What is the interaction between an IP penalty inflicted by something like 10 foot tall and Arakni’s hero changes? Is it like Levia where it resets?
its been confirmed by josh that it doesnt reset
The difference being "become and revert" vs transform
Question. Will flicking a dagger on third link cause mask of momentum to resolve, from what we know now? the way im reading it, i think it would, as long as chain 3 is an attack action?
Flick Knives causes a dagger to hit, not the current attack to hit. So an attack action card is still needed to hit to get MoM to trigger
Mask states "When an attack action card you control is the third or higher chain link in a row to hit, draw a card." So the attack action card needs to be the thing to hit, not hit on the third chain link.
so it doesnt matter that the chain link is considered to hit, because the attack has to cause it to hit
would the effect of blood run deep cause it to hit? or the same situation as with flick knives
That's how I read it, because MoM wants the attack action card to hit
Does the new dagger get destroyed in the link step, and if so can you respond with cindra
No, the daggers are dealing damage and hitting, not this attack for Blood Runs Deep
so same story. thanks!
jsut wanted to clear that up before brewers brain got the best of me
New dagger is destroyed on combat chain close
If you commit to paying the second part of the cost of the kunai but it’s already gone by the time the chain closes, are you still considered to have payed the cost? If no, what happens? Or are you barred from preventing yourself from paying the cost of destroying the dagger when the chain closes?
Just had a discussion where I think I gave the right answer but am now second guessing myself. When you flick a dagger that has already attacked earlier in the chain, you no longer control a Draconic Chain Link for the purpose of Cindras ability. That’s what I’ve said. But now I wonder if last know information still holds that chain link as Draconic.
Which was is correct?
In what situation are you thinking of this coming up?
Think of it like the cost to activate the dagger is just putting in play an effect that will destroy the dagger at the end of the chain. Whether or not that trigger resolves successfully is irrelevant. Just that it goes off and destroys the dagger if it's still around
So you can attack with the dagger and then, later on the chain, Flick it
LKI knows it's draconic
Hunted Spoiler Discussions ONLY HERE
Release notes may affect it...But currently as it's read Flick Knives would destroy the dagger before the ability to mark someone/destroy it correct?
The on hit does not say you may destroy it if you do mark them. It just says you may choose to mark and destroy. So as it is worded you should be able to mark even if the dagger is already destroyed. Release notes will have final confirmation though
flick knives has to be resolved in full though, right?
wording is completely unintuitive with this interaction
correct or not
it's not like you flick the dagger on flick knives and then get the mark dagger trigger on the stack halfway through the line of text
yes, but its the same way it works as with spiders bite. No line of text is being interrupted
those daggers read completely differently
Flick knives is the only thing on the stack, targeting moth and the opposing hero (ira).
Priority is passed until flick knives begins resolving.
- 1 damage is dealt to ira. There is no priority.
- Damage has been dealt, moth is considered to have hit. There is no priority. Moth's hit trigger is added to the stack. There is still no priority.
- Moth is destroyed. There is no priority.
Flick knives has resolved.
Moth's hit trigger is on the stack. Turn player has priority.
Priority is passed until moth begins resolving. - Ira is marked and moth is destroyed (moth is already gone, but the effect is resolved as much as possible).
Turn player has priority. Play resumes.
Let me know if I missed anything or made any mistakes.
its still just a 'when this hits' trigger
If we base it on 3.0.9 (a card moved to new zone becomes a different copy), could we consider moth in GY has hit?
moth has hit at the time it was still in play; the hit trigger was added to the stack at that point.
I don't think there's a hit property, nor would that follow the card to the grave. such a property would also not be relevant here, as the hit and the trigger cannot exist independently; the trigger only exists because the dagger has hit.
