Do you think I have a shot at making it to the Ivy league to play bball? I heard that sports is the best way to get into the ivy league. I played freshmen year but then i moved schools midway through the year and i didn’t play at my new school. i haven’t played in sophomore year. i am thinking about playing junior and senior year to try and get recruited so that i can get into the ivy league. i have a 4.0 unweighted gpa and i’m top 3 percent in my class out of 750 kids. i’m pretty decent at basketball and i feel that if i give 100 percent i can make it. I’m 6 feet and weight about 138 lbs. oh and i’m a sophomore. so i would join my team next year (junior) which would basically give me 1 and a half years to get recruited. Do you think I can make it or should i rely solely on academics? any advice would really appreciated. also how points per game do you think i have to average to be recruited?
