lang score?
Idk how to check
Yeah, but t20s probably won’t m
Search up (Insert college name*) graduation requirements
And look under gen eds
Ok cool
Well if I got a 4 then I’d get 6
Did you get a 3?
Yeah not taking lit wouldn’t hurt you that much
Your course rigor is pretty hard enough already
That’s college admissions for ya
AP calc bc
AP lang/lit for the gen eds
You can look at your desired colleges graduation requirements for your major
Do you think a minor in Spanish or CS would look better on a resume?
Is a cs minor that valuable anyway? Im really not sure
Ill be taking almost all the classes for a CS minor i just dont know if I should go out of the way to take the one computer organization class id need to officially get the minor
vs doing a Spanish minor which Id be pretty close too as well albeit not as close as the cs minor.
Depends on what you’re looking to do. I know ppl with a Spanish minor and they never rlly got usage out of it. I’d lean towards cs, but I’d think abt what you want to study.
Thank you 🙏🙏
Im studying computational linguistics and NLP
I feel like having a minor in a second language probably would give me more unique job opportunities than cs? but i really don't know
Well too many scholars
I am rather interested in mathematics and want to pursue a Phd in it. What all jobs will be available to me after the Phd. also is it worth it?
hello this is gonna be one hell of a paragraph but pls help me out I'm literally on the verge like actually have to decide by tomorrow
Hello everyone. I have taken IGCSEs may/june 2024. I am applying for SIM school in Singapore for foundation. There are only two programs IT and Business for foundation. I took EFL, A Maths, E Maths, ICT, Business, Physics and Chemistry. I enjoyed Maths and Chemistry more than Business and was happy that it was over. But then when I had to choose for my major whether to take engineering, architecture or business. I hated physics like I just can’t think or do at all with it so engineering is out of the option. For architecture I am not talented that much in drawing and can’t function without 8 hours of sleep plus I’m not that creative with drawing the buildings but I can copy or draw as an average student from Pinterest like inspire not copy exactly. Plus architecture isn’t available in SIM. For business which is the path that I am going for right now, I like dealing with numbers like the finance part not the whole accounting part tho because I didn’t take accounting and economics in my IGCSEs. I have a family business too so might have some usage plus more job opportunities, I guess. Now I am learning accounting on my own with a tutor before the Oct/Nov intake. Let’s just say I’m not that passionate about business but it’s a safe option. The problem is I don’t know what I am passionate for exactly so I took business so there would be some income and jobs for me in the future. I find myself kinda forcing myself to study accounting after IGCSEs. I have even paid for the application fees for SIM but not the school fees yet. Am I making the right choice? This is my nightmare happening. All the money would be down the drain especially from immigrant parents so I feel really useless. What should I do?

👍
Oh that's really interesting. To me cs seems more logical but I agree that spanish could get you some interesting opportunities
Ive heard stories of people working in the field i want to go into getting reached out to for jobs just based on language experience so I feel like I value the proof of me knowing spanish more than a minor in cs when I'd already have a masters that should show I can code
but idk
freshman year:
- 1st year cs class
- honors bio
- pe
- spanish 2
- math 2 honors
- global studies/health
- english 10 honors
sophomore year
- AP CS P
- Ceramics 1
- Spanish 3
- Math 3H
- AP World Hist
- English 11H
- Physics H
junior (current year):
- AP CS A
- AP Calc AB
- AP Lang
- AP Physics C Mech
- PE Human Perf
- Teaching assistant for physics H teacher
- flex
is it ok if I took a flex in junior year? i am planing to take 5-6 aps in senior year and no flexes. trying to get into ucb 😭, I do not want to take AP Spanish and like how my school works is that you take chem honors in sophmore year, but only like 3 kids chose physics h and moved on to ap physics. there really was no other classes to take besides chem, but it was full, I am planning to take that senior year 🤷♀️ . am I cooked?
Eh as long as you get good grades and good ap scores I wouldn't worry too much
How many AP classes did you guys take sophomore year, because I’m only taking 2, ap precalc and ap us history, my freshmen year I took ap bio and that’s it. I just feel like people took more ap classes sophomore year tho
1
ap cs
and I took none frosh
I only took 1, don’t worry about how many other people take , take the classes that are for you!!