It should be added to the stack beyond the point it was hit, no? Shouldn't it be added after it was destroyed?
adding triggers to the stack happens passively/immediately, that's what the stack is for
resolving is delayed until any ongoing effects have resolved and priority has been passed
as per my description above; moth deals damage (thus hitting) as part of flick's effect. the moment it is considered to have hit, the hit effect is added to the stack.
the dagger is then destroyed (part of flick's effect), but that's irrelevant to whatever is on the stack.
Hmm
Shouldn't a trigger be added on the stack on a new priority state (1.10.1 and 1.10.2d)?
Such, after the resolution, not during the resolution?
1.9 and 6.6 are relevant here
the way I interpret 1.10.1, the game goes through several new states throughout the process of resolving the effect of flick knives
as per 6.6
"A triggered effect is an effect that can be triggered to put a triggered-layer on the stack. Triggered effects are typically written in the format [list, including when]"
Per 1.10.1, a new priority state is a game state where a player would typical gain priority
Per 1.10.2d, trigger effect will go on stack on such timing
might have to take a step back; it's not a priority state, nor is it related to that.
it is triggered as part of one of the instructions of an effect that is being resolved.
the trigger is there, so the effect goes on the stack.
My understanding of the way it works is that the triggered-layer is created immediately upon the MotH hitting but does not go on the stack until flick knives finishes resolving and a player would receive priority.
I was mistaken on that bit; that's the correct order of events
Can you mark someone more than once?
you cannot
For Spur Locked what happens if both players choose 6? Do they both lose 6 life and get to search or since there wasn't a single person with the highest number selected it fails to resolve?
if there's a tie nothing happens

Folks, cornercase question. How would Shiyana transformation occur under an Agent of Chaos?
Shiyana text says she becomes a copy of target hero until the next turn, but if she turns into arakni and manages to become an Agent of Chaos, what will exactly happen when the agent "returns to the brood" (ie you turn back into your base hero)?
Would you turn back into Shiyana or would you turn back into arakni since the "until next turn" did not occur?
We don't know
Question. Mark says you are marked untill an opponent hits you. Yet Grapne gets go again if the opponent is marked. But if i hit my opponent they will no longer be marked, and if this happens in resolution i lose go again. So mostlikely the marked trigger can be re orded with go again or am i missing smth?
You are missing that it's a trigger that gives the go again. So it only checks at the start of the attack step
Ok ty
@wild linden how does this work for the card that got spoiled today, Reaper's Call, and Arakni's Marionette's hero ability to give stealth attacks go again on hit? If you discard after damage does the stealth attack get go again, or does it miss the timing due to the go again being granted on hit?
makes sense, thanks!
For Devotion never dies, if I swing kunai of retribution and then Devotion and it hits, is devotion checking itself for the draconic tag as the last attack on the chain or the precious link (the kunai)
Devotion checks the link before it so it will see that the kunai was draconic
if you mean kunai + dnd + dnd (from banish) then it would check the previous dnd
(which isn't there, so you use last known information)
Just wanna double check and make sure that I'm getting something right:
On a chain link that has an attack that has hit and that flick knives was used and the dagger hit as well (and that dagger was on a previous chain link too), only one attack is considered to have hit even though there have been two hits in the same chain link, correct?
There were 2 hits but only 1 attack hit
correct, the only time it counts as an attack hitting is when the attack itself hits
Coolio, that's what I thought
the flicked dagger does not count towards attacks hitting
Thanks for the quick response
The relevant scenarios for that are extending mask of m or number of hits for take the tempo
Was thinking of salt the wound as well
Thats another one
Obvs the answer is wait for the release notes but im in an airport and have nothing to do. I would assume fealty works positively with the card that just got spoiled that limits cards played this turn to only be draconic
Hi, question about the card just revealed Oath of Loyalty.
It says "When this is played, until end of turn, you may only play cards that are Draconic"
I am wondering how does this interact with cards like Brand with Cinderclaw? Brand with Cinderclaw says "Your next attack action this combat chain is Draconic..."
When is a card considered on the combat chain? On attempted activation? Because if it isn't, then you would not be able to attempt to activate any non draconic card because it only gains draconic while its in the combat chain.
