The JEE is the only thing you need to do in order to get into IIT
There are two JEEs that you need to rank highly on
Nope
Its another Institute of Tech
like IITs but not technically one
interesting
The quality of the education is non existent
Dang
There is no causation
It's just prestige from passing JEE Advanced
Which means you're smart
Are u scaring me or encouraging me
I'm confused 😭
So jobs take you
encouraging
there’s a chance for anything
don’t give up hope things happen for a reason in the end
you might not end up at an ivy but that doesn’t meant you can’t climb the levels in a job environment or something like that yk
I've gotta prepare for 12th boardssssss
An ivy degree gives you a lot of job leverage
Oh no now it's way too late
my neighbor had like no education from India but he’s a millionaire now so🤷♂️
Ur right
For olympiads at least
I mean
IOQM and NSEs are only for 10th and 11th
No
Prestige matters.
Ok but like that's not even national level 🤔
ok so I'm gonna GO-
:DDD
Enough for today lol
Got a lot to think abt already
Will come back later
👍🏻
Tysm againnn
Honestly if you half ass your essays you've got no chance, if you apply to quite a few, maybe like 50, you'll probably get in somewhere but you'll have to take large loans and also put in a lot of effort
Unless you get really lucky with T20s
Internationals get no aid cus most aid is federal
Maybe some merit scholarships at most like 10%
I don't want to get in somewhere random and put those loans
Thats why I'm prepping for indian entrances too
Unless you've got really good ECs but at that point ivies already give internationals full ride too
Just focus on those then
Like I said, if you're gonna divide your time you're gonna do nothing well
A non ivy is not somewhere random
But given my situation, all the counsellors and experienced ppl I've spoken have said to do both.
Letters of recommendations, so you need to write down brag sheets and a ton of other stuff from your core teachers
To keep 'options open'
Essays, the common app and supplemental essays for each uni
That's gonna take a month
The sat, you need to prepare for at least two weeks
Yes I know
I've looked into EVERYTHING
Thus why I'm so stressed
2 months is a conservative estimate
See SAT I might end up not taking
I don't have faith in getting a good score
You also need to improve your ECs
Test optional is a joke
Not submitting an sat score lowers your chances
But submitting a bad one? or a mid one?
It's only test blind unis but there is like 1
If you want to get into an ivy and can't even get a 1500+ sat after 2 weeks of practice, just focus on Indian entrances
A 1500 on the sat is easy
Hmm..
Well, I haven't given a proper shot to Sat syll or anything yet
I'll look into it
Choosing between the two is too much work
Just do the sat
Act science is pretty much alien to the Indian curriculum from what I know
OKOKOK WISE SIR
ill come back later
my brain got enough stress for one day
Ty for ur timeeee
Byeeee
Np tctc
I really dont know how to break down these math courses. Can someone help break down college math into catagories so it'll be easier to know whst i want to pick? Im only in calculus in high school
Well how many maths courses even are there?
You could do a ba in stats or a ba or bsc in maths itself 🤔
Ok so
"Animal science, math, environmental science, chemistry, biology, animal science, financial literacy"
Gon be my classes hopefully while uh doing ECs if possible for communication and leadership along with environmental studies or natural resource management
I think I got my plan ready for when I get back to school
how hard is ap chem compared to igcse chemistry
ik it's definately harder but the AP credit is is better price wise
.
What classes should I pick for high school?
Honestly freshman year
Depends
Can you do honors classes do you feel confident to work hard throughout the year?
Do you have any aspirations after hs? Like do you want to pursue a career in engineering
Just see what you can take based off your current academic skills and what you cannot
Do you have a list?
Ye
I wanna get into business, docter but I want to be a athlete for football to @elfin hill
I am top of my classes in 8th grade
This month I will get my high school application back to see what high school I go to but I get 3 months till graduation for 8th grade @elfin hill
Take like a business elective if you have space in your schedule
That’s good
Ok what should I pick
Ok
Mine is regular 8th grade stuff but I am doing a high school region@elfin hill
Honestly the only thing that’ll be a problem for you might be math honors
If you end up doing honors classes
Ok
I find math honors very hard
Maybe its just my school and the teachers
I’d say if you think your ready for some honors classes
Do a couple
You don’t have to do all honors classes
Rn I added all my grades together I have a gpa of 4.0 gpa@elfin hill
Since you wanna be a doctor it would make sense to take an honors science class
But its not easy
Ok
My first is science honors class
Are you ahead in math
Ya
Rn I get 90 in math
@elfin hill rn in my 8th grade class we are doing slopes and linear functions, graphs
I am in 8th grade rn I wanted to get classes for high school @elfin hill
Yeah I’m trying to help you with math
If your already ahead in math you don’t really need to take a hard math class like honors
@elfin hill ye I am on top of the stuff rn just trying to my ela up
Will you do geometry next year?
