idk i'm gonna do intro to programming over summer
I think summer classes are dumb but go ahead if u want to
i mean i do it for either no space or credit recovery
could you check my schedule for junior and senior?
Sure
Like ur not getting enough credits in school?
no like i failed some
Not sure about physics c along with precalc
Hate to say it but when it comes to being competitive in college this ain't it
But at the same to college at which you go to for undergrad doesn't matter a whole lot
then what?
this is a big no
what
I'd look for schools that are both affordable and have a school environment you enjoy
And that are also in your academic league
then what is your recommendation
make it better
add more stuff
if ur just gonna waste a summer, thats fine for u, but personally i wouldnt let that slide
i mean idk what i could add more stuff
🤷♂️
once i turn 16 i can apply for a job
hi
Technically yes but reality no
👋
Hello
depends for me
agreed
u dont even have a job lmao
whooops
anyways counselor and my parents said don't overwhelm yourself for class signups but what you guys say is making me doubt to who to believe
look
my goal is to only give u the information u want so u can make the best decision for ur self
that should be the goal of every person who gives advice
aight
not just telling people what to do and to "take this class" but to answer questions they have so they can determine if that class is best for them
okok got it thx
if anyone says "take this class" and "do this ecs" dont believe them
99% of the time, their wrong and it doesnt fit u best cuz in life there is no "normal" everyone is different and has different intrests
aight but just saying my counselor would recommend
well
do u want to go to the top colleges?
do u truly have a passion for striving for the best?
yes and yes
then consider pushing ur self as much as possible and making the best with the situation u have
👍
True
But there are a few that are generalizeable enough
Like band leadership being very good for a lot of paths, engineering especially
How come
the consept of teaching others based on experience is kinda not good
Wdym
Ok
So based on my experience, people “teaching” others are stupid, they give advice on stuff thats sooo wrong and ik this cuz i take lessons unlike everyone else
Such as posture, tone
Intonation, finger ing, etc
Ah I see
I believe that people only become band “leaders” just for colleges
Not to actually teach others
I became a section leader bc I love marching snare
I hate marching
Only after did I realize the benefits
In aware
Bc ur a woodwind and also into concert band
But I myself love marching and battery percussion
i love marching as well
I hate band
And also I don't really teach that much
Band is soo disgusting
I moreso just coordinate fun events for everyone to do together
Orchestra is more my style
How so
Isn't orchestra literally just band but with strings in it
Too loud, too imbalanced, its just too much and not enough of the high instrumental
Lemme look up the difference
A band and orchestra is typically differentiated by strings and saxaphones
If there isnt saxaphones, its most likely an orchestra
My wind ensemble has saxes
And yeah it's a band
But I really don't see how just the fact there's more high voices in band makes it disgusting
Ok heres the thing
Orchestra my bad
An orchestra sounds more round while an band is more blocky
U went more confusing
How can I clarify
Personally I don't like indoor music stuff at all except if it's indoor percussion lol
Percussion is very boring in concert band and orchestra
Indoor is soo nice, u get to sit, drink water, relax, etc
accounting is a poggers class
Marching is nice bc good exercise and difficult music
Marching music is way way more difficult than concert music for percussion
U just stand outside in the sun for 10hrs a day for marching
U wanna see my music?
Marching is too repetitive
Wdym
I mean when it comes to visuals it's not very complex at the high school level
But for world class I see some cool drill
U do too much of the same thing, walking, counting, moving etc
Like the snake for boston crusaders this year
I hope ur counting in indoor too...