I know the ruling for blood of the dracai, which says the next cards you play gain draconic.
we don't know 100% yet, but the answer appears to be that it interacts favorably with brand with cinderclaw
This is one I could see being ruled either way. I figured the correct answer was wait till they tell us, but I was curious if my logic seemed sound.
the reason is that play legality is checked later than you might expect into the process of playing a card
I could easily see this being ruled either way, but I am no judge so I wanted to see people's opinion who know better then I do. Thank you for the quick response!
Yes check for legality of play is after apply effects that effect next attack
because loyalty beyond the grave implies renaming cards in gy. how long does a card on the combat chain keep their names ?
loyalty beyond the grave may say 2 of the name to work in blitz
a card becomes a new object whenever it changes zone
their point is that the wording is different from cyb
so if you renamed something into "loyalty beyond the grave" it would lose that name when it goes to the graveyard
cyb doesnt say 'cards named cyb'
i misclicked enter while typing and since aegisworn got the names falling off answer before I could fix I left it be. in theory if a generic rename a card in grave effect existed i'm pretty sure a card renamed CYB would count for the count though
hm, i wonder why there is a difference in wording then
new set+new CR usually leads to wording updates I find, would happily be proven wrong by future spoilers/the CR update though 🙂
I think I prefer the cards named X verbage, because it gets around the whole do you mean a card with the name ash or a card with the type ash (which are different subsets of cards)
@tall verge just confirmed in the new article
Sorry, where is the new article at?
I went to the articles page there and didn't see it listed, so I was confused! I appreciate you.
i'm not sure the rules explicitly define it anywhere but the "activate <object>" wording has been used once before, on tri-shot, and i think it just means "activate an ability belonging to <object>" - 5.2.3b and the accompanying example seem to suggest it works that way
in the past they've used "card or ability" in the same situation so it might be a wording mistake, it might be the new wording they're using going forwards, not much to say except wait for release notes
You activate abilities and play cards
I use Cindra as my hero with 2 Kunai as my weapons.
I attack with Kunai (L)
Assuming I have a Kunai of Retribution in my Graveyard
- Can I use Cindra's ability to equip the Kunai
- What happens to the attacking Kunai when the Combat Chain closes
oh uh, lemme just fix the question then
Nope the zephyr needle is still equipped to the slot until the chain closes and the delayed trigger destroys it. So you can activate the ability but it won't do anything
Cheers thanks
Would Sharpened Senses check in reactions to give go again?
sharpened senses is always checking
I have seen that fealty tokens can still be used to make a card draconic under erase face, but what is the exact reasoning? I'm not sure how best to describe it to people. Only way I can describe it is that the card loses draconic thanks to erase face, thus satisfying it's effect, then it's given back by the fealty after the "resolution" of erase face?
6.3.6 specifically says that erase face does not remove properties added by another effect
awesome, thanks!
ssooo... do we know if that new arakni mask can trigger on non chaos arakni?
there is nothing stopping it
Yes it can
with this on hit, can i layer the arakni trigger to check for mark on hit after this on hit resolves to give go again?
If they were marked before you hit you will end with them being marked and having go again. If they were not marked you will not have go again
This is because the attack doesn't actually have the go again on hit when it hit them
yeah arakni isnt your first stealth attack has go again if your opponent is marked. they give your first stealth attack an on hit trigger that gives go again.
I see
Nic plays Isolate. Tyler does not block. Nic then plays Just a Nick with both modes, let it resolve, then plays Take up the mantle, and chooses Leave No Witnesses to banish. I think it should keep the buff, but the part of "becomes a copy" kinda makes me in doubt.
leave no witnesses is not a legal target, but otherwise yes
wait for rules reprise update, but that seems to be fine
https://fabtcg.com/en/articles/rules-reprise-24-the-hunted-limited/ <- has a section carved out specifically for this card
true, forgot that it does not have stealth
I assumed it was one of those 2 just didnt check yet xD
but hey, 6 prognosis/bonds of agony is real 🔥🔥🔥
9, with codex 🔥
Does flicked Kiss of Death retain all on hits given to it?
yes it does
oh boy
toxicity is 🔥
uninteractable -6 life anyone
Does it retain the on hits between links? Lets say its pumped by whatever on the attacking chain link and the opponent chooses to take it, if you attack again, and flick it away on your next attacks chain link, its essentially flicking the same card and effects?
