i’ve already done my fine arts requirement and i’m going to be doing my wellness requirement over the summer (we have to take phys ed 1 & 2 and also health 1 & 2) and i’m currently taking algebra 2 and geometry at the same time so i got the required algebra 2 done

the program im in requires me to take ap euro sophomore year and apush and ap english junior year so that why i’m not taking apush or ap eng yet

princeton is my absolute reach school like i would die to go there
but other colleges i’m thinking of applying to are Boston Uni(i live in massachusetts), Brown, CalTech, Northeastern, Berkeley, Syracuse, John Hopkins, NYU, Vanderbilt and Tufts

they’re in no specific order btw

i also do CTE, I do programming and web development

i’ve realized that APES is also a junior senior only course which is weird bc my guidance counselor said i could do it sophomore year so i might try to ask for ap stats instead

i’ve also never taken any ap or ib classes in my life (i don’t think my school offers IB)

are these classes decent or are there any classes is specific i should absolutely take

Universities have policies on alcohol and drug use on campus and regulate events held by registered student organizations.

If you're wanting to avoid this, on campus housing might be a better option. The majority of students are under the drinking age, and universities will have policies against possession or use in on campus housing. Of course, some people will anyway, but there's usually CA/RAs to assist.

I like being just ok at some things and being better at some things. You cant just tell people two options, and ways to do a thing that might work for you but are not possible for others

trust me schools in a lot of other states like my own are not nearly as privileged or well funded as yours. a lot of people make a lot less money than that, especially people in the south or lower income areas, california is not a good baseline. some people simply dont have all of the options that you do, like im incredibly lucky to be in a community with two colleges, and really good highschools. Many high schools are not nearly as equipped with resources like californian schools

@ocean horizon Generally speaking, yes that is a good course load. Specifically speaking, depends. Do you have a planned major? If so, try to take classes that relate as best as possible to that major. Also take in other factors for a school like MIT. Such as community service, clubs, gpa, class rank, talents, part time work, internships, ect. They’re will be many students like you taking almost the same classes so if you don’t stand out, you will get rejected.