Idk I haven't picked yet
Ok
The perfect advice I’d give you again is you don’t have to spam honors classes like 1-3 is fine just choose whatever you feel you’ll do good in(you don’t want to hurt your gpa freshman year yk) for example if science is your strong suit it would make sense to do an honors science course freshman year
I do Spanish classes rn I get a A(94)
I think it should come down to that
You could def do spanish honors its not bad
The thing is
It’s the teachers dude
If you have a bad teacher it’ll ruin it for you
Ok
It’s not that you can’t do honors classes or any classes you want its just the teacher
I know cuz colleges are looking for students that take different languages
Might make the experience worse
Anyways just use this
Talk to your counselor yk figure out the classes you can and can’t take
That’s pretty much it
Ok am pick 3 honors classes for freshman year and get use to it than maybe get more
@elfin hill
Perfect exactly
Get used to it first
I know maybe 2-3
Sophomore year you’ll be experienced
Ye
Good luck
I don’t think there’s a number
More so credits like you need 4 years of english credits and something like that
Again depends on your school
But for my experience freshman year I was in all regular classes except math honors
Now currently I’m a sophomore in all honors classes and 1 ap
Ok
And one more thing like for electives
You can pick a business elective
Is algebra 1 math honors
Like intro to business, personal finance etc
Maybe
Only for English class
Ok
When I study for the weekly vocab tests
Chem honors and apush I study solo
No distractions
How do I become your study partner
What ap should I take if I’m going into premed
Idk
Def the science ones
but they will not be easy whatsoever
Now which science ap depends on you
Have you had experience in biology?
Or like chemistry
How many classes should I have senior year I currently have 4 for the fall term (Stats, Financial Accounting 2, accounting applications, and Digital info tech) and 4 for the spring term ( Business Calc, Mangerial Accounting, accounting applications, and digital info tech). Is it enough?
I don’t know if I should do Spanish honors next year. I’m currently a freshman, taking Spanish honors this year. I got a B+ (86.5) first semester, and I want to get into a good college (so I can’t really be getting B’s). The current semester is 25% done, and I’m doing better with a 92 (A-). I don’t know if I want to do Spanish honors next year, though my teacher recommended me for it. Here are the pros and cons to NOT doing Spanish honors:
Pro:
- Lower chance of getting a B (logically)
Cons:
- Colleges don’t like when I drop down (will they even notice?)
Please ping me or I won’t see the messages, thanks!
Repost
What does good college mean to you?
honors classes do help your weighted GPA so taking Spanish honors next year will help even if you get 1 B but if you think the class was too stressful with being between A and B then I'd say drop down a level (they probably won't look at your app and realize you dropped down ngl they have a lot of apps to get through)
Is AP us gov easy? would you rec to a freshman? my teacher said it was hard, but then most of my other friends said that it wasnt really hard
The teacher teaching it?
i dont know, because im going to a new school that hasn't been built yet
oh
US Gov isn't generally a difficult class
ok
Mid isn't the worst that could happen tho
yeah that's true
hey, i will be freshmen the next school eyar
is this good for my course selections
please keep in mind that AP Stats should be IB Math Analysis 2
I like that a lot
also very cool to see another LDer in the server, hope to see you on the circuit someday!!!
lincoln douglas is objectively the worst debate format
nah
all my friends do PF
i did it once
it was kinda fun
guyz is gov hard
Is AP Comparative Government a hard class ?
Not really
If u took a gov class or willing to put in work it's not the hardest
which is easier, comp gov or us gov
comp
is it normal for high schools to only offer 1 ap sophomore year?? I was shocked when I found out my school only has 1 for soph year while some others have like 3 - 5
Yeah
Every school has their own policies
and you arent in a disadvantage because of that, when it comes to APs, colleges compare you to local students
Plus even if u have like 20 APs that doesnt guarantee you to get into a prestigious uni either
question
if you already know the language should you take the ap class?
and should that forgien languages be an ap class? can it be self-taught?
ping pls^
and you only should take one of these 3 right? (i mean AP, IB, and DE)
Hello
no, you can take some APs, some IBs and some DE depending on your school and district policy
depends but it still looks good to colleges so
like self-studying for an AP?