Yes, it will still have the same onhits
For Kiss of Death if it’s given when this hits, go again by Araki Marionette’s hero text if it is flicked by Flick Knives or Bite on the following chain link do you gain another action point? resulting in 2 total
No
it'll try to give go again to the previous chain link but as that's already resolved it'll effectively have no effect
i have a question, lets say you play toxicity then kiss of death and activate on it black widow reaction. also lets say the attack is a hit, you give it go again (snap dragons blacktech) and play another attack action, then activate flick knifes on the attack action to flick kiss of death does that count as kiss of death effects along with toxicity and black widow happen twice ?
it looks that way, but we should wait for official release notes
ok ok thank you
This should be updated in the last rules reprise as well
this is certainly toxic
Thinking them warrior instants are looking kinda good
What’s gonna be the ruling around these? I’d assume only once per combat chain surely right? Or it’d make any blue block six into wider decks
it looks like this turns a blue into a block 6 against wider decks
I was coming to ask that too. Can it be moved from chainlink to chain link or does chain have to be broken for it to be added to another link?
abilities of defending permanents are active while on the combat chain so you can activate the defense reaction even if its already on the combat chain
real question tho: does this bypass CnC effects?
cnc says you can't play defense reacts but these booties are activated
If I move to another Chain link while receiving -1 from the effect of Scale Peeler, will the -1 disappear?
If I play toxicity > kiss of death > snap dragon for GA > any 0 cost attack with 3 damage > then I flick kiss of death. Will toxicity trigger twice?
Assuming the other player didn’t block
yes it will
onhits are not 'consumed' when they hit
regarding dual threat.
i have 3 scenario, is my damage calculation correct ?
kodachi = 1
dual threat
scar for scar = 4 + 3
kodachi = 1
wounding blow = 4
total 13 damage
dual threat
kodachi = 1
scar for scar = 4
kodachi = 1
wounding blow = 4
total 10 damage
kodachi = 1
scar or scar = 4
dual threat
kodachi = 1 + 3
wounding blow = 4 + 3
total 16 damage
That looks correct
Does Bunker Beard cause when this defends triggers like 10ft tall or clashes to occur?
Yes
Thought so, thank you for confirming
What are examples of a continuos layer effect in assassin? What are examples of a static layer effect in assassin?
Are the effects of the "target" stealth card active after copying (such as if I attack with Double Trouble red, play Exposed, play Mantle, get a Pick to Pieces blue) what is the final text and power of the chain link?
1+3+1+1 = 6?
(Pick base, +3 Mantle, Pick's +1 text, +1 exposed)
or
3+2+1+3+1 = 10
(Double Trouble base, +double trouble effect, pick base, +3 mantle, +pick's text, +1 exposed)
or
2+1+3+1+1 = 8
(Double trouble's effect, pick base, +3 mantle, +1 pick's text, +1 exposed)
or something else? Thanks
Does salt the wound count flick knives / blood runs deep type effects?
It does not count flicks (though it might count a flicked kiss of death for yorick games)
oh no, it's not just yorick, infiltrate means this can actually happen 💀
The intent of the card is pretty clear. I don't think we'll know technical details of the card until the CR is updated. An errata is unlikely.
CR update would be the place they clarify things like that, not necessarily release notes
Does it discount itself so i just need one draconic before so that it cost 0?
i dont think so because cost is calculated before it moves to the chain
Hi does this work the way we think it does? Opponent is unmarked, we mark via the attack react will they have to banish a card?