Not out loud
But counting
Well im playing world class music rn
Same
Tbh…
Counting to me is kinda natural
Same
I just hear it and i just come in at the right time
I dont count much
Especially with a pianist
I just make sure I at least know where I am
But if I know the piece I know where to come in
Blending in unpitched percussion is interesting
It's more of a writing thing than a thing that u actively do when playing
Good percussion parts are syncopated across the different instruments
And thats how u blend
I feel like this piece has a harder pianist part then solo part lol
Franz Schubert (1797 - 1828)
Introduction et Varation sur un thème de "La Belle Meunière" en mi mineur. D. 802
- Introduction
- Thème
- Variation I
- Variation II
- Variation III
- Variation IV
- Variation V
- Variation VI
- Variation VII
Emmanuel Pahud, Flute
Eric Le Sage, Piano
I wanna play this but pianist will not be happy lol
Ew
I dont like that
Love Debussy
I dont like baroke either
Yeah
Classical is just all the same to my ears for some reason
Satie, Debussy all of em
My fav is classical like mozart and romantic
So good
No
Theres a different
Yes
Especially in the style
1 sec
But to me it sounds like it
What is this supposed to say about it being different
Once u hear different types of music, ull be able to tell pretty easily
Unless its the eras between the eras
Heres some examples

Romantic
Cécile Chaminade (1857–1944) was a French composer and pianist. She is one of the few female composers we know. This piece, the Flute Concertino in D major, op. 107, was composed in 1902 for flute and piano. Years later, the composer arranged it for flute and orchestra. It was a commission for the Paris Conservatoire in 1902 dedicated to Paul Ta...
Btw ive played all these pieces
Nice
Baroque is usually have terranced dynamics
Ok
I mean I get there's different aspects
But idk
I like music that is comparably different to anything before it
Which is why I like impressionism, jazz, and classic rock
^
The whole thing
Romantic music is very flowery with lots of decerations
Nah that's just not true
We just have different taste
Also different perspectives on stuff bc of what we play
Listen at 3:15
Ull like this piece
I mean it's fast
But its also chromatic
What
Quarter = 104
But for this piece its fast
True
I'm trying to think the fastest I played
When it comes to comparable difficulty
Either paradiddles at 233 bpm or back to back triplet flams at 200
Fastest i played is prob 300
What subdivisions
Jasmine Choi, flute
Hugh Sung, piano
This was recorded in December 2010. I would say I play rather differently now (2018), but I'm sharing this with you out of many demands. Thanks so much for your interest and I hope you enjoy playing this:) Best, Jasmine

32 or 64
Idk
2400 bpm
Its been a while since i played this piece
I meant each note = 300
It changes a lot
Which is pretty fast for wind instrument
At the fast part its 100
Just go to kinda the end
The issue with me saying the speed I love played is that it's prob easier to do sextuplets on a snare or marimba than flute
Go to 7:32
Well depends
Depends what grouping but prob
Nvm
Ok
So the sheet music is doing that annoying thing where it's half time
Which I see too often
Half time?
TE Tuner
The tuner is kinda off tho i think
Phones arent great tuners
Especially if some people tune to A = 442 and some at A = 440
Some people be soo stupid lmao
442 is my mortal enemy
My flute is tuned to 442 so i kinda need to push in more
A lot of key instruments like piano, marimba, xylophone, etc are tuned to 442
And just
Why
Its better
How
And violens
It's 2 cents off
U need to keep in mind the violens
Im pretty sure back in the oldern times, an A was 442
440 still better
I dont rlly care imo
Last time i played with strings was a wk ago
I used to do cello and it was soooo boring
Then switched to percussion and it was fun
I kinda like but also hate music at the same time lol
Music is soooo expensive
Most humbling thing I've ever done too
Especially flute costs
I just don't do anything expensive
And just one of my books costed $50
Yeah books can cost ya
Instrument costs is the worst
Sticks are the most expensive thing I buy prob
Instruments themselves I don't really have any on my own
I practice at my school only
Flutes r too expensive
The most expensive flute ive seen is $120k
Yeah but that's unnecessary stuff
Like what
My teacher has a 30k flute
What about it differentiates 30k from everything else
Pahud ( the best flutists in the world) has like a 50k flute
Craftmship, materials, and overall quality
The material is solid 14k rose gold
That is not necessary are u serious
Yes it is, people have different preferences and it’s basically the flute that chooses the player
Some people make terrible sound on a gold flute, some terriable on silver
It all depends
Ohh and theres also wood and platinum
But platinum is too expensive
I mean I guess there are sticks like that
But the difference is sticks are like 30 to 50 bucks
Theres a reason y bouriakov plays on silver then gold
Sounds better with silver
I havent
Solid silver tubing for the body and gold fused with silver for headjoint
I dont try to play on orchestras or bands or anything
Besides my own schools
Just marching band stuff but those are tough to get into
It's a lot different for different instruments
Like marching band music is my sight reading practice
With percussion, battery specifically, u need to be able to not only match sound and timing with 9 other people
But technique, dynamic
The whole 9 yards
Same for us
No u don't get it
Wdym
Sure
I think thats with every instrument but whatever
Down to the complete correct technique for diddle and everything
No its really different
There's a lot of physics stuff with it
Speed of sound differences
Same?
