They’re both pretty solid but the hippo u usually lock the center, wait for ur opponent to respond, lock the pieces, and then launch an attack on the opposite flank.
I haven’t played it but I’ve heard that it’s good.

Stop, review the game, and either take a deep breath and play or just take a break and not play until I’m more relaxed (and ofc after considering all my life choices)