You didn't hit a marked hero in the damage step so no banish from hand.
Say I buff this specific dagger and hit my opponent, can I stack the triggers to end with me drawing a card?
i assume i can but want to double check
No you can't because the hero is marked after the hit. Savor never triggers because the trigger condition requires the hero to be marked at the time of the hit
roger ty boss ❤️
If I attack a marked hero with Scuttle the Canal, meaning it gets go again from it's ability and react with Take Up the Mantle, making it a copy of another stealth card, would it still have go again?
yes
Mask of Deceit
Do we know if you can become an agent of chaos that you already are? Like if I'm currently trapdoor arakni. And I use Mask of Deceit. Can I become trapdoor a second time and also resolve the ability associated with becoming trapdoor?
Nic confirmed with the rules team that trapdoor becoming trapdoor does not allow you to search for a trap again.
Because you do not become trapdoor if you are already trapdoor
Thank you.
Can I attack with Cindra dagger CL1, draconic attack CL2, play BBD CL3 can I target the dagger that is on CL1 to fling with BBD? Essentially attacking with it twice in the same combat chain?
Yes
Yes. The way they are worded, they should. The wording is similar to lumina ascension, so im led to believe they stack.
Yeah just looked up lumina vs blood on her hands thank you for the response
If I attack with bonds of agony, play/activate three attack reacts then play mantle, will the card it transformed into still have the ability bonds gained from itself, similar to how scuttle retains go again? Also Does the bonds trigger that gains the on hit happen before mantle resolves if I play mantle as the third reaction?
No. Bonds of agony's ability is not a triggered ability, it is a static ability that gets removed when mantle resolves
why is this different from scuttle? What's the wording difference?
Is it different if I play mantle as the fourth react I guess?
it's the same
scuttle is a triggered ability that generates a continuous effect, which is not a base property of the object so mantle won't remove it
What makes the bonds ability a static effect instead of a trigger? The wording looks the same as scuttle? Is this just a language inconsistency but the card works as static?
"if" vs "when/whenever/at"
some old cards use "if" for triggered abilities
but those have gotten true text errata's i think
Questions: Scenario 1) If your hero is Viscerai and you play 2 NAA and this card. The card would generate 2 runechants and Vis would create 1 additional. Does that satisfy the go again requirements for this card or do all 3 runechants have to come from DIR's ability?
Scenario 2) same as the first but there is a mordred tide in affect. Will the additional runechants be seen as coming from the attack or from mordred tide?
all 3 have to come from douse in runeblood. "Created this way" is referring to it's own effect
I think mordred tide may actually affect it, but I'm not 100%
mordred would count as its replacing the douse in runeblood effect
so its still douse creating them
on that topic: YDZ is a new artist this set, and her 2 cards are 🔥
The other question is for Mask of Deceit. Can they block with it and become an Agent of chaos even if they are OG Arakni or do they have to be the agent of chaos Arakni to get the ability?
you can be any hero.
The other question is the creation event from this card 1 instance that creates multiple or multiple instances that create 1 when it creates runechants? If you play 2 NAA do you create 1 runechant twice or do you create both at the same time? Mainly asking because of mordred tide. Would MT and another NAA create 3 runechants or 4?
it would be 1 event creating runechants for douse
Thank you

If I play Savor Bloodshed or Up Sticks and Run into any Stealth attack and play Take Up the Mantle targeting Kiss of Death, does it work "the good way"?
-
If I play a 1 power Stealth and then Just a Nick and then Take Up The Mantle targeting a red, does the attack still get +5?
-
If I play a red Stealth attack and then Take Up The Mantle targeting Bonds of Agony, can I then play Just a Nick for both modes?
- yes 3. yes assuming mantle resolves before you play JaN 1. I'm not sure I think the consensus is yes.