Most colleges wouldnt consider that as part of your recommended 3 years of a foreign lang
I need help picking classes i already picked 3 honors classes for freshman year I need more classes @solemn hamlet
What classes are available to you?
wdym
dont just pick random classes off the internet
wait to get into a high school
Nah I already know what classes I have@solemn hamlet
ok then
I have honors but I will pick 3 honors, algebra 1, biology, and more
wdym u have honors
do you have every single honors hs course available in your school
Yes
then list them out anyway
Science honors, math honors, English honors, and more
Is apes an easy class ?
yes
u alr have a math class
if u want more science classes then go ahead
and yeah take that english honors class
Alr ty
to be specific, ask an upperclassman who already took it from the same teacher
oh ok ty
the class itself is supposed to be easy but it isnt if the teacher assigns loads of homework and doesnt teach the material well
Ok I will pick English honors, science honors and one more thank you
well, you ideally want an english course every year
also take a foreign lang course
I will Spanish classes
its pretty important for colleges these days
youll prob take us history sophomore and junior year https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1171505591454285864.webp?size=64
Ok I am already doing Spanish so in highschool I will do Spanish
thats pretty much all u need in freshman yeah
Ok
if you can, it might be a good idea to take a history course maybe euro history or world, but itd be better to take a relevant AP in senior year if ur school has any
Btw how much yrs should I take Spanish
I’m already gonna complete 1 this yr
And one next yr
just take 4 years to be safe, most colleges recommend 3 but some 4
Ok
Ok
Is the AP Spanish class easy
Bc for my 4th year ima have to take a AP Spanish
As freshman can u do ap Spanish @
Nope
It's pretty much an average AP in terms of just pass rate and stats, it shouldnt be too difficult
depends on ur school
Only Spanish 2 or Spanish 3
Ok
but mostly no yeah
What one is easier
Wdym
honors
Spanish 2 or 3
Spanish 2
its in order
It’s all honors
Ok
I’m taking all honors
2 --> 3 --> 4
AP goes either in place of 4 or after it depending on your school
So am take all honors
I can’t skip Spanish 3
if you can, take APs
I am
Cuz I am like 1 in my class
I’m taking Human next yr and CSP or CSA
look at who i pinged https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1171505591454285864.webp?size=64
CS A is better if u wanna go into CS, CSP is a free 5.0 (depending on teacher and homework load)
Mb
Yea
I wanna go into CS
I am mostly know everything we are doing highschool stuff in our school it is pretty easy
then take CS A if you have to choose
but my parents are telling me not to and don’t skip the basics
CSP wont get you a credit
CSP has no basics
its just theory
Oh ok
the best way to learn CS is online
Yea
you just have way more resources
and no stress from school exams which often make u write code on paper
Is CSA an easy AP?
I hate that
It’s so dumb
Ok basically am pick mostly honors in freshman year cuz I know everything else basically @solemn hamlet
not really, especially if u dont have a background in coding
I know python
But planning on learning Java
Over the summer
To get a head start
most people take either honors or AP courses depending on whether your school has mostly honors curriculum based classes or not https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/748508049408524298.webp?size=64
java is good
its a brand new syntax format
Yea
so doing some research will help
And isn’t CSA based on it
Ok thanks
Yea
it is
just take as many APs as you can if you want to get into a prestigious college and focus on ECs
is it a good idea to take Spanish 3 over the summer and take Ap Spanish in 10th, so i can start a new foreign language in junior year?
Alr Ty
if you dont, then just take APs to prepare urself maybe
Alr ty
compressing spanish 3 into the summer might not be a good idea
hs isn't the only way to learn a foreign lang
Yes but it's the only way to get a credit for it tho
so you want to take an AP for another foreign lang after alr having spanish?
like just intend to minor in it in uni or smth?\
Probably not
then wdym credit
Just 3 years of another language
why though
Idk
plus that'd be 2 years not 3 wdym
oh like do u plan to do another year's worth in junior year summer
bro that just sounds counter productive
just take ap spanish until junior year and then take a different ap senior
nope self study the language not ap for it
No we have a choice to take 2 classes in senior year (for instance a second year of foreign Lang and the third)
well, in terms of college apps, just self studying a lang doesnt do much
ok so you have to take a foreign lang in senior?
a brand new one if ur alr done with spanish?
