I would personally say no, you are already doing 6 from above that I see. I would stick to those honestly, especially since you have a variety and six is actually a lot. You can take more your senior year, but it’s better to pass all 6 than to self sabotage by adding another and get a mid score. 6 is already impressive enough, and I’m assuming you are gonna apply to colleges. So you will impress them enough already. And since it’s your first year too. Don’t over push yourself, even though you are willing to work hard. 6 is impressive as is trust me, it is already showing you are working hard. Don’t just pressure yourself into adding another.

Are you applying to colleges? I’m assuming based on the amount of aps. Because instead of adding another ap, I would focus the extra time on the other six exams or even doing a small project or joining a club, or an extracurricular to fill in the time gap if you were to take another ap exam. It will help your college application a lot out, because it will show what you balance in your life with six ap exams academically.

Well, I’m in the math team. And have done over 100 hours of community service. I have a job. And I used to do taekwondo. But thats about it. And yes I do plan on going to college. My grades freshman year were pretty bad so I want to take a ton of hard stuff to make up for it in my mind

Cause junior year is kind of a crammed year, so colleges understand you are pushing yourself a lot in this time. So adding an extracurricular might be a bit more beneficial than another ap exam. Also, if you do dual enrollment or if your high school offers it. Take that extra ap courses subject you wanted to take the exam for, but do it through dual enrollment through a college in the summer. Cause you will still get college credit for it

Depends on teacher. For me it's almost none. I have literally just studied for all our tests the night before and gotten A's. If you're good with conceptual stuff and can memorize stuff at least kinda well you should be fine.

Okay okay I see, yes so do a lot of extracurriculars which is good. Ohhh I understand, yeah so instead of over pressuring yourself, trust me six is a lot so don’t worry. Focus on passing those this year, just even getting better than your year before cause it will show growth. Colleges can see to, that you want to improve already and you are taking college seriously now. based on you taking six aps this year compared to your freshman year. You can even switch perspectives on your college apps next year by showing colleges that although you did not do best in freshman year, you focused a lot of extracurriculars but then you realized you wanted to challenge yourself and improve academically as well. Talk about how you learned you wanted to go to college and try, what changed? And what motivated or sparked a passion in you?

From what I've heard ap physics 1 is easier than AP chem (haven't taken AP chem but currently working my way through AP physics 1 curriculum)

if you're doing well in AP chem I would say you could do well in physics 1

Though they are quite different classes

Yes it is but imo, BC goes at too fast a pace to try and learn all of the content of AB and BC

If you are going to go straight to BC, I would highly recommend covering AB over the summer

Unless you have a background in computer programming, I would say CSP. Jumping right into Java can be difficult.

is roughly 8 AP classes for my entire career and 5-6 honors classes good enough for collleges that have a 60% acceptance rate? my school offers roughly 25 AP classes