My thought on 1 is also yes, but again not sure
Becoming a copy means it inherits power value as well theoretically, correct?
there's a decent line of logic for 1 that i agree with but new CR could clarify/change things
I want to think question 1 doesn't work, because the attack is not a dagger when it's declared? I don't think savor bloodshed continuously checks for the dagger type? And it wasn't a dagger when it was declared as the attack?
i think it does continuously check
- Bonds counts reactions before it becomes Bonds right, just like in Uzuri?
Thank you all
Interesting. I'm not super familiar with the syntax of everything, I definitely can see it going both ways
otherwise, the card will say 'you play or activate' after it, like here: 'the next draconic card you play or activate'
savor buff should be just sitting around waiting for the next attack with the dagger tag it sees to apply to. Similar idea to prismatic leyline just sitting waiting to see an attack with the colour tag red, yellow or blue to apply to
But does it check when the attack is declared if its a dagger? Or will it continue to check after
If it just says 'the next' it constzntly checks. If it says 'the next ... you play or activate', its closer to your interpretation
its the same scenario as leyline pretty much and that one also isnt as clear yet.
Leyline was never confirmed?
Not as far as I know
yeah this is all best effort logic but the wording of play or activate on some cards vs next _ has me lean towards it working. more or less be aware it's a grey area up to judge interpretation
if i'd get asked to rule on it right at this moment i'd say yes. But that could change.
Okay so I'm trying to understand the rules interaction here from the rules reprise; "If Uzuri would put Graphene Chelicera to the bottom of the deck, instead it ceases to exist."
It's my understanding that based on 7.2.3b and 1.4.3a, that the dagger-card has an activated ability which creates an attack-proxy, then both the dagger-card and the attack-proxy are added to the combat chain where "The attack-proxy is the active-attack". Since the active-attack is NOT a card (but rather an attack-proxy), how is Uzuri able to target this for a swap?
Rules Refereces from: Flesh and Blood Comprehensive Rules 20 September 2024 v2.9.0
the rules are not updated for the hunted yet
So is that a confirmation that under the September Rules, that this interaction doesn't work?
for new sets we go by the release notes until the rules are updated
it would fail under the old rules because a arena card cant be in the deck
Sounds good. I'm excited to see what the change is to make everything work!
Why can arena cards not be in the deck. I was able to find:
1.3.2d An arena-card is any non-hero- non-token- non-deck-card. An arena-card cannot start the game in a player’s deck.
But this says start, not they can't exist in there at all.
3.7.2. A deck zone can only contain its owner’s deck-cards. (See Rule 1.3.2c)
Snag cannot remove +3 from hero ability's attack reaction?
Yeah that seems to be right since snag true text only mentions reaction cards and effects on the attack action
I hit with two chain links and attack with a three attack on the third. They block out and I flick knives and kiss of death on the third chain link. Does mask trigger?
no, the attack action card needs to be the thing that hits
this may be a wait for CR update, though currently it's impossible in a sanctioned game
The rules reprise says flicking a kiss of death is an attack action hitting. But I didn't know if it counted for the chain link hitting
I lean towards no because it is an attack action card hitting, but that attack action card is not the current chain link
"7.0.3. A chain link is an element of the combat chain and represents the resolution of an attack. A chain link
is neither an object nor a zone. A chain link comprises an active-attack, an attack-source (if any), and
any number of defending cards"
Damage is dealt during the chain link by an attack action card, but it is not dealt by the chain link's attack action card
this is what Grant said about it. No idea who is right tho, just sharing
It may not get a definitive answer for a while since it can only happen with yorick/scarf for a scarf
Ah so true. For some reason I thought it was assassin/ninja. Sorry for wasting time
its fine, its still a good question to think about. Just not very practical
so this reads the first attack each turn with stealth. So does this mean me and my opponents first attack with stealth gets go again?
yes
Yes. It's comically terrible in assassin mirrors.
Pretty solid hero outside of that.
-
If you use blood run deep to throw 2 dagger and play salt the wound afterwards how many hit count would it be ?