Yeah I know that but once again
Tubing length, sound waves, etc
Length of note
Idk
You have to be in the shoes of a marching snare player to realize what I mean
It seems heavy
Same how I have to be in the shoes of an orchestral flutist
With all the metal n stuff
The instrument?
Prob the 3rd or 4th heaviest instrument in a drum corps
The brace or something
Ignoring pit instruments
1st is tenor drums, 2nd is bass, 3rd is either snare or tuba, 4th is whoever loses 3rd place
Snare and tuba weigh similar
Without the harness
But u cant see it
It depends on what level ur school is
6A
I'm not playing for me
Ah 6a
Are u guys a BOA school
Yeah bc ur a 6a
With not many good people
I go to a 2a school
We have about 80 new freshmans next yr lol
it's fun if the people you march with are good
but if your squad, group, whatever sucks then it sucks a lot. 1 person can screw the entire thing up
So I can’t take chem until my senior year
But I wanted to take ap chem instead of honers and get an ap score for college apps
How hard is it to self study it and take the test as a junior
I might just only take it in gr 11 because that’s when actual IB starts
Well yeah that's when you're supposed to take the IBDP
If your school offers the IB MYP then you take it 9th grade
Okay thanks
Onramps/Dual Credit/Concurrent Enrollment/Dual Enrollment is ALWAYS better than AP:
CHANGE MY MIND
To some extent yes
We are realistic
Its just that u dont understand
Elebrbrate
I wouldnt be assuming if i were u
anyways no arguments however i think people just think they can do it so they try and apply to many classes
i agree
Hey this is just a study guide for students trying to set goals and be better. Please don't put down others (even if you are trying to give a reality check) @cinder gorge there's no need to poke fun at someone's spelling or make assumptions about someone based on the little info you have about them
Exactly
yes ty
Like what does a freshman know about my life?
And don't judge someone based on their grade either. We're all just trying to improve and be kind to one another
ty ben 🫶
Like i didnt get a scholarship my freshman yr and play with an university’s orchestra for no reason
Plus you're only one year older so don't point at someone else for their lack of experience
Well at least im somewhat knowledgeable
yeah cmon no need to flex on music and your orchestra scholarship
A freshman telling people to be realistic is not the way to go
hardly you’re just a one school year older relax
You don't know enough about each other to make any judgements or even moderately harsh statements about someone else
guys it ain’t that deep relax
bro what your deal chill 😭😭
this is so dorky why r u taking it so personal
what he does get into a ivy league

leave the man alone it ain’t that deep
BRO CAN YALL STOP
Im not even applying to ivys lol
You guys are all acting like grade schoolers and have no right to point fingers at other people
WHY ARE YOU SCREENSHOOTING AND SENDING AS IF ITLL CHANGE ANYTHING HAHAHAA
this is the dorkiest argument i’ve ever witnessed 😭😭
What does this mean??? LMAO
…
It takes at least two people to start and perpetuate an argument
whatever you say leo🫶🫶
Sure buddy, think whatever u want
good for you
^
Ok then you can eat
But please don't start an online argument over something stupid
Yes thank you
This is y im here lmao, to stop people from spreading false information
You're not twitter's fact-check, so please just let people be people
There's no need for arguing in a discord chat
what would be better to take ap stats or cp stats, ap lang or ap lit, ap physics or h physics
All
I dont see anything
Btw if u keep telling everyone to be realistic, how do u think people got super successful?
Like jeff bezos, albert einstein, people in well known colleges, etc
If bezos wasn’t ambitious, he would have still be working at mcdonalds rn with minimum wage pay
it’d be best to take all, but it depends on a lot of things
obviously all would be best
but if you HAVW to cut out one or two
consider things like your major, where your strengths and weaknesses lie, and how interested you would be in the class itself
WHat r ur expectations?
What is the difference between AP and IB
have you ever used that thing called google?
