I'm pretty sure it's yield protection (even though UC claims they don't do that, it's been contested in several videos already; And I think it might be yield protection because my classmate with lesser stats got in)

*UC Davis' rejection did surprise me, my UC GPA (10th to 11th) is 4.41, close to the maximum weighted an IB student can have. I'm pretty sure it's yield protection (even though UC claims they don't do that, it's been contested in several videos already; And I think it might be yield protection because my classmate with lesser stats got in)
*Purdue's waitlist is a really disappointing decision for me, because I honestly thought I would've been accepted.
*Tufts is famous of their yield protection (it's called tufts protection if you search on google), and my essays were really uninteresting because I honestly don't care for the school enough
*Georgia Tech's rejection is really sad, but expected. My freshman GPA probably fucked up my chances again as I don't even get close to the engineering average.
