#Flick knives and reckless swing

It's an ability that goes onto the stack and only resolves once both players pass priority in succession. The brute can play reckless swing before flick knives resolves
Priority has to be passed sequentially for a layer to resolve. If turn player (Tyler) activates Flick Knives, non-turn player (Nic) has a chance to respond with Reckless Swing before Flick Knives resolves
What if the assassin then responds with another reaction like “throw dagger” after the brute plays reckless swing? Or does the reckless damage happen before that’s possible since it’s tied to the cost
Reckless swing's damage happens on resolution of reckless swing
Reckless Swing’s damage ability only happens when the card resolves, and only if the cost was paid. If something is played on top of it, like Throw Dagger, the Throw Dagger will resolve first
I see thanks for explaining y’all I understand the resolution stuff better now