Yes
sometimes google is hard to find answers
so it's best to ask people who actually taken them
Ya i was just about to say that it would be better since they have experienced it
And i can listen from their POV
Google just ptovides a general idea of ap and IB but not in depth answer
i never taken IB courses before, but i can talk about AP since i taken one before
i've the same but with ib
AP is basically college level course offered to high schoolers to take to earn college credits once they enter college if you decide to send them it
there are many good AP courses to take to get ready for colleges and able to skip some college courses if you taken them
like one of the most popular one, AP Calculus AB/BC
this is basically equivalent to college Calculus 1/2
it's much faster pace compare to honors class since AP goes over every single topics
and an AP exam you take at the end of the school year
the score you can get range from 1 to 5
that's pretty much what AP are
there are some stuff that i might be missing
but this is just a general overview
From my perspective as a student in the EU, my experience may be a bit different from yours. Basically, IB is a two-year course with six classes of your choice
you can choose different classes at different levels, but you must take at least three or four subjects at the higher level and two or three at the standard level
for example, my friend has English Language and Literature at the Higher Level, Math AA HL, Economics HL, Physics HL, Geography at the Standard Level, and History SL
As of now, I think that the first year of studying isn't so difficult, but I suppose that is because our deadlines for the internals have not started yet. Also, you really need to be diligent in your learning because it will be much harder in year 2 when basically all of the deadlines come and you need to juggle them to get things done, especially when you are taking your extracurriculars.
And you have some other things called TOK and CAS,
tok(theory of knowledge) is basicaly another subject, that "offers dtudents the opportunity to reflect critically on diverse ways of knowing and on areas of knowledge",
But I can say that sometimes during this lesson, we're just trying to prove that grass is green💀
Are dual enrollment classes looked at with the same regard as AP classes ?
Would taking a Dual Enrollment class look good for college
I'm from England were AP classes aren't available what should I do
for extra credit
Aice ?
like further maths for a-level
@cinder gorge thanks
I want to pursue medicine and for my Sophmore year I’m taking AP Biology AP statistics AP Physcology pre calculus world history and literacy
Is that a good a good schedule?
IB is a programme you’re meant to take whole while AP isn’t
It’s generally agreed that IB is significantly more difficult than AP for a variety of reasons that were mentioned before
However, when it comes to the application cycle there’s really no curriculum that beats IB. Just by taking IB you dramatically increase the chances of getting accepted compared to students who have IB in their school and instead offer to take full AP or something
Generally, I recommend that you take the IB if you can help it but don’t break your back over it
Like don’t move schools just to take IB
Alright thanks
Oh yeah there’s also one more benefit
So like if I wanted to take IB human geography for my freshman year, would they make me do more writing
Well pre
Pre IB
I mean
As you share the same classes with the same 20 people for 2 years straight you can get friends easier
You can
It just won’t appear on your DP
You absolutely can
I think freshman is pre ib
In my school a couple dozen freshman take IB Spanish SL
Im in 8th grade so idk
In your school
There’s no such thing as “pre-ib”
There’s the MYP
But that’s unrelated to IBDP
oh mine doesnt 0-0
Yeah dw
Mine doesn’t
MYP is not pre-IB
MYP is just MYP
Like the PYP isn’t pre-MYP
In your school
It’s not required
As once again THE MYP IS NOT RELATED TO THE IBDP OR IBCP
So you would recommend me to take IB?
Alright
Oooh I can’t imagine ratting out that my school is filled with white people that easily 💀
You do know those rankings are not at all accurate right?
Oh shit I forgot IB
But those rankings aren’t accurate
It’s really not lol
Lmfao
Yeah but I’m just saying those rankings don’t work like that lol
How do you think schools are ranked?
Like how do you think schools get that rank?
Wait so most colleges would accept IB students?
I’ll tell you: a single 3 digit number
That’s how your schools’ rank is determined 💀
The average STAR test score is what is used to rank schools
Do you ever see a person at your school just waltz in and say “oh yeah I’m here to rank your school”?
No cause it’s not important
STAR equivalent
Both are based on standardized tests
As in the test you take every year
Most states require you take a test once per year
Its an English and Math exam, you’ve taken it
Yeah FASt
That absolutely is
No
And how do you measure “college readiness”?
