What counts as using a 6-sided die? What randomness events require a 6-sided die? Are all of them required to use a 6-sided die? What about binary random choices as well as random deck/graveyard/banish choices? Are they required to be rolled using 6-sided dice, thus making them a valid target for Gambler's Gloves?

as far as gambler's gloves is concerned, the card effect has to explicitly tell you to roll a 6 sided die (such as scabskin leathers)

#

for anything else that requires randomness, you can do anything that all players agree is sufficiently random. As most players will have dice on them, it's usually easiest to use a 6 sided dice as a source of randomness but does not count as rolling a die for in-game purposes

What about Ready to Roll?

#

doesn't explicitly say 6-sided dice

same as with gloves, you need the effect to specifically say roll a die (or multiple dice)

#

using dice to generate randomness is not the same as rolling a die as far as the game is concerned

Can either player veto the dice as a source of randomness when there's a deck/banish/gy random choice?
Edit: I'm trying to see how this thing interacts with Ready to Roll.

if there's a reasonable concern about it not being truly random, then yes. But like I said, using a die to randomly pick a card does not interact with ready to roll or any other die rolling cards in any way

Ready to roll only interacts with cards that instruct you to roll a die

aight, thanks.

this should be obvious but i'm gonna ask anyway.

can you use Gambler's to rig the choice of which Agent of Chaos you'd like to choose?

Gambler's gloves only interacts with the card if it uses the words "Roll a 6 sided die" in the same sentence