Other kids take more and good for them but even doing one is challenging so ur still doing good
Oh ok thanks guys, I appreciate it
How AP Bio?!

can someone help me come up with a counter arguement
like i rly wanna do honors english
what should I reply
A lot of smart people go to my school, it’s not gifted or anything like that at all, but yeah there was like 20 freshmen including me in ap bio
Which ones?
um ap seminar, ap lang, ap gov, ap world
we were forced to take these classes tho
I can’t really make a decision if I should switch Spanish with digital art. Spanish will give me high school credits, but I can’t even speak so I really don’t know if I should take Spanish in the first place. Digital art is something that I’m not particularly good at, but it’s something that I can understand well enough to keep my grades at a minimum of 90 or above. Could someone please give me some advice about which one should I take? Thank you!
do you have language credits at your school and have you fulfilled them?
That I do not know
ok you might want to look into that
since many schools have a language credit requirement
and many colleges recommend that you take some years of a foreign language
also it kinda depends on your spanish course too
there should be a spanish class for beginners that you can take
Oh okay thank you
you could still take digital art
it really depends on school requirements
and the courses
Guys see, I have a plan right now in majoring in Physics, but I wanted to make a good income as well, my father told me that i can study ohysics first like for undergrad and then for grad study something like mba for investment banking and etc but i cant do that opposite(i mean i asked here how could i make moneh while majoring physics), so i CANT first study investment banking for undergrad and then later study physics. Do u think studying Physics and then in the most advanced course studying mba type of thing isb etter or does double majkoring makes more sense?
Major in aeronautical engineering then apply to Lockheed Martin so you can make that cash
Trust
Money and physics
Imo do what your interested in
If you do what you don’t like your not gonna stick to it
And from what I’ve heard investment banking is very stressful
Don’t let parents pick your career
This your life you should be in control
Yeah but engineering is about building things, it sounds like this guys like more of the research aspect
But engineering definitely pays better than research science tho
I was told this about aerospace engineering is it true?
You won’t be able to practice anything. Aerospace engineering is regarded as vital to national security
Hell, even if you go to MIT, employers wont take you as an intern unless you’re a national. Even if you had a green card, which you don’t. You’re a fully international student. You’ll get zero internships and zero opportunities for work until you become a US citizen
@late aspen @mild python @safe granite
That's true and your original statement about national security is also especially true
what
I got this from one of my seniors pursuing comp Sci in US
What if
I pursue a bachelor's in Mechanical
And grad in Aerospace?
Cus I will get citizenship
chatgpt said this
What about this.
idk man
im not a lawyer
yet
What is lockhead apply?
even my parents said that, the thing is i wanted to make some money as well so thats the problem
what if i study something like theortical physics and then join something like Nasa for example or some private thing like space x or some thing like IBM for the quantum aspect
Good luck
Never heard of it but if it’s true you could go into ME instead
It’ll take years tho
I think you should pursue physics or engineering
Guys I need some advice, I'm 14 and I have been wanting to major in Biomedical Eng for a long time now, and I have been working towards that goal in by studies. I took AP bio this may and did good on it, but I also took AP US governmnet and absolutely loved it. So right now I don't know what to keep focusing on in the future. I still love Biomed and engineering but I also really love law and politics now. What courses would you suggest I take in the future at highschool and what can I do to figure out which subject I should persue in the future?
you're in a really good path of trying everything out
why dont do alittle of everything
How did you take ap bio at 14?
uh I just took it?