First of all: the boards that rank schools are legally not allowed to see average GPA lol
Yeah most high schools are lol
But generally: rankings are really inaccurate
Usually by thousands of places
Also yes
Though many are really stingy about college credits despite SLs generally being agreed to be just as difficult as a AP course
If u dont know stuff, then dont give advice
Ive been doing advanced English since middle school, but should i take ap lang my junior or sophomore year?
Depends
^
?
A high schooler told me that adv english just does more novels
Depends on a lot of factors
Im taking ap physics 1 and ap stat next next year so should i go w ap seminar instead
Ok
It’s encouraged over taking English III, especially as Lang can help you out in college and generally just reading things
In Lang you more learn to read to learn rather than learn to read to analyze if that makes sense
@ripe geyser @cinder gorge yeah but im taking ap physics 1 and ap stat next year aswell so idk if ill be overloaded
And the teachers at my school love giving work
What should I take 11th grade if I want to study pre med
If your school offers an emt program, maybe you could try that
Whoever muted this person, thx
Here's my personal opinion: Sign up for all the AP classes your school lets you sign up for and then, if you find yourself struggling in one or 2 you can reduce the difficulty
If u do the classes u enjoy, they shouldnt be that hard
@slate topaz , dodging rules
no
im thinking of taking functions & relations course this summer to fill the pre req to apply for summer programs next summer but would it be difficult to learn the material properly?
yes anything in the summer besides super easy classes like health or pe or Astro physics is going to be challenging, but if you like challenges, it could be fun.
i mean like will i even be able to learn it properly
bc math is a fairly heavy course
and summer school is a month or even less
If ur in high school I don't really get doing summer classes
Better stuff to be doing
Yeah like working
bc they free up time during your regular year
gives me extra space during the year lol
I work while taking 1 class at my hs and 2 at my college
If ur in a normal high school that is not the case
it just lets me have a free period in my schedule next year
After all being employed full time is both rare and advantageous
i am in a public high school that is normal 💀
Taking 3 classes???
What
they don't know about eachother
I take 7 classes at my high school
i work 35 hours a week
im doing it so i can fulfill pre req. requirements for 2 courses so i can take them next yr which i need for certain summer programs
during the summer?
No
plus lets me be done with math a year early lol
During the year
im talking about during the summer
During summer I work for 40-50 hours a week
during summer im only able to take 1 class
during the year I take 11 courses, legally I can't work more than 20 hours in a week bc yeah
in my state you have graduate highschool or pass a high school proficcency exam to work without a permit
I mean this summer I might only work for 30
But thats bc I got a better job than working at the warehouse I usually did before
during the summer tho you can work 40 but they keep most minors at 35 just encase
ah
even fastfood starts at $22 an hour and if you have a calculus class under your belt in HS, you can be a cashire for 25-26
its fun
Same
But tbf i got good money in the end
I only get $18/hr rn
Bc I worked for 40 hours a week
At Lockheed Martin I'm getting paid 17 an hour
Woohoo
noice
Still low but whatever
I get paid to be an accompanist, freelance, and at a law firm
so like I get paid $50 per performance for percussion, $100 per job for businesses, and I am getting 5k for the lawfirm for jan-june and then ill maybe be moved hourly
though the 5k is a scholarship technically, so i can use it tax less on school expenses
i love lawyers and tax law
may somebody give a brief overview on studying business, economics, & finance & out of those 3, which you recommend to study?
thank you! I'll take all these factors into consideration
should i
take 2 years spanish so i can fit ap psych and ap stat
OR
take 4 years spanish
to look better for colleges (im going into pre med)
take 2 years, if you wanna take extra classes, wait till college, most schools SHOULD offer language classes
I took Spanish 3 freshmen year and it was hell
Same lol, my teacher was the worst
RIGHT OMG
it's like they just KNOW you don't understand half of the material your learning
BRO mine was from Mexico
Half the time I think she thought I was stupid
HONESTLY, and their so rude too
Not mine T^T
she would literally yell my grades in front of the whole class
Oof
I’m sorry about that
At least mine had no midterms
DAMN DUDE i flunked her class first semester, thankfully I already took my language classes in middle school so I just dropped it
Oh and I had her this year, during the World Cup
how was that
Same, I dropped after her class, I was so done with Spanish
pls DM me I wanna know the whole story
And if Spain did bad then she was in a bad mood too
Not used as intended, but I liked the format so I used it
Degree plan
the music minor stuff in the notes is messed up, still need 2 courses
what classes should i take for sophomore year
Math
its not as much im interested in spanish id just like to know which would look better to top tier colleges
Most colleges won't really look at it, they look for the core classes you took, and if you took any advanced or ap classes.
oh so ap psych and ap stat would look better since they are ap?