No
what does it do
if you pass a proficiency test, then that could be an additional information add
if you win in competitions related to that lang, that too
but just learning it isnt smth you'd put in your app
You just need to know the language for effective global communication, although the credit itself is good
well, might be better to ask your counselor then considering how specific this is, from what ur saying sounds like a diploma requirement
oh wait
what
are you talking about in an app?
self studying a language doesnt earn you any credits
o ok thank u
thank you tooo
I'ma forget my course change plans ig uhh my dad said I can't change them...
Or I'll try to convince him
Course selection opened today!
Here is my current schedule
Honors English 1
Honors biology
Honors algebra 2
Honors geometry
Honors world history
PE
Spanish 1
Choir
Here is what I'm thinking for the upcoming year
Pre calc over summer
And then for the official year
AP calc BC
APUSH
Honors English 2
Honors chemistry
Physics of the cosmos
PE
Choir
Spanish 2
Physics C (mech and EnM, each a semester and online)
I want to be a physics major
👍
Cool
try taking ap lang whenever u can
otherwise this seems pretty good
except for the fact that
people who take pre calc or a math over the summer usually struggle more
and ur skipping to BC soo
ur definitely gonna struggle unless ur extremely good at math
I was triple advanced but moved states and lost all the credits
That's a Senior only class
My school doesn't have AB
o
I'm not sure if it's better to do AP chem (double block) or honors chem and physics of the cosmos
Because I want to be a physics major
OH
Plus Physics C online
I forgot
@lone lion
I LOVE STEM
i only like data science
well supposedly
i dont like chem or physics
but if u like it
go through w it lol
Bet
Anyone else have input
Hello
I have a question, I am currently going into 9th grade, but planning my courses for all yrs in hs. I am really passionate about yearbook and photography as well as choir . So I planned to take both electives. The only problem is I can’t take a zero period as an athlete which is a new law passed in California. Is it better to continue doing yearbook and pass up on world history AP for normal world history? Or should I give up yearbook and the chance at being editor for the extra AP. I’m leaning towards not taking the AP as I am not interested in history and don’t plan to do anything related to it in my future, but it is one of the most rigorous classes at my high school.
You don’t take history as freshman
Ik, sorry if I was unclear. I am planning into sophomore year and want to keep both electives but will have to add history which will take away one
So yearbook and photography are your passion
And choir, but my question was whether I should let go of WHAP and just take normal world history in the summer or let go of one of my electives and take WHAP during the school year
Here my advice take world history in the summer then do AP world history
why would i do both? world history in the summer, and then WHAP during the school yr?
Never mind just let go of AP world history
ok thx
You welcome
??..
🫤
I thought they will see if I dropped down
is this good 9th grade schedule; honors english 9, honors geometry, honors biology 9, ap hug, avid, childhood growth and development, and spanish 1
its good but I would have taken a lang in middle school if possible
What r the main topics in AP Precalc that r covered in alg 2
Or will college notice
Will college notice if I drop from freshman year honors Spanish to a level in sophomore year?
Please ping me or I won’t see the messages, thanks!
But they will@still@notice? @wintry harbor
yes, it will be shown in your transript
What do you think is it fine if I send dm request Ty
Or should I not send request Ty @polar plaza sorry
yeah you can dm me
well what did you do
its better to just continue
If u can take geo over the summer
lmao which
i can’t sadly
? i didn’t take it cuz i didn’t even know my school offered spanish till later
so it was too late
how would you not know your options
like dont they post it and show you at some point
so how did you even get classes
wdym? all my middle school classes were just chosen for me
uhh which state do u think my hs is in
it’s kinda confusing to explain
o no lol my hs is in Illinois
should i skip algebra 1 and go to geometry, or do i just take algebra 1, i plan to do comp sci courses as well
like is it essential
def do algebra 1 it’s so important for geometry i’m taking geometry rn
how is skipping algebra 1 even an option
theres a test
did you pass?