-
If the card that currently block by that all you got is gone from the link, will the opponent draw a card when chain link close ?
- blood runs deep is two dagger hits (assuming the damage is not prevented)
Salt the wound counts attack hits it doesn't care about the flicked daghers
...my bad, sorry
- Yes assuming its power was low enough at the time it disappeared
Thank you but I have one more question
If opponent use quickdodge flexors multiple times across the combat chain, when tenacity attack does it get more power depending to the number of quickdodge reflexors usage as well?
I would assume the instances of QDF do not stack for tenacity; it's a single defending card on the chain (which defended multiple times).
Yup flexors counts as one
I assume this is because of LKI?
yes
Probably a "Wait for release notes" scenario here, but if Arakni, Huntsman has Mask of Deceit and defends with said equipment; does Arakni Huntsman become an Agent of Chaos or does nothing happen and it's simply a vanilla block 2?
no he just transforms. there is nothing stopping that from happning
it would be similar to teklovossen transforming through singulatiry that isn't stopped either.
Does scar tissue on kiss of death work the same as lace with bloodrot on kiss of death when you attack after the kiss of death and flick it?
yes
Does it also work the same with chelicera and then being flicked?
two things here: 1. you can't spike chelicera with bloodrot as it specifies attack action cards
2. most of the buffs that work with kiss of death say "target attack gains", so when you flick kiss of death you are flicking the attack and get the buffs that were granted to the attack. However, with weapons the attack and weapon are 2 separate objects, so while the attack gets the buff, the weapon is what gets flicked
so if scar tissue said "target dagger gets" then it would work
Ah thank you for this write up!
How does quickdodge flexors interact with tenacity? Basically, do the boots count as a single defending card across the chain or does last known information count the fact that quickdodge was a defending card multiple times?
Last know information isn't a card so flexors only contribute once to tenacity
There's actually a rule that can be pointed to that literally answers this question exactly
7.0.5d A card can only defend on one chain link for one attack-target at a time.
(There is more to this specific line in the rules but it has no effect on the situation in question)
Got it, thanks!
Was there a release note about Slippis legality for play?
no, but it is in the set and thats the first product it is in and thus the legality date
Thanks!
apologies if its been asked before, but couldn't find an answer: if black widow's react is used on a stealth dagger (giving it the banish on hit), and that dagger is later flicked, this on hit doesn't apply, correct? (since the attack has the on hit, not the weapon itself?)
Correct
With the exception for kiss of death, which is a stealth dagger attack.
If I discard two Shelter from the Storm and don't block a 2 damage attack, how much damage do I take? In Talishar I was at 1 life and died
that should block both
(This has just been fixed)
For any of the Leap Frog equipment, when an opponent plays or activates their attack reaction, can you move your Leap Frog piece of equipment from your equipment zone to the active chain link as a defending card?
I believe the answer is “no,” but I can’t find the source of why that is.
Yes you can have it leap from either it's appropriate equipment zone or another chain link
if someone scours and you pop one of the targeted fealtys in response, does that make scour fizzle?
no (it also targets the player, so it still has a legal target), but it will reduce the damage of the scour
Arakni Slipped Thru the Cracks is playing against another assassin. The other assassin plays an stealth attack action card, which only has go again because of Arakni's ability. Arakni defends with Mask of Deceit and becomes a random agent of chaos. Does the attack targeting Arakni still have go again, or is Arakni's ability static and no longer applies to the existing attack?
Arakni's ability is a static continuous ability and will no longer apply if arakni transforms
Yes, that’s a valid way to brick their turn by removing go again
Can you name "inner Chi" with Null Time Zone?
Yes, as that is the name of the card. It would not prevent you from playing the other side, only prevent you from pitching the Chi once you transcend.
That's what I figured I just wanted to confirm. Thank you!
Damn, I told people it would fizzle if all the Fealties are popped. I guess 0 damage is almost the same
Yeah, the only case I can see it mattering whether it fizzles or deals 0 is if you gave it go again