No
Not necessarily
because ive heard that 4 years looks better then 2 years
not really
im just not sure if ap psych and ap stat or full 4 years spanish would look better
mostly looking for good grades, but they do look for that also
In a sense showing that ur passionate about a certain subject is a good thing
probs ap psych if your going to med school
i think psych is more interesting than spanish lol
If ur gonna do spanish, might as well do all 4yrs
im getting mixed feelings here
Most of what @broken elbow is saying is fake
what? how, this is what I've been told by teachers
Y not do all of em?
every school is different. it depends what would help them get ahead
In a certain degree but mostly no
I almost did all four years, and it wasn't worth it. I almost flunked out of freshemn year because of it.
Aps isnt everything lol
not enough
Hows it not worth it?
Wdym
i dont have enough like semesters to do the other classes i want
if i do both
Yes u do
Most of the stuff you learn won't really be used in some cases
Ur a freshman
dude
That depends heavily
im saying ive already planned what i want to do for sophmore junior and senior
Plan ur hs years and show me, i can prob squish it in
Thats what im doing
12 classes next yr
I do 10rn but yeah
?
thats my high school plan
Can u label whats what and what ur doing ur summer
I would stick with it, seems pretty cut and dry.
so i shouldnt switch out my spanish 3 and 4?
U can do spanish 2 via special admit before the school starts and skip spanish for that yr and put an elective in
whats special admit
if you don't want to then no, but if want to get the class done you would need 2 (from my understanding) language courses to graduate. So you technically only need 2 years if its required
And if u have just 3 classes ur 2nd semester ur not using ur time wisely
No
no those are for the semester long classes lol
Well people have high expectations
what school are you going to lol. It sounds like their putting you through hell
I go to 2 colleges and im in hs
cus my electives are normally a semester so i just didnt put in the full year courses like math science history and la
I have an A & B block type schedule
same
No summer classes? No online?
AH thats why
your classes are different than ours
I'm also enrolled in dual credit but its online.
Great, same
sometimes it can be confusing new high schoolers
id rather spend my summer doing other stuff like internships or volunteering at hospitals for the hours needed for med school
Do not
I remember when I was told similar information, it made me so confused
dont what 😭
Is that iit?
bro why
Ever heard of people changing
in what way would that harm me
Ita just a rough draft, let him be
Yeah ig
im not people 🥱
also those arent set in stone
But it might lead to some inner hurt or an inner obligation to take those classes if they ain't interested in it
Great, that means u can do summer classes and online, on top of internships and vounteering
Yeah but you still got this shit in writing
bruh i am people 😭
you are not people dawg
Look I'm also going to a CTE school, take you want to take and NEED to take. If you only need two yrs in a certain take the two years. Trust me, you DO NOT want to take all of your classes ahead of time
Yes, I'm depressed
No
This is true
Ur WRONG
you will be ahead of your friends, and will be graduating early. You will be ahead YES, but you feel MISERABLE
If you take fucking calc sophomore year you do literally nothing and can't graduate normally 💀
I should know
so many complications come from taking classes early
how many classes do you take in 1 day bro
No, graduating early is such a bad idea
Take your AP and Dual courses during Junior year
Oh rn 3, over the summer it's all college so I get like 1-2 lectures a day for 4 classes and then over Jr. Year it's gonna be 5 hopefully
your stress levels will be so high if you don't
Note though I do an on-off schedule thing
oh
So I have 6 classes total sophomore year, 4 classes total over the summer, and 8 classes total junior year
if it works for you then i dont mind
I currently have 5 right now
Nope, theres ways
A is for my pathway and B is for my regular
how so?