yes
hey guys idk if this is supposed to be ask here but anyways
should i do this thing called early college in high school? its basically college while high school and its to get an associates degree. the thing is im debating whether or not this is beneficial and i should do it. and im going to have to choose courses too eventually. can i get your thoughts? thanks
yes
why wouldnt u want to get it early
i’m just wondering cuz like some classes affect yr gpa and it might add on stress but i think im prepared for it
true its still beneficial nevertheless
wait thats so cool
i want that
😭
is it only for ur school @snow jay
actually i cant even do it im way too past it
yea
o
idk how my school got it tho
I think this program is very beneficial for students who want to get ahead in college! Depending on your associates degree, you may be able to get jobs that require a bit more education
From what ive heard, it's usually for people who want to graduate early because either you want the accelerated learning, or you just don't care cus you have a stable, high paying job
For example, I got an AS (Associate of Science) which allowed me to also get my Pharmacy tech license
Since it requires an AS + HS diploma
my hs also does chs classes but i wish i could make it work towards an assoicates cause when i graduate i'll have gotten like 90 cc credits during high school lmfao
actually it’s free…
like it’s all free somehow
imma try participate in internships too
It gives HS students the chance to take college classes for free lol
It really depends on the courses and all but my overall experience with that type of school was really positive
You just have to stay on top of your assignments
Hi all! I just found out my highschool doesn’t offer ap for freshman and only offers AP gov for sophomores. They also do earned honours. Any advise?
Take as many as you can, focus on ECs, colleges compare your APs to the ones available at your school
So will I be at a disadvantage?
Also thank you
no
ECs always matter more anyways
plus if u take 5 APs but there were only 5 available to take at your school, thats fine
What if you take 10 out of 15 APs available at your school
ECs are more important, that'd probably be fine
Hello
I’m tryna choose forensic science as my course
what group do i need to take in 11th and 12th
i assume it’s something PCB/PCM
doesn't really matter actually
Imma study in the UK
uni admissions care about admissions tests
oh
yeah i’m not in india
ain’t planning to ever go there and study again
what group would i need?
PCB/ PCM says otherwise
Just in a CBSE school or smth?
yeah js in a cbse school
Check the admissions page for the unis, they generally have clear cut course reqs
i’ll try
i tried looking into NTU and UC
but
they’re mostly equivocative
my school doesn’t have bio for both
apparently it needs both maths and bio at the same time
don’t know
Most american schools like maths up to calculus if UC refers to University of California there
oh i meant uni of central lancashire
the details devil got me
are there any indian forensic science majors here
that specifically studied in the UK
i wouldnt think so lmao
thats EXTREMELY specific
even if there is, they prob arent reading this
the thing is
if i end up choosing PCM and they want bio
i’d have to opt for foundation
which
is
honestly
a goofy ass waste
time and money
they apparently want bio for the course from IB students but IB always has maths anyway
💀😭
this school is shitty
they don’t got PCM + bio
if this was a thing
my problems wouldn’t be a proble
m
why study in cbse at all tho if ur no teven in india at all
my parents
tell them it hurts you in college
works with most parents
deadass it won’t
how many cbse schools are around you lmao
a good amount
rn i’m not in UK
i’m in qatar
theres quite a lot here
a perk in this school is that the entry requirements for the science stream is lowkey low
and we got two chances at that
doesn't really matter tho https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1171505591454285864.webp?size=64
if ur scoring less than like 70% in preboards what ru even doing
my dumbass chose basic maths now i gonna change back
fr
75% for science stream in this school
lmao
and it’s decided via our pre board marks not actual board marks
that's true for everyone
icl i find it to be kinda low
wait fr?
its the same in my school
thought it was a this-school thingy
75% in science and maths for science stream in pre board 2
im p sure thats how they do it here
oh
for me it started on march
my tenth js started two weeks ago
it looks ez so far
mine started this monday
but yeah tenth is easy
science is just 7th and 8th repackages
from what i’m seeing
physics is lowkey easier than gravitation and work and energy last year
js some random ass new constants surely it won’t be bad
i saw that
headphones looking thingy
the only new stuff is chem
it was this:
in the magnetic effects of current chapter i think
well
trig looks hard
bio is just 7th and 8th repeated
lmao trig is easy
yeahhh lmao
three formulas
deadass?
so theres only three functions this year??
physics is some of 7th light and stuff with some extra stuff added on
well no
hm
sine, cos, tan, cosec, sec, cotan
u studied trig?
