Unless your school is different AP English is not a thing. There is AP English Literature and AP English Language, and those usually taken in 12th and 11th grade respectfully. You would most likely want to take English I Honors or Pre-IB English I

Hey everyone so in sweden I have to choose on what I want to do in my second year of high school. I have the choices of either study for engineering where I have to the courses Maths 4 in the second year, half or Maths 5, half of special math and Physics 2.
In my other choice to study to become probably a developer not really sure I have to study, Entrepreneurship, Digital making 1, Programming 2 and webbserver programming 1. I'm stuck since everyone is choosing the engineering route. Would like some advice

I think it really depends on how you think you will be able to handle the classes. From my experience (I'm currently in all IB classes, with the exception of AP US History) these classes definitely tend to be more challenging in the sense that there is typically more work. I previously did very well in honors classes so I believed that IB wouldn't be too hard, but I found that the classes are too stressful for me. I know many people who are able to manage their time and plan accordingly, and they are pretty happy and thriving in IB/AP classes. I believe that it really depends on how you think you will be able to handle the classes!

I would not know how AP calculus is as our school mainly offers the IB program, so instead of AP calculus I went into IB Math AASL, which is much like pre-calculus. To gauge how well you might do in these classes I would reccomend really analyzing if you have good study, organization, and time management skills. If you do, then you may be able to perform well in these classes, but if not, I would not recommend taking too many AP/ higher level courses!