U just need to plan wisely and efficiently
Duck isn't human
He takes 13 hours of classes a day supposedly 💀
Do not listen to him for stress management
sounds like your parents did all the planning for you
I am convinced he doesn't feel stress
I have class for 13.5hrs and my stress level isnt that high
WHAT
Nope
im taking 7 classes 4 on C 3 on B and all 7 on C but they only 45 min long
Please check out a shrink
EXACTLY
bro are you going to school in like china
yeah thats normal
Going through 13 hours of school a day is not normal
fr
No he goes to school in SoCal 💀
B/c i do stuff that i enjoy and if u do that, u shouldnt feel compeled to do anything, it sould be very easy going
Most normal SoCcal resident:
THATS WHAT WERE TRYING TO TELL HIM
But u also need to push ur self
TO TAKE THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF CLASSES SO HE HAS MORE TIME FOR CLASSES HE ENJOYS
Push yourself =/= taking 13.5 hours of class
Duck
This applies to a certain extent
I strongly encourage you don't talk in this channel
I'm not certain if you haven't noticed: you don't do normal schooling
coming from the person who told me to do summer school volunteer intern in 1 summer 😭 that aint easy goin
Regardless @cinder gorge do you even want to go to a like a T50
Dude by the time I graduate I can fast track to get my masters.
yes
wtf
I literally do not want to be in college for that long.
bro what
Y speed up the process if u can do more stuff?
God dammit
dont judge a book by its cover bruh 😭
I see a dude named garry
with a fucking high as fuck dog
I'm going to think he doesn't give a damn about his edumacation 💀
ill have half of my Associates done by the time I graduate
Your dog's higher than me when I get a hit of that hash 💀
rip
Oh, I actually know someone that got their AA in hs
Why does it look a rat????
RIGHT
its been called every animal BUT dog
pig a lot
Looks more like u tbh
I'll figure out a way to make it racist dw
✊
Regardless, Garry what classes were you even trying to take?
replace spanish 3 and 4 with ap psych and ap stat
ok buy Garry seriously, talk to you consular about your classes. See what you need to take freshmen year, take those classes and if you WANT to try and test out for others I would take that route
No
im already in freshman
You'd still have to take classes but if you wanna fast track best root
yeah
i should show my thing to her then ask
Do not
Replace spanish 3
4 go for it
but not 3
ahhh
its way easier than messing up your whole schedule
bruh
gotcha
Most unis want at least 3 years of Spanish 💀
that makes sense
bro they made me take AP
😭
That's normal
would ap psych or ap stat look better for pre med then?
AP Spanish is Spanish III in most schools
I had a bad teacher and I didn't understand a thing
Psych would look better but Stats would literally change your life
Soooo
take that as you will
DO NOT DO STATS
my school ap spanish requires all 4 years of spanish to even take it
OMG
💀
like in a bad way
Do stats
No in a good way
Like knowing how to understand statistics is really important for being a doctor
im interested in psych anyway
true, but I'm trying to be a chef
Like a solid 50% of the work I believe is traight up just reading statistics
is there anything here you think could be replaced with stat or something?
Well if you're a chef why the fuck are you taking AP Stats??
if you think its that important
IM NOT DON'T WORRY
6 electives
bro i need 7 for graduation
tf AP Physics doing there?
I already have like 9 college credits
I get pinged a lot and distracted
10 classes?
its based on semester
@cinder gorge replace physics with stats
I'll probs have 15 by the time I graduate
yeah
1 or 2
I really haven't 💀
oh i dont have 2 on there lol
i thought i was but i changed it for graduation requirements
You don't need physics for premed
everything
also do honor chords mean anything to colleges or is it just a weak flex
Literally nothing
like tassle i think
Like you can't even put them anywhere on your application
When you graduate a lot of schools will give you a little thing you can put on your graduation hat (?)
ok good
That's an honor chord
yeah i think thats what it is
its like a tassle
The only thing you get that lasts is the fun seals on your diploma but those only mean things for certain college/occupations
here
yeah
Those are honor cords
we dont have sashes
k
NAHHHH
LMAO NO
Bro ran away 💀💀💀
Bro got terrified 💀
DUMB SELF
culinary arts is neat tho
Thank You!

This shit is so outta pocket 💀
DELETE IT
Ain't no way
NAHHHH
Emma E. got doxed