crazy
I gave the ISEE and it had trig
hm
nice
i was yapping badly before last year
i took it seriously 😭😭🙏
9th annuals was so ez btw
9th annuals are arguably harder than 10th
the only bad stuff in 10th is indian history
yh
6 geo chapters too
my friend got a board paper for sst
27 pages 😭😭🙏
BRUH
b r u h
we are dead
full internals
dw
for 10th boards?
if u get a certain amount on pre boards
oh
the practicals are a joke
lmaooo
just have a good reputation with your teachers in terms of if u can get full on boards
alr
thats crazy
ive just got a sample paper from doe open rn idk if cbse has any official ones but i just used doe papers for 9th https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/695126170328498246.webp?size=64
how many days of study holidays
for 10th?
hm
yeah
most schools finish up studies by august
between preboards
that’s pretty quick
even if they say that schools are open, noone comes after the first preboard at all
well maybe not for us
yeah no we aren’t finishing by august
maybe by december
but how many study holidays will we have between each pre board
hell nawh
like early december
that’s crazy
do we at least get 3 days
between each pre board
yall writing for outta 600 right
why does second language exist
500
its always out of 500
1 is additional
what subs do u have
it can be substituted in score calculation, but thats meh
its literally a skill subject
wym by that
my mam said it’s outta 600
the final score is out of 500
ICT, maths, english, science, SST, second language
oh uve got ict too
yea why
ICT can be used to substitue a score in score calculation
its a skil subject
its an additional subject
what does it mean
the primary subjects are 5
but people dont really like it if u substitute with a skill subject, its only really considered for passing
hm
600 in score, 500 in report
ICT is designed for data entry operators
its if u wanna leave school at 10th and become a data entry operator https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1171505591454285864.webp?size=64
💀💀💀💀
goofy
anyway i hope it’s true
because i’m so bad at SL
like
i got 45/100 in 9th
in SL
do you think starting to revise now for boards is optimal
no
ic
SL? Like ICT?
second language
i took sanskrit, i got 98.5 https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/835834023670448158.webp?size=64
at least i can interpret basic sentences in french because it uses latin alphabets
btw how r clubs in ur school
just like hindi and Malayalam
hindi --> 🤮
work experience
do you mean 11th groups
they don’t exist
what
there are no “clubs”
oh cool then
well, for me, we've got a period at the end of friday, and we've got a 'Club' assigned to the whole home room
teachers want a break or smth 🙏
nah apparently the school year is ending for other younger grades
literally same except it’s not block
thank god it’s not block
what does block even mean tho
oh it isnt then
block just refers to long times
same
1 hour 20
they ain’t even taking ICT now
weve got them all besides pt, m/d/a and clubs
oh and SST
hm
we've got ict too
i havent had one yet, but ive seen it on the schedule
it sucks anyway
im literally the only one there
😭
❓
what group u gonna take
no but to be real, they're all just talking to each other, its basically a conversation between me and the teacher
😭
thinking to be homeschooled after 10th
we dont have home rooms or stuff here
we just sit in a single room
idk how it is for u
hm
lmao
what
tf
oh
wait
do you mean like
you js sit in class
nothing more
cbse --> bad
I am a god so everyone is literally an attention seeker and it's basically harassment
there is no other conclusion
lmaoo
everyone literaly is always trying to get my attention
yeah we dont move around
same
i don’t do IB
might as well look for schools with PCM + bio
fair enough
mannnn
the thing is
if i go and become homeschooled
wait actually
I could just say I did APs, prepare for them two months before, and have the rest of the year to ECs https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/695126170479493132.webp?size=64
maybe i don’t need maths
I could also do some MOOCs idfk
and already I've got better, more recognizable course-work than CBSE
Plus I would have a great reason to choose homeschooling too in terms of limitations of my curriculum and bullying
yeah
i was looking at british admissions for americans
they take APs and the SAT
if I focus up, I could just mainly apply to american and british unis, maybe some in Canada but those'll probably recognise APs as a curriculum too
you’re american?
no
oh
lol
so i wouldnt even have to worry about not having a grade if i were homeschooled
anyway
i’m going to UK in april
do they generally require letters of rec
nah
would have to go for IB if i wanted to study in UK
i don’t wanna study in the UK right now
oh like boarding away from ur family or smth?
oh
and i’d have to move away
maybe there wouldn’t be good IB schools near where she is
IB is basically the curriculum in UK besides GCSE
its not a british curriculum, just widely adopted
if i go there and study
its swedish
man I would
My sister is applying to indian unis https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/1172184404521652334.webp?size=64