Are you a freshman?
so i'm skipping freshman year and going into grade 10 in fall this year
Interesting, I wonder if I could do something similar
you should definitely try it out with your school.
its a gift and a curse btw
you're absolutely cooked if you struggle
I’m sure it’ll be fine
thats what they all say
Dont, being in a class with people older than you is gonna make you feel left out, you can take harder classes, but graduate early instead of skipping freshman year
It reminds me of in a movie, when the wise old guy tries to stop the adventurer from going on the journey, the guy ends up almost dying like 3 times, but in the end turns out ok
Is feeling left out a problem? I have several classes with upperclassmen and I’ve already made friends
Then just stay on your track
If youre gonna miss a year miss your senior year
you're going into freshman year very soon
its already too late anyways
How is this senior year classes
should be light, except for ap chem
bio should be a bit challenging
I didn’t wanna go too challenging for my senior year but I still wanted decent classes on my schedule for college applications
honestly
college app is done mid senior year
personally, i would've loaded the most challenging classes in order to raise my gpa up a little bit for valeditorian and such
There’s like 4 people in my class tied for the highest gpa rn
are u one of them?
Nope
gotcha
Junior year I didn’t do full IB so I basically ruined my chances
The way my school does it is that IB classes aren’t everyday, so you can fit more into ur schedule than AP, and AP and IB classes are weighted the same in gpa
AP seminar is an AP class where you focus on doing research projects and learning how to conduct research and speak about it
oh ok is it hard?
I could not speak from personal experience. But my friends that have taken the class say that it is certainly challenging. After all it is an AP course. It only becomes hard if you procrastinate and don't ask for help
ya that is true thank you
yall im taking ap spanish lang and as a non-native speaker my spanish is pre-intermediate at best am i cooked
Aren’t you supposee to be at advanced 💀
But would that be high paying jobs?
like ther are not many
but
if i combine physics and engiineering and start looking at things like hjobs at nasa for example
then it could make sense
Depends on the type of engineering as well.
Like I think computational physics might be a thing?
ye that does exist
i was also thinking about quant
cuz im equally interested in maths
like quant is stats + crazy maths
What gen eds do you need for a CS major?
i meannn i took spanish I, II, and III but my teachers never fully spoke to me in spanish so im not used to the vocab that’s typically used in conversation
i think my writing skills are a bit better but i can’t rlly assess that accurately so yea
is it bad look to take a flex junior year, the way I got my schedule so far sicne freshman year
Which is harder, Algebra 2 or Geometry???
I did geometry first, algebra 2 got very hard very fast
Glad you mentioned that because I'm taking Geometry now, and Algebra 2 next semester
idk about ur school but AP chem is brutial for us
I'm thinking about marine biology but i'm not sure about the long term financial stability and demand of the career, are there any sort of more realistic careers that may be a better choice?
I took both of the classes and they both were very easy for me
Ok this is the senior year schedule I think I’m gonna have what do we think:
Calc III
AP Stats
AP Gov
AP Lit
I’m only taking 4 classes bc I’m going to be doing a software and data systems internship at a lab this year in the afternoons
This isn’t finalized but this is what I selected? I get my actual schedule on Friday
hey i am a freshman in high school and thinking bout these classes:
AP CSP
AP Stat
AP Precalc
What do you think?
like is it that hard??
For a freshmen, yea.
what bout other two??
Maybe you could ask the upperclassmen how the classes are?
I think you could handle them.
my batch is the first to have AP classes
ok
Nice.
I can only take WHAP 😭
that is boring
cause history is always boring
I mean always is a significant word.
And it depends on the teacher as well.
yeah
All my middle school historys were fun.
Yep.
good luck
No. Once again, the key is to take difficult classes and do well in them. If taking a flex class achieves this for you, then there isn’t an issue.
lightwork
Should i take spanish 3 honors or engineering
I want to go into electrical engineering or computer engineering
I think engineering will look better on the application because then they will look at the courses and see “oh I KNOW what this person wants to do”
How many years of language do you have?
Reccomended to have 3-4.
my school offers a crazy amount of aps but we aren’t allowed to take any freshman year. However I self studied 2 in freshman year. How many should I do sophomore, junior, and senior year?
Hmmm that’s an interesting question
Are there any APs that you want to do first?
Ones that sound interesting and that you want to take
I think it depends on your schedule and the course rigor
It also depends with what you want to major on. For example, If you want to major in applied mathematics then you should take the highest level math classes available (such as AP Calc BC in sophomore or junior year) which leaves room for college level courses in senior year
Wut is ur major
